The lady there was very helpful! For months I was looking for a belt to match my wedding dress! It was a destination wedding and I was days from leaving. She quickly look through every option until she created the perfect belt that suited my dress within my budget! Soooo worth the wait!

I came in with a very general idea about how I wanted my dress to «feel» but no real knowledge of gown design. I didn’t want to end up with a flouncy or heavily embellished dress, but I did want it to feel special and elegant. The dressmakers listened carefully and patiently and helped steer me in the right direction, offering plenty of guidance without being pushy or overwhelming me with choices. My wedding dress was an absolute dream — a gorgeous silhouette, beautiful high-​quality fabric, perfectly tailored, and special but still completely «me.» They even helped me decide my accessories and shoes. I can’t recommend them highly enough — their experience and knowledge really show, and their work is worth every penny. I am still getting notes from my wedding guests asking about my gown. This shop is the gold standard for wedding dresses as far as I’m concerned! Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

I was just about desperate when I went to Paula Varsalona. After searching for months for a beautiful, classic, elegant mother of the bride dress that didn’t look like a mother of the bride dress, I happened into this wonderful site. Other stores were pushy and only seemed interested in upping the price and always saying things looked great when it might not have been the case. Paula, Sue and her staff are genuinely interested in making you feel good. They are wonderful, patient people who happen to be real pros. The fabrics are gorgeous and and tailoring impeccable. They take pride in their work as well. After I selected a dress because I loved the fabric they customized it to make it more my perfect dress. it was one of a kind and which is a great relief that you won’t see someone else wearing your dress at the event. Many guests at my daughter’s wedding mentioned how beautiful my dress was and were eager to find out where I purchased it. I never write reviews, but they made the experience so special for me that I felt that it was important. A real find!

Paula is AMAZING! She works with you and knows her business. The tailoring at the shop is impeccable and they are the sweetest!
After visiting over 15 other boutiques and stores, Paula stood out. They don’t rush you or push you, and are wonderful to be around. I personally bought my dress here and also send my friends!

STOP! Don’t go anywhere else, stay away from all the big your just a number salons. Such personal service. My daugther and I had a wonderful experience. Paula was just great in helping to pick out the gown. How great to have Paula herself help with the selection.

I didn’t get a chance to meet Paula herself, but the seamstress who helped me was extremely nice. They seemed very open to customization and nothing was set in stone. All dresses are made and altered on site, to the best of my knowledge, and they also sell all sample gowns on the floor at a heavy discount. I didn’t end up buying my dress here, but I was pleased with the service except for the fact that they don’t allow you to take pictures. The selection wasn’t huge, but they had some very beautiful gowns.

I purchased THE most beautiful wedding gown here. Both Paula and her seamstress were fabulous and were excellent about dealing with both my mother and I (not an easy task, I can assure you). They custom made the gown for me and it was worth every penny. I would have rated them with 5 stars except that they forgot to put my blusher veil in with my dress. Luckily I was able to use part of my other veil as a blusher. When my sis is ready to tie the knot I will be back for my maid of honor dress.
