Tried closing my tab here and was waiting at the bar with not a single bartender in sight. I’m pretty patient so I didn’t mind for the first few minutes but then it started to get ridiculous when I was waiting for quite a while and my friends needed to leave. Finally, a girl appeared! I thought I was saved but she ignored me and went straight to her phone to text. Tried getting her attention by saying«excuse me!» but she kept texting. When my friend tried shouting louder, she kept texting… …and raised a hand to flick us off. Yep, you read that right. This employees text messages were more important than a paying customer. I understand that she was probably a bar back but she could have at least grabbed a bartender for us(there were still none around). I’m sorry to the bartender who received a dismal tip from me, but in no world am I giving more of my money to a place that thinks it’s okay to flick off and disrespect their customers. And to the girl who flicked us off… I hope your text was worth this bad review, losing business and costing your co-worker their tip.

This place is so awesome! I’ve only been on Fridays and Saturdays, and you pay a $ 5.00 cover to get in. Once you’re inside, all of the games are free, except for some of the fancy up-to-date video game systems. They have an awesome craft beer selection… Crooked Can Domestic Bliss for $ 5.00! There’s tons of arcade games to play, some of my favorite being Off Road, the pinball machine and two person shooter game that makes me out of breath, but is sooo addicting and fun! I also love then when you’re ready to take a break you can either find a seat at the bar or in the booths they have and just relax or play a sit down video game… Mario Kart, anyone?! It you get there early enough in the evening, you can practically have the place to yourself which is awesome! It gets pretty crowded the later it gets and you can find yourself waiting in lines to play the games and have a hard time getting something at the bar.

$ 5 cover($ 3 for military) and a pretty good selection of games. No coins, everything’s included! For tables with consoles like SNES, N64, Sega, you need a tab open at the bar to rent. Also need a tab to play Smash(up to 8 players) or Mario Kart at the bar. Music was excellent! Played mainly 90s and some 80s the night I was there. Only downside is no food, but there’s more than enough food selection in the plaza it’s located at, and there’s re-entry.

First time here. Most everyone was cool. Though, the girl at the front was really rude. I didn’t know you had to be on a certain side of her stand to ask for controllers, so when I went on the wrong side, she told me to walk around and ask her again there. So I did, and then she told me she didn’t have the controllers. I mean, really?

Wishing I could be here every Friday night! For a few $ you have free access to just about any video games you can think of. I’d never been anywhere like this before and wish I could bring all my game-loving friends. There really is something for everyone — from brand new releases on the Wii U and Playstation, to Kinect multiplayer games, to retro arcade games that are probably older than you are. Be sure to arrive early to avoid crowds if there’s something specific you want to play! I don’t drink, but there is quite a good selection of craft beer and other drinks. Be aware that you do have to pay for bottled water, as there isn’t ice water available on tap. The bartenders are friendly and helpful, but understandably it can take a while to get served when the place is busy. Popcorn is available as a snack, but other food isn’t served here — drop by either the amazing Cuban place a few doors down, or pick up some Chinese takeaway from next door if you get hungry. **Be aware that if you don’t have a US driving license, you do need to bring your passport, as international driving licenses/IDs aren’t accepted.** You will not be allowed to enter if you’re under 21 or don’t have ID, unfortunately. I’ve always been fine downtown with my UK driving license; this is the first bar I’ve been to that declined it. Very important if you’re visiting from elsewhere! Also a must-visit if you’re staying in the LBV/Disney area and are sick of Disney, it’s very easy to spend hours in here!

I’m not sure how to start… The place has a lot of drinks that you can choose from and a bunch of different games that are set to freeplay(Big plus there but you do pay a small entrance fee still not bad) But some of the machines are either out of order or glitching where you can’t really play them, and the place is very compressed(If you are claustrophobic I would steer clear). I do like this place though, fun to hang out with friends and make some new ones, but there is room for improvment.

This place is so cool. It is super cheap to get in, they have service industry night for themepark employees, and an amazing selection of craft beer, and even Meade. The games are all free, and once you pay the cheap entry fee, it is free play all night. The games range from old-school to multiplayer newer game consoles. Every time I’m there I find a new favorite beer, and I’m not even really a beer person. The only complaint I have is the blonde bartender that is always there is completely unattentive and will leave you stranded at the bar staring at the wall for 10 minutes while she socializes with The other employees. She is also not very personable, so I’m not too sure why she would be bartending in this type of environment. Every time we go, she’s kind of like a turd in the punch bowl. And I really didn’t appreciate being overlooked for 10 minutes waiting for her to come over and then when she did, when a man walked right up to the bar, she totally skipped over me and went to him after watching me stand there for 10 minutes waiting for her. Other than that, it’s a very cool place to be. I wish that the dance and music video games had more isolated areas where you could hear the music better. But still, very cool place to be and a good idea for a place to take friends from out of town.

