As my father always said to always eat Chinese food where you first had it. I had it first in China town at a place called north dumpling. Super
I got chicken and broccoli which was pretty good. the pork dumplings had very dry dough on them and the pork tasted fake. Sadly. I hate giving bad reviews but that night I wasn’t looking for something amazing I was just straight out hungry

Up until this weekend, I would have given Sing Luck a big old 4 or 5 star review. In the past, I’ve had a great experience both ordering to go and getting delivery. Their food is fresh and delicious, their service is friendly, their timing is speedy and their cost is super low.
However, the owners of this spot recently opened another restaurant, and since they’ve been there they have not found someone as capable to fill in taking orders. This weekend, I placed a large order for delivery and it was read back to me properly. I was told that the wait would be 20 – 25 min… over an hour later we were still waiting. When our food arrived, one large item was missing. I immediately called back to explain the issue and see if they could drop the missing food by, but the person who answered the phone spoke little to no English. Now, I do not think speaking English is necessary for working in a restaurant, but it is if you are going to be taking orders in English. She eventually hung up on me and I had to run out to get our food and explain in person. They immediately realized what had been missing. I requested a partial refund and after a little haggling they gave me $ 5 back. I would think that a partial refund would be a common courtesy after the long wait, the missing food and the confusing phone call.
Normally, I would not plan to return to a place after such poor service. That said, they’ve been so good in the past they get one more chance. I hope to be updating this review with a more positive rating soon!

This is one of the best take-​out places in Harlem. I usually stop by twice a week for the past two years and the food has always been good. The best part is they are very accomodating regarding my requirements (spice, veggies).
The cook and very competent and the staff is courteous and friendly. And also trilingual. This place needs more business for the excellent service they provide. I live nearby and they deliver pretty fast.
Recommend: Hunan chicken (spicy), Shrimp with garlic sauce, fried shrimp (21)

The wait was forever, almost an hour. The food was definitely not worth the wait, the chicken dumplings tasted and smelled rancid and the boneless ribs had barley and BBQ sauce on them, talking about cheap. Then i called them the next day to tell then about the horrible dumplings and the lady basically told me it was too late I should have called last night and hung up on me, how rude. I received bad food from them in the past, but said let me give them another chance and was disappointed yet again. Will never order food from them again, nasty food and poor customer service, and have the nerve to deliver with a min of $ 10. So save your money and go to Silver Palace at 3438 Broadway bet 139^th & 140^th Street, they have great food with a grade A.

Delivery orders are very SLOW. The best Chinese option around the neighborhood.

Pretty good chinese restaurant in w. harlem. The customer service is really good there, the owner recognizes me everytime I go in there and I don’t go that often. The steamed dumpling, gen tsao and teriaki chicken are all really good. Worth a shot.

This restaurant is the reason I automatically throw away any other chinese restaurant menu that is slid under my door.
Their DELIVERY is quick as in QUICK. Sequence: you order, shower, your door buzzer goes off… and my order has never been wrong, always been hot, great portions and has always been tasty. And the lunch special is everyday from 11:30 — 3… could be 4… including Saturday and Sunday.

This is a local spot. I’m giving it 4 stars because locally it’s the best place I’ve found. I mostly order General Tso’s Chicken. I like it fried a little crispy and without too much sauce. They get it right 75% of the time. The rest of the places don’t get it right. Generous portions, low prices, fast service. If you’re ordering Chinese delivery in Hamilton Heights, this is the place.

The best Chinese food in the area. They are fast and clean. The only Chinese res to get a A Grade in the area. The guy that takes your order knows Spanish as well, that a plus due to the area they operate from. I will definitely keep going to Sing.
