A lot of options. Fresh. Much better than a Subway. Atmosphere is upbeat and staff extremely friendly.

I’ve been a few times now and love this place. The guys are friendly, food is good quality and fresh. Love the frequent punch card and coupons from the local newspaper. Only complaint is they don’t stay open late enough. Will def be back.

We have lived less than a mile from Lenny’s for over a year, but never noticed it until we got some«valu pak» coupons in the mail. So glad we did! The subs, hot and cold, are tasty. At Jimmy John’s and Subway, the flavor of the bread is all that sticks in my mind. At Lenny’s i barely notice the bread — the flavor of the fillings is what stands out. I also like Lenny’s because the service is very friendly and the price just can’t be beat. We don’t eat a lot of fast food because it’s mostly so greasy and overprocessed, but these sandwiches meet my standards for quality. I don’t like to consume sugar, but someday I will give in and have a lemonade from the dispenser that reminds me of old-timey luncheon counters. For those who do enjoy sugar, the cookies are huge and my husband assures me they are very good.

I made my way into Lennys this evening wanting to try something different. I am currently on a diet and subs are a quick way to get protein and veggies after a long work day. I have been living on goodcents and subway for the last week and was hoping I could replace subway with something a little better. I tried the american club and I was not pleased, asked for mayo, spicy mustard, and extra oil and vinegar. To my disappointment the sandwich was so dry and unappetizing that I threw it away before eating a quarter of it, and instead went with the tried and true subway. The only reason this place gets two stars, is it is very clean, and the kids working there are super polite.

Sarah and I stopped into this place and tucked in with gusto. I had a very well made Philly Cheesesteak and Sarah had the Hot Dog… yes… the Hot Dog. Which was over one foot long and must have been a pound by itself. Both of them were amazing and I cannot wait to go back and have more wonderful things off of this menu.

This is one of my favorite lunch stops. The chicken sub is especially good because the quality of the meat is excellent. The subs are consistently good, the bread and toppings are fresh, the service is friendly and fast, and the restaurant is clean, with a TV and music playing. The available discounts also make Lenny’s a good value.

Lenny’s has the best subs in town. I love the hot pepper relish. I just remembered that they have 15″ sandwiches. They recently provided free WiFi so I can check my email while my kids are playing soccer.

Nothing too amazing about this sub shop, unfortunately. Everything on the menu is fresh, but the same thing could be found at a Planet Sub. They do seen to have great service – subs were brought to our table, and our trash was also taken by staff.

Have been a regular of this location for years. For a sub shop, it is hard to find fresher ingredients. Meat and cheese is shaved to order. Good Stuff. This post is to share a good customer experience. Was there this past Sunday and they apparently had a large group all arrive at the same time. So the order line and wait was a definitely much longer than normal. Not that it was the manager’s fault, but he proceeded to start giving free combo upgrades to those who ended up standing in line so long for their orders. Just thought it was a very good customer service move on his part. Something you don’t often see anymore. Made the wait seem a little more tolerable and was a nice way of thanking those customers for their patience. Thanks!

I wish Unilocal allowed for half stars because 3 seems a little low but 4 a touch high. I’ve been to Lenny’s a couple times now and I’ve been quite satisfied with my subs each time. They’ve got a good number of options, hot and cold, and most of them sound pretty good. So far I’ve had the meatball sub(good!) and hot italian(really tasty, going to be my go to sub at Lenny’s). The bread is nice and soft, the meats tasty and don’t seem cheap. The meatballs and sauce on that sub are pretty good. They have chips which finish the meal off nicely. They’ve got 3 sizes of subs so you have good options there. Basically, I’d put this ahead of Subway and Jimmy Johns when in the search for a sub shop. I’m sure there are some fancier sandwich shops out there and that’s something different. For inexpensive, satisfying subs, Lenny’s hits the mark. Bonus points: They have a reward program thing that earns you points toward a free sub. Seems like you could earn that free sub after 6+ trips or so, which doesn’t suck any.

I’ve eaten here on a few occassions. It’s just a typical sub shop(sandwich and chips) and kind of expensive. If you want something that will tantalize your taste buds go to Penn Station(sandwich and fresh cut fries) down the street.

Great Veggie sandwich! Perfect for a hot summer day. This location is always kept nice and clean and the sandwiches always tasty and prepared fresh and quickly. This is a place I come back to for cold sandwich.

Lenny’s is the best kept secret chain(i.e. on par with Chipotle) in town. Pretty much the opposite of Larry’s, Subway, Goodcents. Highlights: Club, Italian, Meatball, Buffalo Chicken Philly, BBQ Melt. Feature a veggie and Philly option too. Darn good bread/cheese. Coke joint :). Lenny’s has their own chips line that include baked. Also, the hot pepper relish will set you free. Be ready for a small wait, and a little higher prices than the competition. But you won’t be disappointed.

First time visit to Lenny’s subs, and will probably be the last. I’m not one who likes to write negatives reviews, but this place was just below average in every way. I feel for what we got we overpaid. My husband tried the cheesesteak sandwich. A regular was pretty small, and it was plain and not very well seasoned. I had an italian sub and also found it to be lacking in flavor of any kind. Ouch. The staff was nice and friendly, and for some reason the place was pretty busy when we were there. Maybe its the location? There are just so many places to get a better sandwich or cheesesteak, I don’t understand the big draw.

So after reading the reviews for Lenny’s, my boyfriend and I were pretty excited to check it out. It’s an average sub shop(and that’s being nice) that is extremely overpriced. I liked the bread… I was really soft. My boyfriend was not a fan of it for his hot Philly sandwich though. I feel as if we have made it our personal mission to try every possible Philly anywhere we go, and the one at Lenny’s has officially made the bottom of my list. Maybe it was just an off day, but the flavor was not something I’d ever eagerly taste again. I had an Italian sub. Meh? It was just ok. Like I said, the Unilocal hype of this place had me do excited to check it out. There are so many better sandwich shops to try, won’t be revisiting one that has sub-par flavor and portions for the price.

I love Lenny’s. I’ve been to this location about 4 times now, and I’ll have to say I like the 87th Street one better solely for the friendly people who work there. Not to say the service here is shabby, but 87th really lays down the red carpet for you. To the food. Subway and Goodcents ain’t got squat on Lenny’s. They pile on the meat like it’s liquidation day at a furniture store and they’re trying to get it all out the door. And their meats are such top quality! I love the roast beef. If you’re iffy about trying their hot pepper relish, get it on the side. It really revs up your sandwich! Honestly, once you try this place, you won’t go back to other subs. I’ve tried their hot sandwiches too, and they’re good, but I think you get more bang for your buck with the cold cuts. Hint: Try #6, the Deluxe Club — roast beef, turkey, and bacon heaven!
