The restaurant chain offers uniformly poor service at all the stores I’ve visited. Servers rush back and forth and tend to not notice patrons. Pity — the food is pretty decent

I’ve been a long time fan of the food and beverages served by LPQ at their locations all over the city. And for just about as long I have been irritated at their steadfast refusal to hire sufficient waitstaff. This location is no exception. My daughter and I dropped by for brunch a few days ago and we loved, loved, loved it. My Cobb Salad was delicious and enormous — I brought home half the salad for lunch the next day. Their drip coffee is far from the best but they make up for it with wonderful espresso drinks — I had a caffe latte. And my daughter very much enjoyed her curry chicken tartine and hot chocolate. As always the problem is service — over 20 minutes elapsed between being ‘done’ and getting the salad boxed and check signed. No matter how hardworking, polite, and efficient the waitstaff — and they were — two girls for 80 seats is just never going to work.

I love the to-go section with all the baked goods and beverages. Croissants are superb as well as coffee and cookies! The sit down restaurant part is fairly expensive…

chicken cobb salad and a tasty lemon ginger honey tea was the perfect combo for a cold winter day. it can get super noisy during peak hours and getting someone to take your food order can be a wait. the kitchen moves fast once the order is in. there is an upstairs seating area also available.

Love this place! Great food and friendly waitstaff. Despite this being a crowded area for lunch, there was little wait to sit and it was still enjoyable. Lots of people sitting and eating while reading or relaxing which is nice to see. Definitely recommend if looking for healthy and casual lunch spot!

I met a friend for a catch up brunch today. We had a nice time catching up, but our service wasn’t so great… This isn’t the first time I have had bad service at a Le Pain local… It started when We were seated all the way in the back next to the register and dish trays. It became very disturbing, hearing dishes and silverware being thrown into bins. Along with all servers talking to each other. It took about 20 mins for us to get water and our tea. This happened after we asked for it about 3x… Finally a server came to take our order. Not a hard order. Our food took an awfully long time to come out, about 30mins. We order a frittata and brunch sampler. Nothing too complicated. When the order came out the frittata was wrong. It came out with gluten free bread not the crackers like I had asked for, The salad was a few pieces of lettuce and nothing else and the dressing was wrong. I sent it back and the 2nd time around it wasn’t much better. Finally I got a decent amount of greens, the crackers and right dressing. The food is always good at le pain that is why I continue to go back. However, the service is always slow and not 100%.

In the city for the Columbus Day Parade, passed this sharp looking, all glass window, corner location. I was not familiar with the chain and later learned that they have a ton of locations scattered throughout the city. So to me, it seemed like a quaint, country French patisserie. which it is… incredible looking baked goods, great selection of teas and coffee drinks. I had a Moroccan mint that seemed to be made for them as the boxes for sale had their personal logo on them. Although I didn’t have anything to eat, my dad had a pastry and said it was excellent. later on they start to serve soups and salads etc and even later in the day I believe it becomes a wine bar… maybe wine and cheese. I loved the decour… big, long, communal farm tables and lots of beautiful wood and country decoration that gave it a warm and homey feeling, upscale and not cheesy. I look forward to returning again. So much more enjoyable that a Starbucks.

I am a HUGE fan of this chain and was thrilled to find one close to the hotel. I love the fact most items are organic and healthy. The coffee is delicious and their baked good are hard to beat. I highly recommend the pumpkin muffin and quinoa scone. It’s a great place to eat-in or take-out from.

The place is very nice and quaint!!! The food is fresh and made daily. The décor is very rustic. The pastries are delish, fresh, and decadent. The salads are very delicious and flavorful. I tried the chicken cobb salad and it was very nice. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The salad was worth my trip and subsequent trips after. So I’ll be coming back.

I was searching for a place to get a bagel. And upon searching for ‘bagel’, it showed me this place. Which has bagel as the first item mentioned in the description of the store. Unfortunately, when I got there on a Sunday morning, they had no bagels. And it seems they don’t make any. Hope the business or Unilocal will make the correction. Very good french styled bakery.

Contrary u to others I found the service here today A MAZING I was checked on by 3 people if I need anything they accommodated me to sit in quiet area took care of some extra stuff like above and beyond good service here! I like to stick to permanent menu and stay away from seasonal stuff because it could be too out there. Tip. Stay away from the kelp noodles salad close vile. Had quinoa salad and chickpea soup. Absolutely delicious and again it was brought out not only that but they also asked me if I read or if I want water and like I said I had several other people come up to me and asked me if everything’s good I needed anything out it was just superb service today so maybe they took note of the other because I am absolutely loving it and feeling very well taken care of and I’m not a person to give five stars easy.

Food was alright, service is quite bad. Its one of those places where after you put in the order you get absolutely no further service. It took 15 minutes to get water, christ. We also asked a waiter who wasn’t our official waiter about 8 min into the wait and nothing happened woo. We both got lox & bread & egg, the bread sides were as hard as rocks it was insane which was a shame because the lox were quite good. They give a ton of crème cheese as if you were going to the chair afterwards. Just a meh meal for 15 bucks, not worth it at all, throw that in with the unattentive waiter, 2 stars.

My first visit to Le Pain Quotidien was for a Baby Shower in February in the lower level event space. They allowed one of my friends to decorate the room with adorable pink decorations. The room was nicely lit and food presentation was perfect and fit the tea time theme. The croissant sandwiches and other baked goods were delicious. The tea was soothing and some of the best I’ve had a in a while. The biggest shoutout goes to Peter and the rest of the staff that helped the shower flow smoothly. Very accommodating and quick to refill the mimosas and assist in other areas. Great place for tea and snacks or even a Baby Shower!

As with any LPQ in the city, the quality of food is consistent and good. But depending on when you go, service can be quite slow. I was craving a chai latte, so when it came i was quite disappointment. It was so watery and flavorless that I thought I was at Dunkin Donuts. My husband said his pot of coffee was also blah! Not a great way to start out morning However their jam scone was very good, moist and Jammie(is that a word?). It came with a side of whipped butter but it should be used sparingly or it’ll mask the flavor of the scone and jam. Our croissant was ofcourse flaky and buttery and totally heavenly.

-. Ça a l’air équilibré, copieux et plutôt bon !
