Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar – Northglenn

The host and servers were all less than pleasant. We actually wrote them a note on the receipt to let them know how inappropriately rude they were to us. The food was worse than the service in my opinion. The fried pickles were some of the saltiest things I have ever eaten, I couldn’t even finish them. Drinks were decent though.

Service was god awful. Been in the business myself so it really agitated me. Food was served lukewarm, probably because it took 40 minutes. Medium well burger for 40 minutes? No way man. Didn’t know they killed the cows on sight! (JK) I must’ve just been in on an off day because the reviews are all positive, which shocked me. Maybe I will try again in the far future.

Long wait to be seated but our food didn’t take too long to get to us when we ordered, especially with how packed the place was. I liked all the options they have for building your own burger.
Had to give it three stars because the burgers were pretty expensive and they weren’t really anything special. My boyfriend said the burgers I make were better and I could make several for what we spent here. Unfortunately, we probably won’t be coming here again.

I’m not a burger fan. I like them occasionally. I am new to the area and I Unilocaled good places to eat around here and this one won. I went in around lunch time on a Thursday and was seated right away in a booth (I asked for one). The waitress was awesome and nice and explained things to me on the menu. I was so hungry so everything actually looked good but I got the southern burger. I can’t remember the name but it was basically their chilli burger. I had decent hopes because, like I said, I’m not a big burger fan so it’s rare that I like burgers. Five guys was pretty good, but I still don’t really care about them. Have to be in the mood.
My food came out and it looked pretty good. So, I got a tater tot (my side) and dipped in the chili and oh my god… I was in heaven. So I cut in to the burger to make sure it was well done. I can’t eat any red meat if it’s red or pink. And it was well done, thank god cause I’m hungry and so far this is dang good. I cut a piece of the burger off and oh my god it was SO GOOD! I sometimes don’t like burgers cause the meat is flavorless and any slight taste of meat grosses me out. Like if it just taste like raw meat or whatever. Every single friggin bite was amazing! I was full when I left but my goodness, did I want more! I almost wanna go back for dinner! I can’t wait to try the other burgers now! So glad I just got a place near this joint!

We came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and we sat upstairs. When I first arrived (I was the late comer), I was greeted by the server asking what I would like to drink. We then had to flag down our server to place our food order. I ordered a bowl of their red chili and my husband and I shared a hamburger. The burger was cooked to how we wanted with all our toppings including cheese, bacon, and peanut butter!
After we ate, we still had to flag people down to get boxes for our food and to order my friend his birthday milkshake. We also had to flag people down for our checks.
The food was good, but the service was not the best and they were not that busy upstairs. I think I watched the bartender and both servers just chatting behind the bar for 10 min while we waited for our check (this was before we had to ask for our checks).

Busy day but I was able to be seated at the bar right away. Took a while for the bartender to acknowledge me but she was very friendly and answered all my questions and was happy to make recommendations. Got the Elvis Shake… DELICIOUS! Made not having enough room to finish my meal worth it! Got the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids and it was AWESOME. That was the best bacon I have ever had and it was loaded with it. The burger was huge. The tater tots were also really good with lots of seasoning. The manager came by once to check and make sure everything was good.

Did not disappoint!
Started with the chicken nachos — the pineapple added amazing flavor! Kiddos had plain olé chicken strips and fries — no complaints from them! I had the veggie burger than comes topped with avocado — delish! I ordered mine grilled (also comes fried) and it melted in my mouth! Had a side of tots that were everything you’d hope tots to be — crispy, salty and tasty! My husband had the burger topped with egg and barely came up for air until half way done with the burger! Our other dinner mate ordered the smokehouse burger and it was cooked to perfection.
Only one gripe… waiter was super slow on drinks, which is a no no with a salty menu!

The name says it all. The food is great, the service is what you expect from a burger joint and the beer not too bad. I come here to get fatter, full and hoping my wife will let me get lucky after she drinks beer.

I have eaten here several times with always an exceptionally good experience. It’s about a ½ hour drive, but if you want the best burger it’s certainly worth it! On this occasion I ordered the Bad Ass Burger. It was free because I joined their e-​club. Thank you! I added onion straws and it had tremendous flavor. The 10oz patty really helped to divide the different flavors of the burger and everything on it tasted great! It is just too darn big for me to eat alone so I split the order with my wife and we devoured it! When going to a restaurant I always pay close attention to the wait staff and where the Manager is. In this case there were two Managers on the floor and both stopped by our table at different times to check on us. Had some enjoyable conversation, and thanked him. I have tried both Cherry Creek and here but am prone to this location. It’s an equal distance from home but can be sure parking is always available because of the strip mall location. Love the «Bad Daddy» theme with all the photos, awesome staff and Management team! I’ll continue to make the drive not only for the awesome food, but also because I leave with the feeling that I enjoyed an «Experience»! Thanks Bad Daddy’s!

We started out with fried pickles and they were great the portion was small probably best for two people. My husband and I ordered the Emilio’s chicken sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger on steroids. We probably could have shared an entrée and ordered our own side. Both were great and worth the price. The Parmesan truffle fries were also wonderful. We did wait for a while to get our food which was disappointing. We mentioned to our waiter that we were on a time crunch and had a plane to catch and after bringing our food brought out our ticket to sped up the process which was wonderful. Would definitely recommend Bad Daddy’s to anyone visiting the area!

This Bad Daddy was just as great as the DTC location from quality of food to service. I ended up getting the Emilio’s chicken sandwich and it was massive, but probably one of the most tasty and crispy chicken sandwiches I had ever had. The shakes are also great to pair with any of their meals. I highly recommend the garlic ketchup for your fries. The staff was very friendly and even though I had to wait 45 minutes for a table, it was well worth it!

