Round Table Pizza

I give this Round Table Pizza three stars because it is usually pretty good but on more than one occasion they have forgotten part of our delivery order or messed it up. On this particular delivery our driver, Andrew, was 25 minutes passed the delivery time. I normally would think maybe it wasn’t his fault but our pizza and garlic twists were cold so… I love Round Table though so I don’t imagine it will be the last time I order just don’t be surprised if they miss something or are late. I have not actually eaten at the restaurant or picked up so I can not review on either of those things. Happy pizza eating.

I must say I had quite a terrible experience tonight. Ordered a pizza for delivery and when we sat down to eat it, this is what we got. The pizza was under cooked and limp. All the toppings slid off if you tried to pick it up. I’m a pretty understanding individual but I also spent good money for this. So I called to let them know and see what they could do for a paying customer. I spoke with the manager and let her know the situation. She then proceeded to tell me that she cut the pizza herself and it was fully cooked. I don’t feel we were treated as valued customers and I don’t feel the manager knows how to properly deal with these situations. F for Round Table. I’ll keep eating at Jack’s Pizza Café.

Always great pizza & great service! Even when we order delivery it comes fresh & delicious. The lunch buffet is affordable & definitely a good value! I love that they also have games out for the family to play while you wait for your pizza!

The pizza is usually good. Best way to go is be very specific and order in person. This place is dreary and old but Round Table usually has great pizza if you want to pay for it.

I just want to say this Round Table is the BEST! They always give you service with a smile, and customer service is excellent. I always order pizza from this location even though I have the option of going to the Round Table on McHenry (which I will never go to that location because of the horrible service and the yucky stench of that restaurant). There was one day that I ordered the Guineveres Veggie pizza and they did not put the creamy garlic ranch sauce that I requested. I called and spoke to the manager (Hayden) who was extremely sweet and apologetic. He offered to bake another extra large pizza for me at no cost. I thought that he displayed excellent service for doing that for me. They are very lucky to have a manager kind as he is running the place. I will always come here for the great service and immaculate pizza! Thanks!

If I had the choice to put no stars I would.

There are many reasons this place deserves 5 stars: The salad bar is always clean and full of fresh perfect food. Lots of specials including lunch buffets with variety of newly baked pizzas, and they have always been happy to make whatever I want. The other modest location serves old pizza kept in hot boxes. .big difference. Michael at Orangeburg makes me a plate with a frosting smiley face for my dessert stix. They remember us and treat us like family. Bottom line is great hot fresh pizza and clean fresh salad. You can’t get better pizza in modesto or nearby, and service is exemplary.

Ghetto buffet a lot people not enough pizza lol… salad bar ran was out of lettuce… macaroni had cranberry sauce mixed in it. pizza was kinda cold lol over all a bad experience will never do this again.

It is really too bad this particular round table has such terrible customer service and timeliness, as Round Table pizza is my favorite. I am very hesitant to ever give this place my business again. The last few times I’ve gone in, my order wasn’t done in the estimated time. Pizza was burnt or they hadn’t started it at all. I’ve placed a few delivery orders as well, the most recent of which showed up 45 minutes late. I called when it was 30 minutes late to ask where it was, ‘oh sorry ma’am, we are really busy tonight. The driver is on his way.’ No compensation, discount, no free pizza. What makes me ever want to order from here again?!

Never again… I used to come here when I wanted to switch things up a bit from the norm. (Mountain Mike’s) But last night I had encountered a little problem…
I went to go pickup our order, and pulled out my girlfriends debit card… Then things went haywire…
The manager looked at the name on the card, then looked at my ID. She looks at me with this annoying smirk and says, «Oh, we can’t take this.»…“What do you mean?” I ask her. «The name on the card is different than that of your ID» she replies.
«Yeah, it’s my girlfriends card. They know us here we’ve been coming for years and i’ve never once encountered a problem with any transaction using my girlfriends card… Like I said, they know who I am.»
«WELL I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE YOUR CARD, SO YOU CAN PAY CASH OR YOU HAVE TO LEAVE», she replies with tons of attitude, which is absurd because I was being completely reasonable and trying to emphasize the fact that everything is all good, it’s my GF, we come here all the time and it’s just pizza, no need to lose our cool…
So I tell her that i’m going to call my GF and have her come down there and present her ID… The lady, (WHO HAPPENS TO BE A SUPERVISOR) doesn’t say a word to me, walks over to the phone and picks it up. She’s staring at me and whispering to someone on the other end. Maybe it was the manager? She hangs up the phone then walks to the back.
My GF calls immediately after to talk the supervisor. I hear the supervisor start to raise her voice to my GF: «HE HAS TO LEAVE, WE FEEL THREATENED I’M GOING TO CALL THE COPS IF HE DOESN’T LEAVE RIGHT NOW. GO AHEAD AND CALL CORPORATE CAUSE I’M GOING TO CALL THE COPS HE NEEDS TO LEAVE!!» She frantically yells, freaking out.
She comes back huffing and puffing «I JUST TALKED TO YOUR GF SHE SAID SHE’S NOT COMING DOWN HERE YOU LEAVE TO LEAVE NOW GO GO GO GET OUT OR I’M GOING TO CALL THE COPS AND TELL THEM YOU WON’T LEAVE».
All this over using my GF’s debit card. Honestly, I felt that it was because of the fact that I have tattoos. I have them on my arms and hands. That’s it. I don’t look intimidating or like a criminal or anything, but I think this lady blew the situation way out of proportion, policy or not. She handled the situation poorly, and they lost my business. Not everyone is married and has the same last name on every card, or maybe she decided to keep her last name??? Either way, this manager handled the situation very poorly and they lost business because of it.
By the way, I believe the managers name is Maria. It’s a heavier set Mexican women with an accent.
I then called Mountain Mike’s, and got a bigger pizza for a cheaper price and excellent customer service. Don’t know why Round Table still exists to be honest.

