TJ Maxx

This is the best TJ Maxx around; they’re not all the same! This one always has a great selection, including designer options.
You’ll need at least an hour to see everything and to try on!
In addition, there is a fantastic Home Goods next door.
As with all TJ Maxx buildings, this one is consistently dusty, especially in the fitting room. But it IS a discount store, so it’s never going to be perfect.
Another negative here is the parking; it can be really tough. Don’t be picky — take the first space you can get!

I hate to say but I am addicted to name brand bags… This TJ Maxx has soooo many to choose from. I go in about once every 2 weeks and the stock is completely different than the previous trip. IF YOU LIKE SOMETHING, you had better buy it then as it will be sold! Fantastic selection from all the famous name brands… the BIG NAMES TOO. Just bought a bag with the «little bow» on the front. Original tag said $ 168. I got it for $ 69.99. SWEEEEET. My husband hates when I go in there… as it costs him…

Love this TJ Maxx/​Home Goods and I make a trip here at least twice a month. They have a great handbag section and I’ve bought several Michael Kors bags here (at great prices!) that get lots of compliments! I even scored a MK iPhone wristlet here for $ 40 for a Chrsitmas gift for one of my nieces. Great prices! Another fav area is the beauty/​bath care aisle where I’ve bought Philosophy, Crabtree & Evelyn, and salon shampoos at more than half off. You definitley have to check in often as they frequently put out new merchandise. It’s hit or miss but when you score it’s awesome! The shoe dept. is just fair. I’ve got much better finds at Marshall’s for shoes. As a previous poster noted the parking lot here is a nightmare. You can drive around for 20 min. looking for a spot close to the store. Do yourself a favor and park in the Hannaford lot and just walk. You’ll save alot of time that way. Happy bargain hunting!

This is my favorite TJX, even though they are all awesome. The norwell location is large and has a great jewelry section. Great purse section as well. Ton of runway stuff and high end brands, not that that interests me at all, but it’s a section that not all TJX/Marshall’s have. I knocked a star off for the shoe section though. I always find better shoes at Marshall’s for some reason!

I have to say, every time I enter a TJ Maxx, I’m pleasantly surprised. The stores are usually very clean and organized and fairly easy to navigate, which is important in a large department store with lots of mark downs. I can’t handle clearance or blow-​out sales at normal stores solely because of the disorganization that occurs when people rummage through the bins and racks of sale items. Anyway, TJ Maxx never feels disorganized, yet always has the discount prices and broad selection of items. I ran in to see if they sold iPhone car chargers, and lo and behold they sold a few different types, including one for $ 10 that works great. Can’t complain. I also love their check-​out line, with automated vocal messages and lights telling you which register is open. I love efficiency.
Between the two, I would always choose TJ Maxx over Marshall’s, just as I always choose Target over Walmart.

Giant, enormous, big, big, big. This case and other’s (another time) bigger is not better. But if you’re in Norwell come on down you must be bored stiff.

This particular TJ Maxx store is worth stopping in when you have some time to spare. You’ll notice it’s in a strip mall with a grocery store and a Home Goods off two busy roads. So getting in and out of here is half the battle. Trying to find a place to park is another battle. The chances of you finding a spot closest to the doors is slim to none, so don’t block others from driving up and down the aisle. Park in the first spot you see and you’ll still get in the store faster than the idiot idling in the aisle.
Now on to the good stuff … This location has the best selection for a TJ Maxx compared to the other stores I’ve visited. YES, their selection varies frequently, YES things may look picked over, but if you are patient to search the racks piece by piece… YES you will find an amazing deal from an amazing brand. As in, the $ 288 Tahari sequined dress I snagged for $ 60. To all you non math nerds, that’s 80% off! Hubs scored a heavy duty Columbia snow coat for 75% off. As with everything, it takes some patience and timing. DON’T come here on a Saturday afternoon expecting to find just what you want in just your size. DON’T come here with high expectations! Stop in on a Wednesday after dinner and you may be surprised.
Their shoe selection is very hit or miss and you’ll often find last seasons fashions. However, you can still find a pair of Kate Spade pumps for 50% off. Their handbag selection is quite expansive and it seems they always have an ample selection of Michael Kors bags.
Extremely clean and well-​lit dressing rooms along with a reasonable return policy; but no, I am not returning my Tahari sequin dress!

This is by far my favorite TJ Maxx. The prices here are always fantastic and they have the runway section of ultra designer brands. Best part is their sister store Homegoods is right next door!

This store features an area called «The Runway Collection», aka the goldmine of designer clothes which is the source of the majority of my wardrobe. Joe’s Jeans, See By Chloe, Catherine Malandrino… I justify all my purchases by rationalization; all the tags feature 2 prices-​the actual (sometimes shockingly low) price and the price you WOULD have paid outside TJMaxx… so no matter how much I spend I always know I’m gettin away with murder.

I agree. The stuff they have here is amazing. The TJ Maxx’s and Marshall’s in Southern California are hideous compared to this place. They had such a large selection of high end at greatly discounted price. You have to check it out.
