Don’t go here. Food took forever and it was not good at all.

OK. The name is a little misleading, but just to make things clear here: they serve Indian and Chinese food. Though their strength is Indian. Labor Day weekend and the place was a little busy. I was with a group of 8, and the food came out within 15 minutes. The good thing about this place is that you pay at the counter when you order, and the food is brought to your table. Nothing better than eating some delicious Paneer Tikka Masala and walking right out with a worry in the world. The place could use some renovations and better food quality but overall better than OK Indian food for a cheap price. My favorite food is Indian food so I am not as generous with my stars which is why I am giving them two ½ stars.

Horrible service. Don’t know how to talk with customers. Didn’t even wanted to order food after crappy«gentleman» was rude on the phone.

Stopped here a few times with my friends after a night of adult beverages. Twice they stayed open later to serve us with some delicious foods. In an area littered with pizza and Italian food this place offers a late night change that is solid.

If you want to eat Indian food, then don’t go to this place. First, the food was yukksss. Me and my friends ordered whatever Indian dishes they cook, and not even a single dish is good enough to get finish. Second, they don’t have silverware, will give you cheap plastic fork and knife which are good for nothing. Lastly, i didn’t tried the Chinese dishes but i read the reviews and found that those dishes are also not good. So I don’t find any reason to go at this place.

My friends were curious to try Indian food for the first time so I took them here despite some of the reviews I had read and my apparent apprehension. Between all of us we ordered the goat biriyani, chicken biriyani, chicken korma, and a few other dishes I can’t recall. The chicken korma, which I tasted although it wasn’t mine, I thought was very good and had a really nice flavor to it. The chicken biriyani, which I ordered, I did not like much and found it to be soggy. It seemed either too much water was added to make the rice or all of the water did not boil off. My friends however all really liked it, which makes me wonder if that warrants a higher grade. Unfortunately since I am a bit more well-versed in this cuisine I’m going to have to go with experience here and give the rating myself. It wasn’t a bad experience though. The service was good although you had to pay first, which makes it seem less like a dine-in restaurant. The food overall wasn’t even so bad. I forgot to add that my mango lassi was good. However, I do feel that the food, particularly the biriyani, does not represent higher-tier Indian food based on my experience. In any case it wasn’t a horrible experience especially for my first time friends.

I kinda understand why they have 2.5 stars on Unilocal now. After an entire road trip from New York to the Southern states, I was seriously craving Chinese food so decided to stop here since this was our last stop before heading back. I didn’t even mind the smell of old oil, sticky floors, and non-authentic Chinese food. Walked in and three waitresses looked at us without saying anything, and basically ran away before I could say anything. So I saw people lining up on the other side of the restaurant, walked over and stood in line for a whole 10 minutes without the line moving at all. I was pretty confused and decided to ask a waitress, but none of the 5 waitresses even looked me in the eye. After a while, an older waitress walked over and said in a condescending tone, «can I help you?» I asked for a table of 3, and she pointed at the line, and without a word, left. Rude, unhelpful, and put me off of my appetite. Stay away from this place… there are so many other choices in Ocean City!!!

I ordered take out and like what some of the comments said, it was flavorless and bland, the egg rolls and spring rolls were so soaked in oil and it tasted like the vegetables inside had spoiled. either that or they didn’t change out their oil. it’s just a really bad place to eat. Best advice, if a Chinese restaurant is cooked by Indian people it’s not authentic Chinese.

On a strip dominated with bad pizza, crabs and subs, this place stood out for being different. We stopped by one night craving something that wasn’t a crab, bad pizza or a sub. We ordered a few indian dishes from their menu and they were great! The Chicken Tikka Masala came in a very flavorful thick sauce and the Lamb Vindaloo came in a delicious spicy sauce sauce both meats were properly cooked and were full of flavor. The meals were served with properly cooked white rice and we ordered a garlic naan to go with it(which felt more like a flat garlic knot than naan, but it was still good). I would strongly recommend that anyone who enjoys indian food or would like to try something new, check this place out. I was pleasantly surprised especially for someone who has tried a lot of indian food across the globe.

If there was a negative star rating this place would get it. The food was so terrible the kids wouldn’t even eat the sweet and sour chicken. The so called chicken was so small it must have been minced into the batter. The same could almost be said for the General Taos chicken. The noodles had no flavor at all. We had to feed the kids after spending over $ 40 on this meal. We eat Asian food all the time and some places are better than others but this place should is absolutely terrible.

We were in the mood for Chinese but we saw that it has Indian cuisine too and usually we avoid places that have mixture of cuisines. We went in and majority of the cooks are white. Usually we would leave the place but we were starving so we ordered Chinese food anyway. We should have stayed with our gut feeling. We did a take out so when we got home. We had the crab Rangoon but without sauce. It usually comes in a red sauce. I didn’t enjoy the crab Rangoon bc it was mostly fried and the meat part wasn’t much. We ordered chicken with rice. They put so much veggies in it and we hardly had chicken. The husband got sick from the food and spent most of the time at the toilet. We will not go there again.

Not sure about the other reviews here but we like Asian garden! Really like their General Tao Shrimp. Good food at an average price. No complaints. Friendly staff. We always get carryout so we have no review for eating there.

Pros: N/A Cons: Food swims in MSG, oil, salt, etc. Portions sizes are small. Incompetent waitstaff can’t even bring the proper set of utensils.

I have to write this review because of the crappy unbelievable meal I received when visiting Ocean City. A little background first, I went to Ocean City during the week in June with my friend for her birthday, she unfortunately got ill and we were bound to stay in the hotel we were at for the night. I thought that we should order out and have food delivered because I was hungry and she might get hungry in the middle of the night. Long story short I ordered food from this shitty place, I ordered chicken Lo Mein and asked for the meal to be extra spicy. When it arrived all I got was noodles, no chicken and definitely no spice. I was so angry I tried calling them but they were already closed. The food I did get tasted like garbage anyway so I guess I lucked out that I didn’t have to taste their chicken. Do not ever try this place if your end up in Ocean City, there are so many other great places to go, this place is pure trash and i’d give it no stars if I could.

The guys and I were driving along the main strip when we saw Asian garden. Since we had been craving Chinese, we decided to stop in. They do both take out and dine in; the dining room is pretty average with a diner type set up and various Asian décor. I personally was not impressed with my food. The fried rice was bland while the chicken and broccoli was just okay. The guys scarfed down their general tso’s chicken and Indian dishes so take it for what it’s worth. It’s fine if you happen to be nearby, but I don’t know that I’d return.

We ordered the house special prawn lo mein. The food was ok, nothing I would go back for. The tables were a little dirty. I think this is more of a takeout place rather than eat in. they charge extra for pepper sauce, but gave us a few packets of hot sauce for free.

Indian/Chinese/nepalese food… a very small restaurant so I would recommend a takeout. One of those«hole in the wall» places that you want to stop on your way home from work.

Not bad overall. Seemed pretty typical of Chinese carry-out restaurants.