So all I have to say about this round table is that the management lies to you. I went there and ordered a couple nights ago to go and when I got home they had given me the wrong pizza I called them to let them know it was wrong and the person I originally spoke to Nathan put me on the phone with his manager. The manager informed me that they had run out of the Polynesian sauce for my chicken Maui zaui pizza and since I picked it up they didn’t have my address to bring anything else but that she would put my name and number in the system so I can get the pizza I had wanted for free next time. I call back the next day to order and the management that night I believe her name was savannah would not honor what the previous manager told me because she said I needed my receipt to prove I bought pizza the night before since she didn’t work when the manager the night before told me all I needed to give was my phone number because it’s in the system.
THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR PROMISES!!! I won’t be going back there again because they can’t even get the orders right and then don’t wanna fix it

I keep thinking Round Table has the best Pizza around. a bit pricy but worth it. But honestly the last few times I have ordered for delivery. the pizzas we not good. We really like the BBQ chicken pizza and it came with no sauce at all on the pizza and just a very slight (not even a drizzled) amount of BBQ sauce on it. It was pretty much tasteless and we ordered the extra large and hardly any of it was eaten. Disappointed again. I guess I am gonna have to stick with Mountain Mikes. over $ 90 for pizza tonight and it was actually pretty crappy! That is «Jacked Up»!!!
Oh and I tried to call and complain and they out me on hold and then I was disconnected. Bad service and bad food and a not good price for the lack of quality.

I will say I love their pizza when it’s available but I took my kids to their lunch buffet and they were out of pizza pretty much the entire time we were there! They would occasionally bring out a pizza but the line to get a piece was so long they were out by the time we got to the front of the line. So we ate salad bar. Pretty disappointing, they need to plan better for the lunch crowd because they have awesome pizza if you can actually get a piece!

My wife and I are staying in town temporarily and I must say, I love this location. The customer service is way above and beyond what I would expect from a lot of younger employees. The first time we came, a young man came by asking each table if they needed anything, then he helped clean off tables. The young gal at the front was helpful and more than polite. The place is clean. Salad bar always stocked! Fantastic!

I’ve only ordered from here twice but this will definitely be my last. I asked about the specials and ended just ordering a large 3 topping. Before I could object to the nearly $ 30 pizza I was hung up on. My husband asked to change the order and one of the employees gave him attitude bc the pizza apparently was already prepped. He asked about the specials and the women helping him says, ‘I’ve already told your wife the specials!’ I don’t know the rules/​regs but I’m pretty sure they get to eat the pizza. If not that doesn’t constitute the staff to be disrespectful and bent out of shape bc we as the customer ask them to do their job. Very rude, unprofessional and completely out of line.

Since my Unilocal review I was contacted by someone from Round Table and sent a card for a free pizza and the person was very apologetic. I very much appreciated this gesture and the customer service. I really like their pizza so I’m glad we don’t have to go elsewhere after all! Thank you Round Table.

Pizza arrived late and was not even hot! Poor service. The delivery man had a nerve to have an attitude at the time of his late arrival.

I believe this is the only one that is a buffet here in Modesto. All the other ones is just a pizza restaurant. If you love pizza and love round table I suggest you come here because its a buffet. They deliver as well.

It’s Round Table and it is literally 2 blocks away from my house. I have never had a problem here as it has been consistent for the the 17 years I have been a customer.

Nobody does pizza like round table… the last honest pizza!!! Chicken n Garlic with pan crust!!!
