I actually have a very funny story about Spaghetto but I’ll leave that for the end. The pasta here is slap-yo-momma good. All the sauces are fresh and it tastes better than all of Italy did the two times I’ve been there. I no longer live in Miami but upon returning this holiday season, I thought it would be a great place to take my boyfriend, who loves Italian food. I’ve been here on various occasions and never had a bad meal. The only thing I did not like when I visited, is that they play top 40s music over speakers and it truly takes away from the«Italian» feel I yearn for when visiting a place like this. On a Saturday evening after some very heavy drinking, some friends and I ordered take out from here and waited for our food to be ready. In my heavily intoxicated state it dawned on me that Britney Spears was playing and it made me kind of sad. «It’s Britney, bitch» doesn’t go with bucatini and wine. I wrote this down on a napkin and handed it to a cook working the register. I think he thought I was hitting on him because he threw away the napkin. But I just want to say, HEYDUDE, your restaurant is great and I love your food, so please play some old Italian tunes and give your establishment that certain je né sais quoi it deserves. That’s amore is my favorite…

I don’t like giving bad reviews but I wasn’t impressed. My husband and I walked through the rain with our baby from our hotel(about 8’blocks away) to try out the Unilocal deal — yes, we like deals and were willing to walk through some sprinkles to try it out. Small place. The food was mediocre, however we ended up getting it to go because it was so HOT in there. Also, the Unilocal check-in deal for a free glass of wine DOESNOTWORK because apparently they don’t have a liquor/alcohol license right now. This offer should be taken down as it’s false representation.

I found this restaurant on Unilocal and purchased the Unilocal Voucher«15 for 30» deal. The other reviewers before me were right– great food, bad service. But when I mean bad, I mean REALLY bad. I first tried ordering online for pick-up but realized you cannot use the voucher if you pay with credit card online. So, I called to order by phone. Big mistake. I said«Can I order for takeout?» And the woman who answered kept saying«What??» «What???» I repeated myself literally 10 times before hanging up, very frustrated. I decided to order online but choose the«Pay [in store] with cash» option when checking out. I showed up at the restaurant with my Unilocal voucher in-hand. When I showed up, I told the lady at the cash register(clearly the same one I spoke to on the phone) that I was there for pick up. She brought up my order and and told me the total: 31.95. I told her I had the Unilocal voucher for $ 30 and showed her my phone. She gave me a confused look and looked at the voucher on my phone for about 5 minutes, then gave it back and said, «31.95». I told her again, «I already paid online for the voucher– I owe you the remainder, 1.95.» She looked at me very confused, and again repeated the total, «31.95». I tried to explain to her what a Unilocal voucher was, and she brought over another guy who said«I dont speak much English, Im italian.» I tried explaining it again and kept getting confused looks from the girl, who again repeated the total to me. Now, I was VERY frustrated, and told her curtly, «Look– I already paid online. Your restaurant partnered with Unilocal on this voucher, I am NOT paying again. Can I get my food or not?» She now blurted out«I didn’t understand, fine!» In a horribly nasty tone and then said, «Fine, 1.95.» I gave her 2 dollars, took my food and left. If I did not have a voucher I don’t think I would come back, unless someone else in my group went and picked it up… I certainly wouldn’t eat in store. The food was very good– we ordered the pear ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, and the Caprese Spiedini. All of the dishes were very fresh and very good, but the pear ravioli wasn’t the best I’ve had. There was a bit too much cheese compared to the amount of pear, so you couldn’t quite taste the pear in some of the pieces. Overall, the voucher made it worth it(all of that food for $ 15 was truly a bargain) but the service was truly terrible. I would normally give a restaurant with that kind of service 1 star, but the food was so good for the price(even at regular pricing) that I felt it deserved an extra star.

Very small restaurant & even smaller menu. There were 4 of us. We ordered 3 chicken parmigiana and 1 spaghetti & meatballs. At 1 o’clock in the afternoon, they only had enough chicken parmigiana for 2 people and NO meatballs! :(. Extremely disappointed. We left without eating and walked down the street to La Locanda. Glad we did. Fresh authentic Italian food at the new restaurant. Spaghetto needs to get it together!

LIKE A FUCKINGSAUNAINHERE. ATLEASTTURNONTHEACFORGOD’S SAKE. I know it’s hot in Miami, but close the door and turn the AC up. Pasta is a 3 out of 5. Pretty good but doesn’t compete with any other small Italian places in Miami. Pretty affordable, but I’ll go somewhere else with better pasta, and more importantly… Air conditioning.

The food and service was excellent! We bought a coupon on help that cut our bill in half. The homemade pastas are Cooke to perfection and the sauces have great flavor. We tried the Alfredo and the tomato basil and both were fantastic. Stopped in here based on reviews from other people and it was so worth it!

My family is Italian and I know very well the taste of a home made pasta… This is one, and my favorite in the beach, so enjoy it! Tip: you can use the parking on the 7th street between Washington and Collins Avenue. BTW, my only comment is that their delivery outsourcing company is taking a little longer than before and because this is pasta, you don’t want to wait too long.

