Purchased a groupon to check them out as I haven’t been there in years. The only highlight was the busboy. He took my order poured my drink and cleared my plate. The waiter showed up to give me my bill as the bb couldn’t figure out how to use groupon. Food: I ordered chicken Parmesan which was very greasy, and sparse on the portion. Expensive even with groupon. I don’t plan on going back. Too many other great places

Dominic’s has the best Italian food around! The owners Dominic and his son Tore are the best. They provided excellent hospitality during my stay and made me feel super welcome. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend the penne vodka. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Love the clam chowder. Sounds weird for an italian restaurant, but it’s so good. The pasta and pizza is good too. This is a casual, family owned restaurant with friendly service. Big menu with lots of choices make it good for families and large groups.

One of the ways I judge a place is by how they treat their Groupon customers and this place passed with flying colors. The food is really good and the service was friendly and attentive. It was a cold, dreary night, but the view inside the restaurant was still nice. Good place to take the family.

The restaurant is right on the water with a view of ocean and boats docked at the harbor. I ordered a savory crêpe dish for the first time it was wonderful. I ate every drop. My husband ordered chicken Alfredo with a side of roasted vegatables. The vegetables were perfect.

The best clam chowder & it comes with homemade breadsticks! We love to find Copperidge White Zinfandel and it is the perfect accompaniment to the extensive menu. There are several family dishes with the expected surf and turf, pasta and pizza. We are definitely coming back! ! Too full this time to enjoy a gelatto/several flavors and proper cappuccino.

I first discovered this place with a groupon about a year ago, we dined next door though at the Wine bar. This time we tried the restaurant side, and it was just A OK. The area is gorgeous with a view of the water. It has indoor, or patio seating. We sat inside. There were two other tables and one waitress for all of them. I wandered into the wine bar side when we were waiting for service and a man asked me what I was doing in there. I was looking at what was on tap vs. the local brews posted on the board. He said go look at the board if you want a beer. I took that as a polite get out of here. I went back to my table and ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and fries for 11 dollars. It was good, but not 11 dollars for a lunch good. The part I had a hard time with was the service. I was a little taken a back about the beer list, not that he was rude. I ordered an IPA off the list since my stella was«not cold enough to serve» OKay… the waitress came by once. I asked her for a refill of water. It never came. She was not even around and it was only us and one other table so I was confused. I finished my beer instead then the check came. The IPAWAS8.50!!! The stella I really wanted had been priced at 4.50 so I feel like it was a bait and switch, I dont even pay that much for beer at breweries! So its A OK. I would much rather pick one of the other places with decent prices for the location from now on.

Wish we had gone to Olive Garden instead! Fettuccini Alfredo sauce was very thin and a small portion. Lacked presentation. No offer to refill garlic breadsticks. Rather cold, stark interior. We won’t be back…

Really good pizza. Our service from Tore was fantastic. Complimentary breadsticks tasted great. Crème Brûlée was a great finish to the night. P. S. The pizza warmed up very well for lunch the next day.

Small little place, had mixed feeling about trying this place at first but I’m glad we tried it. I had a spicy sauce pasta with chicken plate that I would recommend trying. Despite being such a small place they were busy on Valentine’s Day and service was great. Would consider going back if I happen to be in Oceanside again.

Overpriced, bland food. slow, unprofessional service. Our pastas were underseasoned and lacked olive oil, making them severely bland. Pizza toppings were sparse and tiny. And on their meat lovers pizza, the meats on top were hard and dry, difficult to choke down. Also waits for food are much longer than average. Last visit, our server spent the entire time flirting with women at another table. We were ignored, empty drinks weren’t refilled, bread sticks were brought as an afterthought, and his assistant did nothing to help. How does this place stay open? When even Olive Garden has better food and service. Skip it.

We took our two teenagers on 1÷3÷16 and had a great experience. The staff is super friendly. We enjoyed chatting with the GM, Tore. They promptly brought warm bread and took our order. My son wanted a kids size of fettuccini Alfredo, which they kindly accommodated. We ordered a large calzone and order of pasta rustica, along with a dinner salad for the three of to share. It was all delicious, and we had leftovers of everything that we had for lunch the next day.

Ordered chicken Fantasia. Amazing meal!!! Had dish during two different visits. Very consistent. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and the chicken was crispy and juicy. Full of flavor. Great choice of draft beers. Fresh baked breadsticks. Service from Yadira our server and Gary was on right on spot. Prices were great, especially for quality of food. Restaurant very clean with nice atmosphere. Above gives five stars!!! Being on the harbor major bonus!!!

