A co worker and I went here today to get a ice cream cake for a co workers going away party. We picked out this delicious looking Reese blizzard ice cream cake. While we asked for that cake the person helping us said they didn’t have one made up but the manager came up to us and said he could frost it for us if we waited 5 minutes we said that would be perfect. As we were waiting someone came up to us and asked what we wanted to write in the cake. I asked if it came with writing and she said yes so I said to just put«all the best» on it. The manager comes out with a plain white cake with green frosting with«all the best» written on it. My coworker and I looked at each other with the look of what is this crap? We were running out of time at this point so took it back to the office pretty annoyed at this point. I called to ask why it wasn’t decorated like the picture had shown and the manager told me that someone asked if we wanted the candy or writing and we picked the writing. I then told him that we were never asked because we would have picked the candy. He then told me that he was the one that decorated it. Never once did he apologize for the miscommunication or the fact I was unhappy with the cake.

I ordered a large Butterfinger Blizzard. When I got home, and got past the top 1 – 2 inches of the Blizzard, it was nothing but soft serve ice cream. Very disappointing! I will not be going back! For the $ 4.50+ price I paid, I can buy the stuff and make my own at home!

Ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard with extra cookie dough and no chocolate syrup. When I got the blizzard it was melted & barely had any cookie dough. It was gross. I definitely didn’t get what i paid for.

I gladly pass up the 2 Dairy Queens that are closer to my home in Arlington to get my blizzard fix here! Stanwood and Marysville haven’t got anything on you, Mount Vernon!

I had a craving! A chocolate malt with a squirt of marshmallow. Something from my younger days I guess. I ordered a medium here and it came with a clear plastic cup and open dome lid. Whipped cream and cherry on top! Presentation…5 stars! The shake was a little thin but that made it easier to use the straw. First taste? Cherry! Seems the flavorings added were light enough that the maraschino cherry over whelmed the chocolate, malt, marshmallow and ice cream! Slightly disappointed that I did not get to taste my ingredients! Next time I will pay up and order an extra squirt of flavors. Please note, I shouldn’t need to!

It’s a DQ. They’re generally the same. This DQ is no exception to the rule. So if you’re reading this, you’re either: 1. The owner. 2. One of the employees. 3. Or you’re from somewhere far away and have no idea what a Dairy Queen is. If you’re #1 or #2, then I tip my hat to you sirs and madams for providing exactly what I needed on my way back from Vancouver. If you’re #3, then I recommend you fly over here, go to a DQ and order a Butterfinger Blizzard. You won’t be sorry.

What can I say, I luv DQ, I mean…“In the land of Dairy Queen, we treat you right!” Typical fast-food stuff. Chicken strips here are some of the best for a FF place. The real treat is the DQ soft serve, YUM! Dilly bars by the box full if you so desire… Staff here is a bit faster than most FF places, and they do the best with what they have.
