Service extremely slow & they always forget something

The food was delicious!!! Fish was fried to perfection. The macaroni and cheese was the best I’ve had from a restaurant. The greens were definitely on point! We will be back

Great food but really surly serving staff. A million women behind the counter and they are all on their phone or talking to each other. No smiles and grunted greeting. I would come more often if they were friendly.

Review is based on 1 visit. Catfish dinner w/​2 sides and cornbread is $ 13 and some change. Not a horrible price and definitely more reasonable than the infamous Granny’s. The catfish was CRISPY on the outside (i was crunching, yall, yesss!) and VERY well-​seasoned! (I dare say it was going towards the «too salty» meter, so if your sensitive to salt it may be an issue — i like my salt so take that with a grain of… well you know). Yams were borderline too sweet. i was still eating them so they weren’t cloying, but yea, pretty damn sweet. The green beans and potato salad are spot on. The cornbread is good too, and I’m no real cornbread fan. Half and half (tea/​lemonade mix) reminds me of bein back in the city. Out of mac and cheese, but it was literally the end of the night, so understandable. Will be back to try more!

Ok, I’m changing my rating yet again. As of my most recent visit, I was pleased. The food was good. Keep it up!

I ordered a catfish dinner, which comes with 2 pieces of catfish, 2 side dishes and cornbread. I also ordered a slice of sweet potato pie and sweet tea. Total $ 20.72
The collard greens and candied yams were delicious! The cornbread and sweet potato pie were good too. The fish was okay. Make sure you dab a paper towel or napkin on the fish to get rid of some of the grease. The sweet tea was very good. So, overall the food was great. I can’t really speak on the customer service, but it appears they need an extra worker in the front. The staff was note rude, but not friendly either. For the price paid, I think the side dishes should be larger.
Note: This location is more of an ‘order carryout’ food shop versus a nice sit down restaurant. It looks clean inside. It is located in a small shopping center. Call your order in and then pick it up.

I live across the street from Georgia peach so coming here is mainly about convenience. First do not come here expecting to sit and eat. It is entirely to small and there are only about 3 tables that can barely seat two people. It is best to call your order in. Additionally, wait at least 30 minutes before going to pick up your order. I have been there only to stand around for 15 minutes awaiting my order. If your in a pinch and want to try their catfish feel free to come by.

The food is good. If you eat too much of it it become salty. The fish and the chicken is what I always order. I like the mashed potatoes/​gravy and string beans.

I feel like this place can be hit or miss. My first time here I was impressed with the food. Since then, I’ve had ok food at times or good at times. The catfish is good but I’ve had it where it was very greasy. The cornbread muffins tend to be baked too long and dry out. It can be pricey as well.

Not sure what’s going on with this place. My meal yesterday was trash. The only thing consistent and on point was the fried catfish. The mac n cheese and potato salad was horrible. The potato salad had the consistency of soup and was sweet. Very odd. The Mac and cheese had cheese on the top and the actual part with macaroni was gray and tasteless. Not only that I paid $ 20 for tiny portions. Again the fish was good and large pieces but 2 pieces of fish would still not be worth $ 20 even without the tiny portion of horrible sides. There is music blasting to the point that you can hardly hear your name being called. Seriously do better people. This is not my first go to place but I doubt if I will ever come back. I’d rather take the drive elsewhere. This was all bad.

Every time I’m in the area to visit my mom (and I mean EVERY.SINGLE.TIME) I have to hit up Georgia Peach. This is the place to get soul food.
Regardless of what you order, your food will be a nice portion size and taste like grandma’s best foot forward. Some complain about a wait, but it isn’t KFC. I think customers forget how long it takes to cook an entire batch of mac & cheese for an entire 8+ hour shift. My family has several restaurants, so I get the struggle. Plus, I’ve never waited more than 10 mins. (And if they did have it ready to go, it would be soggy, so hush up and wait on your fresh delicious dish!)

Went 2 the new Security Blvd location 4 takeout. Waited over 40 min, food came back cold and items missing.
Server had an altitude and I cancelled my order.
My recommendation «DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A DAY 2 WASTE AND DO NOT MIND ATTITUDE!

