Sherry has been my family’s hairstylist since we moved to the city of Orange, CA. First, she is a good and decent person. Second, she listens to what we want. Third, when we don’t really know exactly how we want our hair done – that’s more Me as my son definitely knows what he wants and so do my wife and girl – she reads our/​my preference and recommends, describing exactly what she means. It is stressful to have to adjust to different hairstylists. With Sherry, we’ve hit our comfort zone. Sherry has become a good family friend.

Sherry does great work! Been coming here for over 4 years and love her work! She is great with kids and does amazing color and highlights! I get compliments all the time! Always busy and still makes time to make sure you love your hair. She will try her hardest to fit you in. Sometimes skipping her breaks just for her customers. Great lady, great stylist and great place! Men and children welcome too!

If you come to this salon it is because you’re here for your stylist NOT the salon itself.
You walk into a lobby of dusty shelves, a mish mash of 2 dozen brands of a hair products scattered disordely, chipping fake fruit, and kitschy plastic peeling statues. It looks like one of those knock-​off 99 cents stores. Cluttered, not classy.
If the owner simply took 2 hours to clean up the front, take down half of the products, niche to 2 or 3 brands of products and remove the tacky décor it would make the front look clean, welcoming and feng shui.
A hair salon is a place where people go to be pampered and feel endulgeant. This is not the vibe here.

I have been going to Sherry for about 4 years now. I recently moved to Pasadena and am willing to drive an hour both ways to continue to see her. She is great with color and bleach and I love the way she cuts my hair. I can’t see myself going anywhere else. I am a very happy customer!

I love Sherry! She is fantastic. She has done my hair several times and I always walk away satisfied. Her prices are reasonable as well. This go around, I got my highlights and a trim. It took a few hours, but she takes her time and does it right. I get great compliments on my hair after every appointment.

I have been going to Sherry since she opened her shop and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Well, I did once, as I had to get my hair colored and cut for a party and she was not available for a last minute request, and then the next day I had to come back to have her redo everything the «famous chain» did to my head the day before. Never again. Sherry is great with suggesting what will work with my features, and, since I like to experiment with stuff that may or may not be in my best interest, I value her expertise and opinion.
I’ve also gone there to get my permanent makeup/​tattoos done by Ambar, who is really good at what she does and repeated the process several times over several months until it was exactly what I wanted, which also corrected prior work from over 20 years ago.
Jackie has done both facial waxing and threading for my furry face, and I am thrilled with the results. Haven’t tried a facial yet, but it’s on my list.
On a final note, every person that works at Venus is just so darn NICE! They are all experienced professionals who take great pride in their work, and the results speak volumes. I have referred friends and family to Venus and they have been as pleased as I have.

I’ve been going here for a year now. Sherry always listens, and gives the best advice. She fixed up a horrible cut job I had, and gave great tips in how to keep my hair healthy. She is sweet, kinda, and helpful. I definitely recommend this place. Both my boyfriend and I attend and receive awesome stylish cuts from Sherry.

Finally found my own haircut place. Reasonable price. Great service very accommodating.

Horrible customer service. After calling ahead to confirm availability, we arrived and sat there ignored (with the stylist 5 feet away) because the stylist was too busy chit chatting about make-​up with a friend. We walked out and she never bothered to say a word.

Never had a worse bang trim… bummer. Bang trim turned into 1−½″ cut off just like that! Yikes! Will definitely NOT be going back or recommending.

I used to drive to Irvine to do my hair but thanks god I found Venus salon when I was going to the nail place near by. The salon was almost closing at 7 pm but sherry waited and gave me a great hair style. I came back to color my hair and cut and I couldn’t be happier with the service, she did exactly what i want. She is very professional and very nice lady. I will continue going to her.

I absolutely love sherry she is so wonderful and always does an amazing job I went from bleached blond to now back to my brown hair and it looks fantastic!!! I would totally recommend going to her!!!

If you say what you want, she will actually listen, which is more than can be said for some places around here. Really great job and I would recommend it.

Went here after a very bad «box» dye. Cherie was amazing. She was able to fix and dye my hair to an amazing color. I’ve been to Regis in the mall and they turned my brown hair request into a gothic black. I highly recommend this place!
