Ended up trying this spot after being put up in a hotel when my flight was cancelled. Wow! Great food, great service and a sax player with smooth jazz. I’m licking my fingers…

This is my favorite soul food spot in Memphis! The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh, and they have a really friendly and timely staff. Make sure to try their catfish, Mac and cheese, and peach cobbler. Also, they have live entertainment some days which is good for a dinner date or girls’ night!

The Cajun chicken was good. The service was horrible. The waitress and mgmt. need to move faster or they will be out of business soon. This is not a quick place to get lunch.

Just arrived in memphis tn Friday afternoon. This place I’d right next door to the hotel. The catfish was amazing and spaghetti as a side was perfect. I wasn’t fond of the mac and cheese or the corn bread. But I will go again

When I get a taste for greens, purple hull peas, and sweet potatoes, nothing else will do. This amazing combination of veggies is hearty, filling, and absolutely delicious. Service at The Bistro is quick and friendly. The owner is usually on site and checks on your table. I know this review seems brief, but this food is simply wonderful.
One of my other favorite menu items is the grilled chicken salad. They take a good mix of greens and pile them high with ALL the toppings you like. The salad has raisins, golden raisins, tomatoes, potato sticks, and more yummy things I can’t think of right now (I’m still focused on the sweet potatoes).
For tasty home-​cooking and polite servers, stop by The Bistro.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food quality and enjoyed the conversation with how I assume is the owners. I enjoyed the fried catfish, purple hull peas, cornbread, macaroni and cheese. The daily specials looked good too.

Amazing soul food! The Smothered Pork Chops are super tender, i had sides of tasty greens and fresh yams. Unbelievable food and outstanding customer service.

I found this place from my co-​workers. They had a smaller place, but the food was still good. But the customer service is less than desired since moving to new location. Just got my pick up order, and it was not plesent at all. Other co-​workers would pre-​order and food would still not be ready. Certain workers are nice, but too many times they are not available. And kinda skimpy on certain sides such as greens and cabbage.
Be forewarned if you do eat here, the food is great, but not the wait.