I liked the arcade and video game selection, most of which were free to pay with a small cover fee($ 3 for military!). What I loved even more was the craft beer selection. Everything I tried there was delicious. I did break one of their glasses because the glass holder I put my glass in wasn’t made for the glass I had but someone promptly came over to clean up the mess and didn’t make a fuss about it and they didn’t even make me pay. Great service.

My boyfriend and I love coming here for date night. They have my(rare) favorite drinks on tap and my boyfriend loves craft beer so it’s perfect for us! The only complaint I would have, that I am willing to deal with because we love the bar itself, is the rude bartenders. Every time we have gone they’re just not friendly. And this last time she sat there and talked to her friend for 5 mins about his girlfriend or something before she realized I had been staring at her, trying not to be rude and interrupt, but wanting to close my tab. I definitely recommend coming here because they have a great selection of drinks and the games are awesome, even for someone who isn’t really into the gaming scene, but just be ready to potentially have unfriendly bar tender ladies.

This place is definitely one of the first of its kind, and truly is a cool concept. Upon entrance, I paid a $ 5 cover fee which meant I got to play free arcade games for the night. The craft beer and arcade game selection is pretty impressive. The gaming prices are almost too reasonable, and for an additional $ 5 an hour, we rented a game to play on PS4. Now, the negative. The venue is just way too small for the gaming atmosphere it’s trying to create. All the arcade games are stacked together, with little to no space for anyone to watch or stand beside you if the place was more crowded. And, there’s not enough seating/space around the televisions that you rent the consoles on to truly enjoy it. I was side-by-side with people playing other consoles directly next to me, like we were all sitting on the same couch and had two TV’s next to each other. My friend had to sit on some stool while we played. It was also just way TOOHOT after being there for about an hour. It should be freezing in there for the amount of heat generating from all those machines, but it was at least 76 – 78 degrees. I’m in pretty good shape, and all I wanted to do after a while was get into my car and blast the AC. Lastly, I know some people might not care, but this place just doesn’t serve alcohol. If you’re only going to be a bar, you have to at least serve alcohol in my opinion. Maybe they don’t want to pay for the license, or maybe they just don’t want people drinking liquor and playing video games. Whatever the case is, there’s only so much craft beer one can drink. I’d probably stop by again, but only if I was in the area.

Overall, I was here before for a tournament and it was really cool. What I dislike about the place is that it’s just an arcade game place where it’s a bar and you have to be 21+. I understand the drinking age but atleast start banding/marking people who are the underage. It’s not that serious like even Dave n busters serve alcohol and allow underage people past midnight. But I mean it’s a good place if you want to get drunk and play bunch of arcade games & Xbox/Playstation games are available for rental. $ 5 cover with unlimited arcade games is a great deal too !

Pretty cool place! Brings me back memories to my childhood days… They have all classic games like street fighter, star wars, mortal combat, killer instincts, time crisis… Those arcades are included with the entrance fee. They even rent out games from Nintendo to now at days. Plus, they have a long list of craft beers, malt beers, all kinds of beer while you play!

5 $ cover but free video games but 5 $ beers are cool, stopped on my vacay and who doesn’t love a game of pac-man, Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede. Childhood nostalgia! Only thing missing is food… Hooters is nearby and another place who turned us away because they were too busy for the b-ball game.SMH. They have tons of brew!!!

Pretty sweet concept. Pros: tons of games, arcades, TVs for games, Beer bar. Overall great place for adults. Not reccomended for kids. Plus who needs to babysit when you get really into a game! Bring back childhood memories with arcade games like NFL Blitz, NBA Jamz, PacMan, Donkey Kong! Cons: if you dont drink it does NOT really cater to you. Example need to open a bar tab to rent games for consoles such as Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, super Nintendo and so on.(I don’t have this problem). Also most of the controllers don’t work properly or feel very sticker due to people Spillibg beers and such on them. Good thing they offer plenty hand sanitizers I’m a bit of a germaphobe Lol. Overall it was a good experience. General admission was 5 bucks for unlimited games. Hospitality night was on Tuesday so just 3. Everyone that works there is super nice and explains everything. Great place to go hang out with friends and drink. Recommended to try this place out!