We came here about 3 weeks ago, it was our first time here. I really wasn’t impressed at all. We order a bunch of food and appetizers because we were starving, one of which being the bruchetta and it was so drenched in balsamic none of us could even eat it. The rest of the food was average, not worth the price for me. My main issue was the service. Our waiter never came to check on our drinks or if we liked the food, which he never delivered, I felt bad because I had to keep flagging down different servers to try and get a refill or an extra fork. I don’t think we will be back, not with fratellis being around the area…

Servers are very friendly and personable. Food is the issue. I was extremely disappointed in the lobster bisque that had no lobster chunks in it, the clam chowder that really was stretched thin with vegetables such as carrots and celery pieces. Definitely disappointed since there are many places in the area that have clam chowder one would hope that at the harbor they would really be able to do this right. On a positive note: they do have some great beers on tap! Between the servers and the beers it bumped it up a star… We used a Groupon and I am glad we didn’t end up paying full price.

I am so appreciative of Dominic and his staff for taking such great care of my family at a recent event. We were able to book the wine bar section of the restaurant on very short notice for a large group. They made everything so easy for us! Once our party arrived, they took fantastic care of us and the food was so, so good. The calamari was great, and the meatballs… oh my goodness! We don’t live in the area, but can’t wait to visit again where Dominic’s will be at the top of our list.

This Italian restaurant on the harbor boasts a large menu selection. They also have a couple of gluten free options. The waiter was knowledgeable to let us know that though they have gluten free options, it the food is prepared along with gluten containing foods, so not safe for celiacs, but for people with some gluten sensitivity. Luckily we are not celiacs so this was not a problem for us. The portions were quite generous and the meals were tasty. They have a kids menu as well. The décor was a bit dated but the service was very good. My salmon was slightly undercooked in the center and I had no problem getting it cooked a bit more. There is outdoor seat with a view of the harbor. We sat indoors though since it was a bit chilly that night.

Meatlovers pizza! Perfectly balanced with meat and crust is amazing! Chicken Caesar was ok. Not enough flavor, had too much dressing for me and the lettuce seemed warm :(, Cheese Ravioli with meat sauce! Yum!!! I want to learn how they make their sauce! And Meatball Sandwich with fries! My son is very picky with his meatball sandwiches and it was a hit! The busser was awesome! Service was good.

Waitress needs to be in the kitchen. Not pleasant at all. When asked which IPA they carry she told me to go look at the chalkboard. Chalkboard appeared to be written several days ago and was at the front door. I was already seated. We should have left when we saw all of the dirty tables on the Patio. Which is where we were seated, surprisingly none of those tables were cleared while we were there. We ordered and food was served cold. Waitress was missing in action and once returned said«wanna another beer» Table next to us asked for some sauce for their pasta she responded no I can bring you some butter. My friend ordered another beer, they were out of the beer she was drinking and waitress said you can just order what she had, the #8 it taste the same! One was IPA one was Hoppy. We left irritated that we had ruined out lunch! We will not be back!

Get the Calzone!!! We got it with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms. Soooo Yum !!! Calamari Fritti was cooked very lightly and it was good. The Alfredo was bland, it was just like just cream and noodles. It lacked salt and parmesan cheese. Clam chowder was good, never had it with carrots before but it didn’t hinder to the taste. Use the groupon they have online.

I’ve been here so many times that it’s definitely pulling a chair up to my family’s homemade cooking & let me tell you, STOP going to Olive Garden or those fake Italian American restaurants because they will NEVER compare to here. I’ve been doing this Slow Carb diet(gotta look good for summer) & you would think Italian food would be off limits! The menu has expanded and I see they added gluten free menu items, which was perfect for my friend and I! Since we got displaced from the fires, the simplest solution was to unwind with glasses of red wine by the beach. Our appetizer was Antipasto Italiano and was delicious. Apparently the breadsticks were a little cold, but it’s homemade bread, so once you dunk it in the sweet warm marinara sauce, it adds another dimension! Dinner was fabulous like usual: Salmon Salad, Eggplant Parmesan, & Chicken with Roasted Vegetables. I swear I have yummie dreams just about those vegetables! Always cooked to perfection! Dessert was Tiramisu and Chocolate Gelato! This tiramisu will literally be on my menu on my every single cheat day! This stuff isn’t the crap from Buca or other wanna be Italian places! Dominic is a real Sicilian and knows his way around the kitchen just like real Italians do! Always eating, always partying, and always drinking! Dislike was a few of the new waitresses/waiters were a bit oblivious when it came to actually delivering the food to the tables and felt like I had to hound them down for a refill on my iced tea, but our actual waiter at the table was FANTASTICANDFUNNY! Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu!
