Very nice! I was there a week ago and the food was excellent! The picadilo is my favorite. And the service is ok.

Just moved to the beach, had to find some great Cuban food, used to Hialeah. This place is SUPERB!!! Started with the mixed appetizer, Marquita’s, papa relleno, etc… was excellent. Their chicken soup(sopa de pollo) is the best I ever had… better than abuela … Had vaca Frita and was soooooo tasty, could not eat it all. Friend had the chicken ala plancha. again huge portion and delicious with the cooked onions… try the little donuts for dessert –melt In your mouth with a nice Cuban coffee… love this place… also they have an outdoor patio in back… oh and FULLBAR!!!

Coming from a Cuban home and enjoying great Cuban dishes, it’s great to have come across Sazon. Far better than the famous La Carreta and Versailles who have gone downhill providing subpar Cuban food the likes of Sazon are a hidden treasure.

A nice little spot away from the tourists where the locals go. The Cuban food was authentic and tasty. Very large menu with a lot of options. Prices are good for the area.

Really amazing food and fantastic quality! The Ropa Vieja in particular is by far one of the best dishes of the restaurant and its the most authentic«home made» taste for Cuban dishes that I have had. The pricing is decent not the cheapest but reasonable! Highly recommend! Great staff!

OMG this place is fabulous. Wife and I ate here for lunch and it was delicious. Ceviche is a must, generous portion with tons of flavor. Wifey had the snapper, and it was tasty. A few pin bones did not prevent her from devouring the entire fish. Steak fajitas fill d this guy up quite nicely. Very quaint and casual.

If you’re in Miami and happen to be craving some delectable Cuban food… Then you need to be here. Attentive and friendly service. We had the fish civiche as an appetizer which by far had to be one of the best I’ve ever had and they also give out fresh warm bread as well. I had grilled chicken steak with yellow rice and plantains. Their yellow rice was absolutely to die for & the plantains sweetened to perfection. It all meshed nicely with the chicken. I loved it!

I don’t know what to write. The first word that comes to mind is «meh». The food was just ok — nothing special and the experience isn’t great either. Service was good and attentive which is why I awarded 2 stars. The food: The standout for me was the beef empanadas. Other than that I hardly recall what I ordered because it was mediocre at best. There are better options in the area: skip this place.

Check this place out of you are on the beach and looking for good Cuban food. The vaca frita was on point!!! Also my hubby said the paella was the best he ever had, and that says a lot. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals which included Churrasco and a filet of fish(I think it was tilapia). The price was just right for the beach, a perfect way to get a great meal without breaking the bank. The service was decent, but they did forget one of our parties food and it didn’t come out until almost everyone was done eating. He loved the meal so he wasn’t upset. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but if you’re in the area definitely go!

Visiting the area, and not wanting to go much further to towards South Beach, this space glowed in reviews. Certainly, a natural visit for any fellow Unilocaler! The service was excellent. The food was hot and flavorful. The menu was incredibly vast. I stuck to the traditional cuban items highlighted in red. I also had the sangria… wow! This place is way worth the visit.

I won’t talk about the food, the service was so bad and unprofessional that we decided to leave before having our order ready. Those two women started by being quite rude when given us seats. They accompanied us to our table and as we were about to sit then they literally took the chairs and table away from us. We ended up sitting a small table for 3. So far not such a big deal but a little bit unpleasant A few minutes after that they took our order a waiter appears and gave us bread and what I thought was a little free appetizer to share. Then the waitress came and ask us with an attitude why we had this appetizer, that we haven’t even touched, on the table. She started being really aggressive, telling us that we took it from someone else and that we now had to pay for it … Obviously the waiter made a mistake but instead of fixing it in a nice way this lady made it worst I told her that I wasn’t going to take the blame for their service issue and we ask her to be nicer. She denied being rude and on top of that told me that it was our fault and that we should have refused this little appet/bowl. Considering their lake of consideration we decided to leave the place immediately. The management did not really seem to care neither.

Little to pricey and busy for my liking. The servers seemed overly worried about the space and it seemed to have a much more limited menu than what was advertised. I would give it three stars but I didn’t like my sandwich. I’ll pass.

This place was within walking distance of our condo when we were visiting the area. We went for breakfast and had amazing Cuban coffee, along with other typical breakfast fare. The toast was made from Cuban bread, which was absolutely delicious. Later that same night, due to proximity, we had Cuban sandwiches delivered to our condo. The ham was great and the Cuban bread hit the spot! It’s a good little neighborhood spot for a quick bite to eat.

I searched here on Unilocal«Cuban sandwiches» in the areas that I was in and this happened to be the closest one with pretty good reviews. I’m not sure if that is how Miami does their cuban sandwiches, but I was not impressed. The bread wasn’t pressed and there was not a lot of taste to it overall. For $ 10, I understand that it is Miami Beach so everything is overpriced to begin with, but to serve a mediocre sandwich and it not even taste like the real thing, I just won’t return here to eat this particular item. Though the wait staff was very helpful, and I will probably return to try something else on their menu.

Super cute Cuban restaurant. They had a lady come in and play the piano live. She was really good. The staff is really good there and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and friendly as well. I ordered the pan con lechon desmenuzado. Basically pork sandwich with fries. The pork wasn’t too bad. It was a bit dry, but it was still good. I personally like a lot of variety and the sandwich was just the bread, pork, and onions so I would have liked more toppings, but the fries were thin and crispy. I would definitely go back to try other items on the menu. Their yucca is actually really good as well.

I went here on a Sunday morning at 7AM right after a redeye flight from California. In other words, I was starving and so ready to eat Cuban food. I went to Sazon after going to the beach to watch the sunrise. I was disappointed that they were only serving their breakfast menu at that time. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get any ropa vieja or oxtail stew but I understood why. I was even more disappointed that they didn’t even have everything on their breakfast menu. I wanted the rice with plantains and scrambled eggs. They didn’t have the rice. The breakfast that I did have was pretty good, especially the Cuban bread and café. I also got a cordatito on the side — it was super strong and delicious. The service here was excellent. They were very nice and apologized for their limited availability. They gave me a free glass of fresh squeezed oj since they didn’t have the rice. It wasn’t the rice that I wanted, but it was a nice gesture

Great food and service. Palomilla steak as tender as can be, for a very economical price. Other steaks too, plus chicken, fish, etc. EXCELLENT black beans and/or black bean soup. Suitable wines. In the back is a little outdoor café for coffee and pastry. Sweet, friendly staff back there. Try a cortadito and a walk in the neighborhood…

Vier Sterne.