The rating would be higher but the restaurant organization needs a lot of work. I went here for lunch with my coworkers. It was 9 of us and we all arrived at the same time. The place fill up quick so early arrive is a must… especially if your going for lunch. We managed to grab two tables but it was tight and very crowded. My issue is my coworkers and I all odered together however it took almost a hour before they called the name for about 5 of my coworkers. Four of us that received our food was finished and the others name still wasn’t called. They just left without having lunch. We all ordered basically the same thing.
That seemed to be a big issue. .people orders were all over the place. The guy calling the orders has a massive back up and the entire staff seemed overwhelmed.
Also, i couldn’t find a trash can inside… we threw our trash out in the trash container located outside the store.
The food was decent. I would go back but will definitely wait a few months for them to work out the bugs.

This restaurant is like eating at home. They are good people as well. I will return every time I am in town.
My meal: Baked & Smothered Turkey Wings, Mac & Cheese, Potato Salad, Corn Bread and Peach Cobbler.

They are slow but well worth the wait. The earlier you go the better; I’ve gone twice and both times they were out of peach cobbler.

Worth the 20 minute drive. (It was our second one this week, the food was so good we had to go back!)
Fried chicken was fresh out the fryer, skin was crunchy and the meat was juicy.
Smothered pork chop was so tender, I didn’t need a knife. Covered in a rich gravy and sitting on white rice. Same with the turkey wings.
Yams, sweet and well cooked. String beans I could eat as a meal by themselves. Collards were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Wasn’t wowed by the Mac and cheese or the corn muffins (they were dry with little flavor). Strawberry cake was really good, I wish we had gotten some of the banana pudding too!
Service was friendly and welcoming. Cute little tables inside. I’d suggest calling your order in on the weekends because they get BUSY!
I’ll be back and I can’t wait until August when they’re opening in one in Woodlawn, closer to my house!

Fairly limited menu. Not a great ambiance. Didn’t enjoy my meal. Won’t be returning

Where do I start – my friend had a catered order for 50 wings and mac and cheese. She placed her order around 12pm (you have to pay in advance when you’re ordering a catered service); they told my friend her order will be ready at 9pm. We arrived at Georgia Peach at 9pm, and the food was not ready! This place is very unorganized, I have never witness an unstructured environment. The line is nonexistent – people are complaining about calling in an order which was not ready. I was very disappointed in this place. She told me this place is really good but I beg to differ. We finally received our food around 9:40pm, that’s unacceptable when you placed an order at 12pm (no discount or future coupon to use, but just sorry) very unprofessional. The chicken was too salty for my liking however the mac and cheese was good. You will not see me here again!

I was really craving some soul food last night. We are new in the neighborhood and we found this place by accident. It’s located in a small strip mall right across the street from us, literally!
There was about 10 people already waiting for food when we arrived. It was difficult to determine where to stand to wait in line or who to place your order with. We were never greeted when we arrived or asked if we have been helped. I finally asked a young girl behind the counter if we could order, she was friendly and took our order.
She told us they were out of fried chicken breasts and would drop more in the fryer but it would take about 15 – 20 minutes. We agreed to wait. Thirty minutes later the other guests had left with their food, we were the only couple still waiting. We enjoyed the music while sitting at a small café style table.
Our food was finally ready and they she informed us that the collard greens that we had ordered (30 minutes ago) were not done and would be another 15 minutes or so. We declined to wait and picked another side item instead.
The food was piping hot and was a decent portion size. The price is appropriate for the amount of food received. I found the chicken to be moist and crispy but under seasoned. Just needed salt and pepper quite honestly. Same for the mac n cheese. It was cheesey, ooey gooey goodness but lacked flavor. Hubby liked the potato salad and rice and gravy. The green beans were average, nothing to write home about.
We will try them out again but I will call in the order ahead of time.
I love to see small, family owned and operated businesses be successful. I think Georgia Peach could be amazing with some front of house training and a bit of salt and pepper! ;)

Friendly staff, good sweet tea. But my chicken wasnt crispy. It was moist and tasty but I like fried chicken to be crispy.
This is a big place but seems more designed for take-​out. Small number of tiny bar height tables with limited seating. Whichbis weird because the style, colora, music lends to a restaurant feel.
In the end thenplace feels a bit stick between.
Worth stopping fir a quick bite if you’re in the area.
