I wish they would have zero stars for this place!
waitress told us that drinks are 25 $, but in the end we find out each 45 $, plus all this happy hour bull s… Im not cheap guy, I just like to pay for what it worth…
This is a trap for all tourists, DO NOT GO THERE!!!

The experience was fun good atmosphere but too expensive for what they offer. Boyfriend and I got a small flatbread with their «two for one» drinks for a total of 62 bucks. The fishbowls were water downed tequila. But the hostesses were helpful in getting a table ASAP.

Oh my God I just read most reviews add negative rip off BS I guess I feel really lucky then only dropped $ 15 for breakfast for two people included two coffees. The get you with a smile but then face reality now i realized the fuked attitude after I place my order

Don’t go to this place, when you order drinks they automatically assume that you’ll want the «2 for 1» happy hour deal per a person in a «regular» fishbowl size. It cost $ 45 per a fishbowl plus $ 18 dollars service charge. If you can’t finish the 2^nd drink on the same night, make sure you ask them for a ticket that allows you to come back another night. If you don’t want the two for one special and want to experience the fishbowl, go to the pelican instead. Pelican charges $ 29 plus.

Worst place they will tell you they have a special but it’s fucking bullshit only a friend and I Ate and he had a meal I only had a drink which were 2 for 1 we paid almost 200 they will make up a bullshit excuse on why it’s more don’t eat here they will take advantage of tourists… It’s pathetic and sad fuck this place

This place is a scam. I know every review says that but I cannot reiterate how much of a scam this place is. Don’t let them lure you in, don’t walk by this place, and definitely do not spend your hard earned money here. I should have Unilocaled before I went. Learn from my lesson and avoid this place completely.

NO! NO! NO! Do NOT stop here. I pray you’re reading this before going in! Find somewhere else to eat and drink! This place is a tourist trap! Save yourself the disappointment. I ordered the gnocchi… the only flavor in it was the frost bite. The sauce didn’t cover that taste up. I asked hubby about his Quesadilla. He said he’s had better but it was delicious (af) because he was starving. They charged us $ 45 for a watered down drink that was supposed to be Buy One Get One Free. They never brought our second drink, but they charged us for it. The ‘manager’ had no problem removing it,. I have no idea what the $ 15 ‘mandatory’ service fee is for. But its obvious this place is just out to get your money. Sure, they provide a great view… but grabbing something cheap to go and eating it on the beach provides a better experience than eating here.
Trust all the bad reviews. Don’t be that one who just can’t believe it’s that bad. It is. You’ve been warned.

We went to South Beach and decided to get some food near the beach. While waking through the different restaurants we were constantly approached by an employee of that restaurant. After looking at the menu (and the prices) and being promised 20% off with a BOGO deal for happy hour we decided to stay and eat here. The service was ok but even after we sat down we were still hassled by passer-​bys looking for us to give them money for what they were offering (souvenirs, single roses, etc.). The BOGO was buy a drink for $ 25-​$ 55 and get one free. Kinda hefty price for a BOGO deal. Also, no sharing; not that they’re very strict on the rule though. The platters will set you back anywhere from $ 55-​$ 75 so we all just got a sandwich or appetizer. The only reason for the 3 stars is because of my steak sandwich! It was really good! Oh! And as we were eating our food we were offered a free tequila shot! I read some reviews prior and asked for the shots right then and there. Once we got the bill none of the discounts had been applied so we had to send it back about 3 times. Although the sandwich was good I won’t go out of my way to go back here.

Can we give this place negative stars!!! I wish I would have read the reviews before going Here. My nephew was in town for spring break and wanted to see south beach. We were walking around and this place seemed to have a good happy hour. When we asked the waitress how much the drinks were she told us the happy hour specials were $ 25 two for one and pointed us to the picture on display (fish bowls). We ordered two and then one more round = eight drinks total. Bill should have been $ 100… But it wasn’t. They instead charged us $ 55 two for one. When we questioned the waitress she sent over the manager who was no help and took $ 20 off our bill. We then confronted the waitress and she proclaimed this is Miami, this is my job. We paid our bill and left and have told everyone we know about this horrible place and its scam. DONT GO!!!

So in addition to all the bad reviews for this place, I wish I saw some of them before going there. Truly is a scam artist at this place, the nice manager is all friendly and offered happy hour drinks and shots. So after we sat down, we are told we get one drink to buy and second to drink here or take with us.
Every time the waiter came back, he said that we are fine and we still getting free drink. I clarified a few times about the free stuff. At end of the night two of them got in my face and asked for a ridiculous amount of money. I saw they charged for every drink and we had no free drinks and all the shots and service fees.
All in all is was not a good way to end my vacation, they threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay. I highly don’t recommend coming here unless you know the real intension, read other reviews on here also. Don’t take what the nice guy with a smile at the door has to say, he would say anything to get you to sit down and then charge you heavily for drinking at least and probably food too. There all nice and friendly until the check comes, then they want the money at that time. Wouldn’t even let me use the bathroom until I paid.

