Definitely ask for Lauren Bristol. She a hair wizard and has it down to a science. She’s the only one I trust in Nashville with my hair and has corrected any mistakes I’ve done to myself. Not to mention, she makes you feel comfortable and awesome.

I love Juel and the staff! Jana colors my hair beautifully with balayage and Patience uses the DevaCurl technique for my cuts. I always enjoy my appointments. The staff spoils me but the vibe is casual and relaxing. The one thing I love is Jana’s willingness to do whatever we decide would be fun for my hair each visit and she makes it work with her schedule. This is the only salon I’ve been to where you get your hair DONE, whatever it needs. They are experts and know how to structure their time to accommodate all clients with love and extraordinary service!

This is the salon with the trendy modern look and decorations that treats you like family or a long lost friend.
From the beginning, they are all about working with you to give you a relaxing and fun experience (yes that includes alcoholic drinks with your session).
Oh and little known secret is that a lot of the stylists here usually work on their celebrities of Nashville moonlighting and this is their day job, so you will absolutely get the absolutely stunning effort and the highest reaches of professionalism. Yes — even if you think there is that can be done with your hair, they will find a way to make it be better, the way you like it too.
Oh and they take their time to give you TLC in this place instead of a rush job. My stylist really paid major attention to detail with my cut and shaping. Oh and all and all the pricing is actually an amazing deal given the quality that you are getting.

This salon has a way about it that makes you feel as if you belong! It gets rid of the snooty, elitist attitude that many salons exude and makes you comfortable so you can sit back and enjoy getting pampered.
The salon owner, is energetic and you can feel her passion, which is infectious! The stylist are helpful and sweet! They also look the part! Like walking in, you look at the stylist and want each one of their outfits/​hairstyles/​haircolors/​shoes/​eyebrows/​etc! One of my biggest pet peeves of a salon is when you walk in and hope you don’t get paired with some of the stylists because they look a bit scary! This salon doesn’t have any of that! I could easily go to every one of the stylist at this salon and know I would end up looking great!!!
The salon has a beautiful space and is conveniently located in Elliston Place so after your pampering, you have loads of places to go show off your new look! Can’t wait to need something so I can go here!

Being a redhead became much easier once I met Leslie @ Juel! Reds are really hard to get right, and Leslie nails it; I never have to worry if it will be artificial looking. She turns my drab and dull dark brown hair into a natural looking copper-​red with such ease, like it’s nothing; but I know it’s not. I have run through many stylists before meeting Leslie who just got it close to what I hoped for. At Juel, I don’t have to worry.
So excited that this Elliston location opened in Nashville which is much closer to home. I frequent both this one and the one in Franklin depending on my and Leslie’s schedule.
Same amazing stylists at both locations. The owner, Johnna is so nice too.
The Nashville location has more of a boutique salon feel, compared to the larger location in Franklin, but I quite like it being a little cozier.
Another side note, the chairs at the wash bowl stations are the best I have ever seen. I know that sounds like a weird comment, but all the other salons I have been to (even top ones in Chicago when I lived there) have the chairs where your neck is bent back and it’s so uncomfortable. Juel’s chairs are level with the bowl and I can enjoy my scalp massage and not feel the pain of contorting my neck wondering when will this be over. I quite enjoy laying in the bowl, relaxing.

Steven Lhamon is incredible. He’s got a great eye and does amazing things with my hair. Everybody should go see him!!! Bonus– this awesome talent works in a beautiful salon. Winning!!!

Emily cut my hair today and she was fantastic. I especially appreciated her meticulous trimming of each layer of my long locks. The only bummer is that she was the only stylist in the whole salon working today, so walk-​ins had to wait for her to finish with my appointment first. Regardless, Emily didn’t rush. I was in the chair for almost two hours — Much longer than I had anticipated during my lunch break, but it certainly was relaxing. Especially with all the peace & quiet. I am used to the hustle and bustle of busy salons with dozens of customers sitting in the waiting room and under hair dryers. However, it is a bit intimidating when you are the only customer and there is only one stylist option available. I would have felt more comfortable in a salon with a more lively atmosphere. I was disappointed that haircuts were advertised as $ 45+ but my simple cut was apparently $ 60+ without tip. I even brought in a flyer I received in the mail that said I would get a free gift for trying this salon and all I got was a small shampoo/​conditioner sample, like the ones that come attached to magazines. I would have much rather appreciated $ 10 off my cut.

I have had some less than comfortable encounters with salons in the past so needless to say I was pretty nervous about how my visit would go, boy I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with my experience at Juel Salon! From the time you walk in you are warmly greeted by the most adorable Assistants and the salon itself is gorgeous! I was seated very briefly which gave me time t soak up all the buzz around me and I tell you there was not one unhappy customer in the whole place. Everyone is smiling and laughing and enjoying themselves, the stylists are super friendly and encouraging and incredibly knowledgeable! My visit was with Patience and she was amazing, her attention to detail with my needy natural curls was unlike any treatment I’ve had before and the advice and enthusiasm of their Diva Curl specialist just had me floating on clouds by the time I left! It was an exceptional visit and I left feeling flawless! Thank you all so much, I will definitely be back and be bringing everyone I know!