Yum!!! This place is super yummy. You can get what you want off their regular menu OR create your own burger (with multiple meat/​non-​meat choices) or create your own salad. I picked create your own salad! It was soooo good. I got spinach (you pick between romaine, spinach or mixed greens), black beans, corn (which was actually good corn!), red peppers, red onions, tortilla strips, avocado ranch for dressing, and added a black bean burger patty. Oh my gosh it was phenomenal!
I do not recommend getting their «giant» size though because their «small» was more than enough food especially with the addition of the black bean patty, SO filling! I got a side of sweet potato fries… DELICIOUS! I don’t like my sweet potatoes with marshmallow sauce and brown sugar, these were just served salted… perfect!
All their sauces are spot on! I tried chipotle ranch and «bad daddy sauce» which is bbq sauce, ranch, & chipotle peppers… so tasty.
Will definitely be back! Love that you can customize anything and everything tastes like quality and a clean kitchen. Bravo!

When a turkey burger can make you feel like you’re eating a decadent meal, you know you’ve found a place that know how burgers of any meat should be done. Seriously, turkey burger, brie and baked apples. How do you NOT drool over that?
The beer selection was pretty good, with lots of local craft choices and the staff was very friendly, if not overly social between themselves. The rooftop area was really beautiful and the seating was pretty ample.
The only barrier preventing me from coming back here soon is the fact that it’s in Northglenn, which is a pretty far drive for me to make to get a good burger.

Awesome burgers, fast friendly service. Gotta try the fried pickles it’s worth the trip there! Great for large parties and gatherings! I was a bit tipsy when I ordered but I remember it was delicious!

I have been back several times and the service has improved immensely and the burgers are the best. I love this place!

I’ve been to Bad Daddy’s several times now. The appeal for me is the ability to build my own burger/​sandwich or salad. There are a lot of choices, which I like. The turkey burger was not good. The texture was awful. It was more like turkey paste, not at all solid like a burger. I’m not sure what kind of quality meat they use but I can make a much better turkey burger at home. I stick to the grilled chicken now. My husband usually gets beef but loves their fried chicken sandwich.
There are several buns to choose from
including a gluten free version and a lettuce wrap. They have a very large variety of spreads including my favorites, bacon mayo and parmesan spread. Including some very interesting toppings that cost a little extra: bacon, jalapeño bacon, buttermilk deep fried bacon, pastrami, egg, fried onion strings, etc. I’ve had the onion strings and I don’t think they’re as good as what you can get at Red Robin. They also don’t give you very much avocado, considering it’s 75 cents to add and I can buy a whole avocado for a dollar at the grocery store.
They also have a few different sides to choose from. The fries and tater tots are great. They’re especially good with a side of Bad Daddy’s sauce (homemade BBQ with a kick). Bad Daddy’s also has a house beer for only $ 3 that my husband loves. He’s also a fan of the apricot beer. We will continue to come here as long as the quality continues. It’s a great place to go if you’re picky and want to create your own meal.

Terrific, satisfying burgers, according to my hubby & son. Find a specialty one on the menu or build your own from a wide variety of options. For those wanting something lighter and healthier, choose the build your own salad option, which what I did. Lots of choices to ensure you can create the perfect salad for your taste!
This restaurant is on the pricier side for a burger joint, but the food was good and fresh. When building your salad you can add up to 7 non-​protein toppings which is a fair amount. I chose avocado, chickpeas, cucumber, blueberries, strawberries, tortilla strips, and feta cheese w/​balsamic vinaigrette on the side. My salad was delicious, though I would have loved a few more blueberries & strawberries on it. The feta was the perfect amount.
For sides, the coleslaw was kind of boring and lacking in flavor, so next time my husband would opt for the fries instead.
Service was prompt and friendly.
There are lots of restaurant choices in the immediate area, but Big Daddy’s is worth the stop for a good meal.

The burgers here are good, they’re not great. They have good flavor and the meat tastes fresh and semi juicy. T got the bacon cheeseburger on steroids. The burger is huge with lots of bacon. LOTS. We also got wings, sliders and green chile tots. I created my own salad. The side salad was actually pretty big. The sliders were a let down. Very dry and bland. Can’t go wrong with green chile or tots.
First time here was for my broham’s birthday. We reserved the rooftop for a small party. It was crowded and things got hectic and the servers mixed up or forgot or messed up a few orders, but nothing major. There were a lot of us and we kept moving around and hey — they say all asians look alike, right? Haha. Service at other times I’ve been here have been decent. No complaints. A got the bacon cheeseburger on steroids — but a double — and with buttermilk fried bacon. It should be called the heart attack burger. I built my own burger with bacon, cheese and a fried egg. I remember it being a pretty regular tasting burger.
4 stars is more for the venue and the atmosphere. It’s a cool spot with the bar vibe and I love the rooftop on a nice day. Food would get 3 stars.

If you’re on the prowl for a 5 star burger joint look no further. These guys have the full package.
A full menu of amazing burgers that are crazy-​creative, wicked salads and I can’t even tell you about the things they do with bacon. Then then there’s the beer list, loaded up with local colorado brews and then throw in some awesome original cocktails for good luck. Did I mention their shakes?!
All of this comes together under one roof (unless you are on the rooftop patio) with an extraordinary staff and good tunes. This makes the 5 star experience.
Try the Sam I Am and a Southern Hospitalitea, you won’t be disappointed! Also check out their happy hour specials, go late happy hour starts at 8.
On a serious note they totally swung and missed on my burger, manager came out and agreed. He bought my burger and expedited a replacement then gave me a free burger on my next visit. We all make mistakes but these guys know how to make it right!