Avoid at all costs. Scam artists. Will lie to your face about prices, then overcharge, claiming it says it on the menu. Nothing on the menu specifies what price belongs to which drink. The waiter will lie to you just to get your business, then when the check comes, you’re screwed. When you get the manager, she will get defensive and not listen to anything you have to say. The waiter will deny everything. They will say that they did you a favor by giving you a fishbowl instead of the size you asked for. Report to Better Business Bureau.
Update: Reported to the Better Business Bureau and the restaurant did not respond or acknowledge the report. This restaurant truly does not care about customer feedback and does not want to correct their areas of opportunity. I advise that you record the waiter as you place your order to ensure that you have evidence of their negligence and misdirection.

Absolutely fucking terrible, I just lost faith in humanity. Been on vacation w my parents for a week, had a great time, and was gonna celebrate our last day w a drink down at the beach. We chose this place out of randomness, the music was nice and they had nice seats.
Then we got the drink list w no prices, and stupid as we were we didn’t ask, but I have never been charged more than 16 bucks a drink, so I thought that maybe at Miami beach it could be 20 bucks, but def not more. But we were caught up in miamis cool vibe and the waitress was really sweet so we went ahead and ordered, two sangria and one frozen margarita. The drinks were huge when we got them, and we were stoked, but there def wasn’t much alcohol in there.
After we drank up, the waitress came out and asked if we were ready for the second round, and we said nooooo, we only want one, and she’s like oh that’s fine, just come back whenever for your second round of drinks, next day or next year, either is fine! We didn’t even know there was another round included, but I was like wow, what a nice place!
Then we asked for the bill: 212 dollars!!! For 3 drinks!!! What??? 55 per drink plus 33 in service fee??? We asked the waitress if she made a mistake, and she said no, that’s how much drinks costs around here. We are from Sweden, and didn’t know how much we could mess around, and we were just shocked, so we paid and left. But after a couple of minutes we got really pissed at how they could treat us this way, they just totally robbed us of 200 bucks!
So we went back, and said this is not fucking okay, and asked to see the manager, but they couldn’t answer who the manager was. My mom got pissed and told the other tables what happened, and she even got one table to get up and leave. Then another waitress came up and said that she can’t do that, that «her problem isn’t their problem» what bullshit! And then another guy came out and said he was gonna call the cops, since my mom was «terrorizing» and I really didn’t feel like having my angry mom and the cops involved so we left.
They pretty much destroyed our vacation, we really enjoyed Miami but now we are all just pissed and feel cheated and robbed. Absolute bullshit that this restaurant can be in business!!! Kinda wanna go there before we leave Miami today, and punch them in the face. I cannot understand how these people can sleep at night. Fuck them!!!

RUN AWAY! I wish I had checked Unilocal prior to walking into this place. They are complete scam artists and I agree with the previous post, I was violated at this restaurant. I was told the drinks were $ 35 as listed on the menu. When the bill arrived the drink was magically $ 110…minus $ 55. One drink was $ 55??? this price isn’t even listed on the menu. Then when I gave my credit card to pay, the receipt came back for $ 70! When I asked what the additional charge was for I was refused an explanation. I was told that I was not allowed to have the original itemized receipt and that the electronic cash register was unable to pull up this information as well. Did I mention we waited 45 minutes for the bill and then never saw the waitress after it arrived?
I will be reporting this business to the better business bureau and disputing the charge with my credit card company.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Not the best. The food was eclectic but left questions of its freshness — not enough of reject it but rather enough to rethink the choice. The staff is aggressive in drawing in new customers. Borderline rude to some. The drinks though large and seemingly good value were relatively poorly made. Overall a below average experience for South Beach. The soup however was excellent.

This place has abysmal food and equally horrible service. Additionally they essentially trick you into a happy hour and fail to mention that beer is not apart of the happy hour but will (after being reminded multiple times) bring you two beers. Finally, to add insult to injury you don’t even have the opportunity to give them the negative tip they deserve for the horrible service and deception by adding the tip in the charge. If I could give negative stars, I would. I hope this review helps and you steer clear.

When the drunk lady dancing in front tells you all drinks are 2 for 1, please know that is not the case… It only applies to cocktails, despite what the drunk lady promises.
The next best part was waiting 30mins for what we thought was a «free» second drink. It then took another 30mins to settle the check after one of their employees with head and neck tattoos caused a scene while we were waiting for them to prepare the bill — which after all this had gratuity included (there were three of us)!
What a rip. Don’t waste your time. Wish I had read the Unilocal reviews for this place ahead of time.

This shouldn’t even be legal what they did in this restaurant. They hide the prices and robbed you. I hope this place gets shutdown soon so other people won’t fall for such scam. STAY AWAY FROM IT

For sure the worst place I’ve ever been to and will go to in my entire life. I didn’t even want to stop because it looked sketchy and nothing stylish about its overall presentation but was with a friend with bad judgement. All the other reviews are completely accurate. I was with 3 and our bill was 705 $. We got the seafood/​meat platter for 3 an appetizer of calamari, and I had a grand margarita. They gave me another «free» marg which I’m not sure if I was charged for but we figured it was for when they brought out the platter they knocked my mothers water all over her. We paid without question and tipped 20 percent because it was our fault for not asking how much anything was.
It seems like they try to make their English more broken than it is and they told us the wait was taking so long because the seafood is freshly caught so they have to clean it