O.k. I officially love this place! Located in large plaza right near entrance to Lake Buena Vista and Downtown Disney, this bar is a lot of fun! Came here on a Friday night with a friend and paid 5 dollar cover to get(small gift shop before you enter bar). Cover was well worth what you get inside! Video games galore and pinball too! From old school consoles housed with lounge areas around them to sit to arcade stand up machines that remind you of being a kid again! We came on a busy night, but still had plenty of time to play the machines we wanted to… best part is they’re all free!!! Theres lots of space in this bar to move around in. One complaint is only 2 small bathrooms. My friend told me on some nights you can have free reign because its not busy, however this night the bathrooms had a constant line. I loved some of the details in the décor… oversized video game characters hang from the ceiling, game info under glass at the bar to the 80’s esque neon bar logo. Definitely a fun place for a group or a date… interactive! Not the biggest fan of this tourist area, but this bar is worth a trip!

Giving this a one star because of the manager. Great place to hang out and have fun, but I am never coming back because of the service I got from the manager. I used to come every Friday after work to unwind from a long work week. Usually when I visit, I am taken care of from bartenders that are friendly. But the last two visits, I was taken care of by a heavy set women. When she first greeted me she gave me this look like she didn’t want me to be there. Being a person that came from the s.i. I brushed it off. I just thought to myself, maybe she’s having a bad day. So i thought nothing of it. Next Friday I came back as always cuz I love it there. And the same bartender took care of me, and same as last week she gave me some dirty looks. That’s when I started thinking to myself, «Wtf is wrong with me? Why do I always think people are giving me dirty looks. This person can’t obviously look like they hate the world for two weeks straight. So its gotta be you thinking negative.» So here I am thinking that its me being negative, and just like last week I brushed it off. Thinking nothing of it. So the next day I return with my friend to have some fun and it was still the same shitty attitude. But I didn’t pay any attention to it until my friend tried to pay for the bill. I see him looking for a bartender and the only available bartender was the heavy set bartender woman that is a manager. So I told him to ask her for the check, and he responded to me, «no i don’t want to ask her, she gives me dirty looks.» That’s when it hit me, its not me thinking negative, its the bad bartender that’s in a great video game bar trying to drive customers away. All in all, this wanna be bartender that doesn’t like people shouldn’t be in the service industry because she doesn’t like her life. And I hate the fact that she works there, because I love the place. And I will never return because she works there.

I have been to Player 1 about 10x now and with each time, i feel the service and overall establishment is just not for me. At first, it was very down to earth and a great environment for anyone and that kept me coming back. I was also obsessed with playing Halo with friends while relaxing but what is the point when most of the games are broken, it’s far too packed to get any console and it seems like they do not have a functioning A/C system. I understand the cover is $ 5 to play the Arcade but if you only go in for their beer/alcohol selection(since they do have a decent variety), i don’t find it fair to pay a cover charge. I’ve notice that happens often. In the end, i prefer to just stay home and invite friends to play board games than to continue to waste money going here.

This was the first Barcade I’ve ever been to, and ever since I’ve been hooked. This place caters to nerds of all types and ages with craft beer, wine, and an amazing selection of video games, ranging from old school to the most current consoles. The beer selection is quite good, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere engaging. If you’re looking for a fun night out, I would check this place out.

Holy Balls. Can you say flashback to 1985. This place is pretty damn cool. Lots of retro video games, old and new gaming consoles, and the best part. a bar! We came here early on a Friday night, so it wasn’t to packed. The décor is really cool, with lots of video game themed posters hanging all around. This place just has a fun feel to it. The best part is that all the video game cabinets are included with your $ 5 admission. I do think that you have to be a member to play the PS4’s and newer Xbox, but don’t quote me on that. The bar is a decent size and the bartender was super helpful and knowledgeable about all the craft beer that they sold. They have a very good selection on draught and several of them are rare. I will definitely be back, and possibly look into their membership.

I love this place! They have every game console imaginable and the older consoles have ROM’s so they have an extensive catalog of games. For newer consoles like PS4 and XBox, there is a bank of large flat screen tv’s and comfy gaming chairs in one area and you check out your game at the front desk. The cover charge is $ 5 and that gets you unlimited game play. There is one catch, this is a bar so they want you to drink while you play and there is a 2 drink per hour minimum. I didn’t see them enforcing that rule, but keep that in kind. They did have a nice selection of beer, both on tap and in a bottle. The bar keeps are nice and helpful, the decorations and vibe are exactly what you would want if you had a game room in your house. This is an adult establishment so no kids, and you must present ID when you enter.
