I had bad burns from an IPL treatment done here. During the treatment, I was worried about how badly it was hurting and repeatedly asked the nurse if she should lower the settings, but she assured me this was «normal». The result was blistering 2^nd degree burns on my my neck and chest that took several weeks to heal. The nurse and the doctor were dismissive of my burns and never called to check on me despite knowing about my outcome. I will not be returning due to the poor customer service and incompetence of the staff.

I was referred to SkinMD for a wart removal. After the freezing treatment proved unsuccessful, they decided to remove the wart. During the removal, the nurse practitioner cut herself and me (not close to the wart) by accident. Six weeks after having the wart removed it was obvious the removal was not successful. The edges of the wart were missed and had grown larger. To make things worse, their only advice was to return to the doctor who referred me there in the first place. I would expect them to take ownership and not refer me back to an unsuccessful doctor. Two weeks later, I got a bill for the treatment that simply caused pain and was unsuccessful. After calling and talking to them, they told me their policy is to charge the client for the work done and have no guarantees on outcomes. I would understand that policy if it involved some complicated medical procedure, but not a basic procedure of getting a wart removed. I cannot express my frustration enough and would strongly advice anyone from seeking treatment at SkinMD.

$ 868.66 out of pocket (with insurance) to get a single mole removed. Office argumentative and unhelpful with request to charge a reasonable amount for services rendered.
Stay away unless you have money to burn.

I have been a customer for years. I just had a peel for $ 300.00 and it did NO THING. I had a flake or two. I usually do a VI Peel and great results but was told the more expensive peel would peel much deeper. I was told to come back for another peel. When I got there they were going to charge me again. I own a business and it one of my customers is not pleased I take care of it. There are soooo many facial clinics in town and even better prices. They did not loose just my facial & expensive injections business but also my son and husband!!! NOT AT ALL A WAY TO TREAT A GOOD CUSTOMER. AND I ALWAYS TIPPED VERY WELL!

Whenever I have dermatological issues, I make my way to SkinMD! The staff is conversational and knowledgeable. When you have skin issues, it is quite a self esteem blow. I appreciate some humor with a pinch of sensitivity in addition to professionalism. Appointments are made, confirmed and they always take me in early if they can. Most visits are brief but I never feel overlooked. The office is clean with a decent selection on magazines. Do they have cosmetic services? Yes!
