Decided to give this place another try after. Went here for business dinner and our waiter was on point. Their strawberry lemonade is to die for ! It was so yummy. I had pork brisket and it was fantastic! It came with the best garlic mashed potatoes I have ever eaten and sauted kale which was good.

Been here twice now based on strong recommendations but I haven’t been too impressed. I WANT to like it better. Service is friendly and attentive, wine selection is good, coffee is good, but the dishes I’ve had were all disappointing. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong things? Maybe I’ve watched too much Kitchen Nightmares? I could almost hear Chef Ramsey complaining. House Salad was okay. Cheese Tortellini was in a very salty, oily sauce. Chicken Rosemary was also in a salty, oily sauce(maybe the same sauce with a little bit of rosemary in it?) and the chicken tasted microwaved. Mashed potatoes were not delicious. Everything sounds so good in the menu’s description but then it comes and… Meh. I’ll probably try again though.

My experience here is not good. Unwilling to work with me with my food allergies. When asked to talk with a manager, our waiter refused. If you come here, doing expect good service, mostly for what you are paying. Go elsewhere.

Great lunch! My mom had a delicious special and I had the warm spinach salad. Great homemade bread and delicious coffee. The service was excellent. Ive had the pizza here in the past and it was good too. They have a nice wine selection as well and the atmosphere is inviting.

Three stars because the staff was great both times I’ve been. If I’m in North Bend for a few days, this will be a place to stop. If I’m in North Bend for a night, I’m going elsewhere. It’s bland at best.

We just took my mom out for her birthday, she had never been to this restraunt before and we enjoyed seeing her pleased reaction at your delicious food. We were provided with a free«no flour chocolate torte» for her birthday. Wich she chose to share and we all found it delicious. Every person helping us was very friendly and informative. I was most impressed by one of the waitresses giving my mom a hug and wishing her happy birthday before we left. Having recently moved from Coos bay ourselves it is my pleasure to pass on, your service is competitive with Eugene, we have never had service like that my whole life in Coos Bay and was amazed at the friendliness in our new home. We will defiantly be back when we visit town.

I can’t tell you about dinner because once I saw the dessert menu I decided I’d been sensible my entire life and opted for the Napoleon with strawberries and other decadent stuff. It was simply sinfully delicious. The coffee was superb and the wait staff excellent going above and beyond.

This was my 1st Italian/Pizza in the Coos. I had the Seafood Bisque and the(10″) Margarita pizza. My Bride had a salad and Pepperoni pizza. The seafood bisque was yummy and full of flavor. However, its not very fulfilling to the belly.(thats not a complaint just a heads up) The soup has very tiny size shrimp in it… My pizza was very good and not too salty like some places. The ingredients tasted fresh and cooked completely. The service was nothing to complain or rave about… Just above average. Overall it was a good experience and Ill go back again.

I have been here for dinner several times and enjoyed it. It’s your typical pasta type restaurant. But I just recently went for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised with the yummy quiche and delicious coffee. I’ll be back for sure!

Walked down here from the hotel up the street. Came here based on the reviews. Nice restaurant, nice décor and friendly staff. Salmon on the special was very good. Pasta marinara was above average and pasta Alfredo was just average and a little too cheesy. They do have a number of brick oven pizzas which looked and smelled great. Only a couple of beers on tap, a local and Lagunitas. Lots of bottle beers, many local. Not a lot of choices in town and if you want a better than average Italian meal this is it.

I and a colleague were in town on business and found this place on Unilocal which, as you can see from my rating, was yet another great find. I wish I could tell you what I had but, it was a pasta plate I’ve never heard of before and I couldn’t find it on several travel site menu postings(and they weren’t open when I called a few minutes before this posting). That said, it was seashell type pasta(but an atypical non flour type) in a creamy gorgonzola sauce with shaved almonds. Absolutely delicious! I wasn’t very hungry when we arrived due to some bad business meeting timing but, I ate every last bit and dabbed my finger in what little sauce was left. Some garlic bread for that purpose would have been heavenly. As far as my colleague, he too had a pasta meal with sausage added. It looked great, he said it was great, but, I was kind of focused on other things at the time(see above).

Roomie and I enjoyed a lunch here today. He got the special which was a pizza sandwich with steak inside. He loved it and even had leftovers. I had the Alfredo with chicken added. Not to shabby. The pasta was buttery and the chicken was well cooked. I also got a strawberry lemonade. Very club soda and ginger ale kind of mix. Wasn’t what I was expecting but not to bad. The pricing was adequate. We’d probably go there again. Good customer service too!

The Gem of North Bend!!! I had the pleasure of eating here over the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting my family. It’s a FANTASTIC restaurant! Not just good by Oregon Coast standards… Good by super GOOD restaurants standards! Try the Seafood Bisque to start. Maybe the best I’ve ever had! Caesar Salad, awesome! We tried the wood fired pizza and multiple pasta dishes. Highlights included the Curry Prawns, seared sea scallops, and the pork. Be sure to try the coffee shop next door if you’re here during the day! HIGHLYRECOMMENDED!!!

Both the cheese tortellini and the pesto pasta were rich and creamy; however, the pesto did benefit from the addition of some salt. My mother and I shared a prosciutto & arugula pizza to start, which was delicious and paired well with the Rivers Edge Pinot Noir & the Château St. Michelle Cab. Good service & cute décor make this a nice spot to eat and drink while being friendly to families and other parties alike.

Looks like Benetti’s has some competition! Ciccarelli’s is a great addition to the Food Scence(not much of one) on the Southern Oregon Coast. While in Coos Bay working, my family and I decided to come here for lunch after we learned that Benetti’s only does lunch during Monday-Friday(which they’re going to stop doing all together). We showed up around 1pm and found a table. The restaurant itself is nice. It’s attached to a coffee shop on one side, and dining on the other. They have plenty of room at this place. Their banquet room is able to hold up to 40 people, which is impressive! For lunch, my wife and I decided on ordering the Gorgonzola Chicken and Goat Cheese Bruschetta. The bruschetta was good. It was a bit rich with the amount of goat cheese that was on the bread, however the sweet taste of the basil and balsalmic vinegar offset the earth taste of the cheese. It was placed on a toasted baguette, and I thought it was great. It’s about $ 7 for 4 pieces, however i would’ve have been able to eat more than 2, so it was the right portion. The Gorgonzola Chicken was another, rich, tasty entrée. I think I would’ve been able to finish it all at once if it was topped with Gorgonzola Crumbles, however the cheese was turned into a sauce and mixed in with the noodles. The Gorgonzola was VERY pronounced, and it did help to take a bite of the green apples slices that were served with the dish. Chicken was cooked quite tender, yet not a lot of flavor. The cheese and apples made up for that however. They have a great selection of wines and brews. They had 22’s of Oaskhire IPA, and Hop Valley’s Alpha Centauri… WINNING! Our waitress, Tina was a pleasure. She was kind and very attentive. She took time to sing the«Tigger Song» since my daughter was talking about Tig, and even drew a dragon when my daughter was trying to draw a cow. There’s nothing wrong with being personable! We appreciated her kindness with our child, and her service as well. We were very happy with Ciccareli’s and we’ll be back the next time we visit the Bay.