Today is my last time ordering food from this restaurant, since something so simple as taking down an order is such an issue. I don’t need a headache, just to get my food done right. I don’t have time to be calling the restaurant back, everytime they get my order wrong… AGAIN… Today makes it the(5)th time they get my order wrong, and we’re not even talking about something ‘major,’ here– I’m talking about something as simple as pasta type, I always order whole wheat, and they know this already because I’ve ‘been’ a regular customer at this eatery for the past few months and ALWAYS, I mean always order the same exact thing«whole wheat pasta». Everytime they got it wrong I was nice about it, and continued to dine there because the pasta is hand made daily, as well as the sauces(tomato, being my fave: zesty, fresh and tangy), I also had hopes that they’d eventually improve… but today was the last straw. This eatery knows me so well that they don’t even ask for my name, when I phone my order. The staff always recognizes me when I visit and they already know my issue w/white pasta, I’ve had 1 or(2) spats w/them because of their desire to force me to eat something that I don’t like– but yet they did it again, except that now the phone has been disconnected– it goes straight to an automated voice message. I had ordered my food only minutes ago, how is it that NOW the phone is suddenly not able to take calls. So convenient, right after they screw up my order for the(5)th time w/the same mistake. All I wanted was what I had payed for– whole wheat pasta. How hard is that, something so simple? Like I had mentioned before, getting an order wrong(5) times in only a matter of months must mean that you don’t want my money– or you don’t want me to return. Period. It wouldn’t surprise me, though, if this recent behavior is intentional, considering last week I had a dispute for this very reason. My last words were, «constantly getting the wrong order, no matter how simple it is, makes me not want to eat here anymore.» Well, now they got what they wanted, they will never see me again. There are far too many other Italian eateries that will make my life easier and not treat me as though I were a demanding * hole, when all I want is what I payed for. Geez. How hard is that? Whole wheat pasta. Whole wheat pasta! My Goshhhh!!! Never ever again!

Great place for a make your own gourmet pasta dish. Very low-key and lots of options. Small space so you’ll most likely end up sitting outside but with the gorgeous weather you’ll end up wanting to anyways.

I love LOVE this little italian eatery. It is great for takeout but has some outdoor seating and a couple cozy little tables inside. And the kitchen is right there in plain sight and you can see The chef is cooking the Best pasta i have ever had(and thats saying a lot with all the delicious authentic italian spots around my neighborhood), as well as other dishes, and superb home made bread. It is very affordable and a very simple yet delicious menu. I always hear italian spoken here, both by the staff and many customers, a sure sign it is authentic and yummy! A touch i love is a 3 foot drawing on the wall showing all the different types of pasta and what they are called, just in case you don’t remember the difference between Fusilli, tortellini and cannelloni(i never do, lol) This place is very similar to the little eateries where i had great pasta dishes when i was in Italy. Anyone in south beach, tourist or local, i highly recommend this spot… And reminder, it is great, and ideal for takeout.

I’m so torn on what to rate this place. They would’ve had five stars if I had decent service. My service was just plain horrible. I was never even given water and had to go up to them to ask to pay for my meal. Otherwise my meal(fettuccine in crema di salmone) was out of this world. The best pasta dish I’ve had in years probably.

OMG! I love this place. I tried it out for the first time last night and loved the spaghetti with meatballs for like $ 12 and well worth it. The food was delicious! I need to try out the other Italian dishes in the coming weeks. The staff was friendly and food was cooked promptly. I cant wait to go back again!

Food is fresh and delicious here! I’m from out of town and I always visit Spaghetto every time I’m in Miami! Pasta is fresh and seasoned just right! simple and casual attire. Tiramisu and panna cotta are must haves after the meal! You can choose the traditional pasta or you can build your own pasta. If you’re looking for a casual place to eat Delicious Italian this is the place!

I have been quite a few times and for the location and prices, I give it 5 stars. The pasta is not made in house but they are locally made and are very good. It is more of a take out place than an eat in one. For this, the service is lacking tos ay the least. It’s funny, the girl stands outside to get people in but once you sit down, she plays a disappearing act. If you ask for water, they are more prone to give you bottled zephyrhills before water from the tap unless you ask. which is ironic since you are not getting«Better» water, just another municipal water from the same state. I don’t like this. I believe everyone should ask you what you prefer with all the bottled water and ta water problems out there, should be your choice and not about making another $ 2.50 for the restaurant. Anywho, with that said, I like the place. It’s fast, its good, it’s reasonably priced and it’s in a central location. Would recommend trying it, to go if you are picky about where you eat =)

So i would give this place 5 Stars if parking was readily available, and it’s not. Granted, they have locations in miami beach and downtown. These locations are hard to get to in car because parking is a challenge. I really wish they had a location near Mid Town Miami. But, you can’t beat the TASTE! My wife and I enjoy the simplicity mixed with rich flavors. The chef is super friendly and we even got courtesy garlic bread. Nice smooth tasty beers, i mean, you can’t go wrong. SPAGUETTO, I’M A FAN.

Great pasta, fast, cheap, consistent and delicious. Very good take out option. The sauces are flavorful contrary to other Unilocal.Spend 5 bucks to try it and you will come back time and again. The bucatini with bolognese sauce and mushrooms sprinkled with crushed red pepper is excellent.
