Rox Beach Weddings

Ours was a comparatively «last minute» wedding, planned only 3 months in advance of our date. We found Sean and Cassandra to be great to work with, and our wedding went off very smoothly. They helped to guide us with getting the necessary paperwork for an out-​of-​state wedding (we’re from Maryland, but we married in Delaware).
We would definitely recommend them.

Rox Beach Weddings is a wonderful wedding planning company run by the husband and wife team of Sean and Cassandra Rox. I found them to be professional, helpful and extremely reliable while planning my big day in Ocean City, MD. They go out of their way to make sure that your event is stress free and amazing. I would definitely recommend this company, especially to those planning a destination wedding who are not familiar with Ocean City.

We originally decided to go with Rox because it appeared to be the only choice for an easy beach wedding in OC. Rox and his wife are nice enough, but for someone out of town not very helpful. They will not make any suggestions and provide little guidance. They want your money and are not very flexible. We wanted to make some adjustments to the package 6 months before the wedding and they wanted to charge us exorbitant fees for the adjustment. We really just did not want to use their photographers after looking further at the quailty of the pictures online. We decided to walk away from this company and our deposit rather than feeling like we were being held hostage by an inflexible company that thinks they are the only game in town. Guess what I found someone else!

Once we decided on Ocean City for a wedding location, we found Rox Beach Weddings. We were so excited. However, our experience with Rox was less than good. Something seemed off whenever we called them for questions; however, they happily took our deposit with no contract. After a few discussions with them, we realized they were not the right folks for us. With many months in advance, we requested to cancel their services and our deposit refunded. They wanted to argue rather than work through a solution, which confirmed our decision. We are not happy about losing the money, but are very happy we realized they are not the right folks for us sooner rather than later
