Green T Nails

I love this place. It does not smell bad. The only smell that’s strong here is literally the nail polish. They use some green tea essential oil in their scrubs and soaks. Sometimes I’ve been given green tea to drink. It smells amazing actually. They also do a nice eyebrow wax. Very clean and I got a short head massage after. I had a headache before I began. After I left my headache was gone for the rest of the evening. They do a great job on nails. They are accommodating to people with disabilities and considerate. (They have always been very kind to my mother.) I would recommend this nail salon to anyone and would recommend to try this nail salon for children who want their nails painted since it’s overpowered by fumes like some salons are.

I stopped by on my way to another salon, for convenience sake, and loved it. They had appointments back to back but squeezed me in for a mani pedi, and just gave me both simultaneously. The work they did was stellar, and they were extremely professional. Where another salon wouldn’t have taken me with booked up appointments, they made it work!

I only come here once in a while when I come and visit my mom it is my favorite place in Morton Grove.
It’s a place where you can relax and the girls are very professional.
I recommend making an appointment.

I love Green T. You great an awesome service for a great price. I strongly suggest asking for Julie or Segy (sp?). They are both fantastic. I am not a fan of the other nail technicians.
They do a nice job and my manicure lasts a long time.

Came here twice, both times had a pedi with Julie, the owner. Not really impressed. My toes looked good but the foot massage which is why any woman goes to get a pedi in the first place, lacked any enthusiasm.

Green T Nail is my fave! Clean, quite and very accommodating. The owner takes the satisfaction of her clients very seriously.

For a long time Green T was my nail place. I moved there several years ago when they changed ownership of Nail Essence across the street. At one point I was there every week or so. They have a good deal for a mani pedi Monday through Wednesday at $ 35.00. The place is clean and the owners and girls are sweet. Sadly, I no longer work on the north shore, so Green T isn’t nearby anymore, but for awhile when I did get my digits groomed, I would make the trip special anyway. Then, to save cash, I stopped getting my nails done every week and started doing them myself. In the absence of special events and holidays, I get them done only every 5 or 6 weeks when I get a pedicure. (I’ve cut back, but my toes must never suffer!) So, my point is that I don’t get to Green T regularly anymore, and maybe that’s why I have been so let down when I have gone in recently. And now I’m giving up on the place.
Every time out of the last 5 times I have gone in throughout the last year or so, they have not had anytime to take me. This is your standard walk-​in nail salon, or at least it once was. But not so much anymore. And I would be happy to wait for 30 minutes or so, but they just tell me no and smile. Which leads me to my only other complaint about this place, it can be very hard to communicate with the girls in the shop. This includes the owner that either speaks very very little english, or isn’t confident in vocalizing what she knows. Usually there is one person that can handle that role, but not so much at the place. It’s just been really disappointing that they have turned my business away so many times now when I was there so often for so long. But I can hardly complain in good faith because they are doing well and are busy. They do a good job! Just make an appointment first, especially Monday-​Wednesday during the weekly deal.

i like the parking, and most of the time they’ll accomodate me if i just walk in w/​out an appt but it’s pretty cool there. I’ve only been there twice but i liked it there the 1^st time i came cuz they were quick and clean! the second time, the person working on me hardly said a word to me! hahaha oh well!

When i got my nails done here I was very satisfied with my nails. They made sure my cuticles where cut clean, and the polish was layed evenly. I highly recommend this place for mani and pedis.

I went here to get my nails done for a wedding with my friend and her mom — I was the maid of the honor and my friend was the bride. I got a regular mani/​pedi and she got a french mani/​pedi.
The pedi came out very nicely and comparable to the salon I usually visit in the city. My only complaint is that I asked that my finger nails be shaped square and my thumb nail turned out looking a little too angled and not shaped too nicely. Other than that, I’d definitely go back to Green T Nails in MG if I need a mani/​pedi. They have nice hand and feet dryers and great service. The bride-to-be’s nails came out very beautiful with the french mani/​pedi and looked great during the wedding.
I’d definitely recommend Green T for anyone looking to get their nails done and a place with good service, amenities, and a variety of nail polish colors.

I’ve been here a few times and I have to say it’s one of the few nails salons that I’m a fan of. I’m not really loyal to one salon, and I tend to try different ones, but I have to say that I find myself visiting this one more than others. It’s very clean, they have a great selection of colors, and they have comfy chairs while you get your pedi done. They give your hands and feet mini massages and even put warm towels on before putting the polish on. Everyone there is really nice and very accommodating. They’ll carry your bag, shoes, etc to the drying area and will even take out your keys for you so you don’t mess up your newly done nails. They offer a Mon-​Wed deal where a mani/​pedi is only $ 30 which I think is a great deal! I’ve noticed that it tends to get busy in there during after work hours and weekends so I recommend making an appointment. I’m only giving four stars because of the few times I’ve gone, service can sometimes vary. I once felt like the girl was rushing because they were busy. I say, try different girls and find which one you like! Overall, great experience!
