Candlewood Suites Parachute

This was a fantastic hotel! Initially, I booked the wrong night and the hotel was going to charge my card as a no show. But I called and told them what had happened and they refunded my card with no questions asked. The hotel was clean, the staff was incredibly friendly, and I felt very comfortable and at home here. I loved having a kitchen in the room to have real dishes to eat off of while traveling! The only downside was that there was no pool.

No rooms available in Moab, UT or Fruita, CO. We kept on being advised to keep driving. We finally «landed» in Parachute, CO after 1am. We were exhausted, but still checked Unilocal before choosing where to stay. I’m so glad we believed the good reviews about Candlewood. I’ve never stayed at this hotel chain before, so I was surprised at how well stocked the room was. There is a full-​size refrigerator/​freezer (which worked great to refresh our frozen packs for our cooler.), a full-​size microwave, and a dishwasher. There is a two burner stove top and a mini coffee maker. There was a complementary bag of microwave popcorn sitting on the counter. In the drawers I found pots and pans and silverware. There’s a scrubbing brush for cleaning dishes, a spare roll of paper towels and dish soap. We stayed only one night, so we didn’t need many of those things. What a great price for a good night’s sleep. We paid $ 77 for a king size bed suite in a Saturday night.

I stayed here on my drive cross country. I had originally booked to stay just one night but I enjoyed their service, view, and accommodation so much that I extended it for an extra night; if I had more time, I would have stayed for a week. It was absolutely wonderful here and the staff is so kind and friendly. Plus, they have DVD players in the room and you can borrow movies at the front desk; they have quite a selection.

Great hotel at a great price!
My husband and I stayed here for a night on our road trip home from Moab. Hotel and room were clean. Staff was friendly. The area is quiet and with the blackout curtains and cozy bed it made for a great nights sleep.
We highly recommend and would stay here again!

I travel from CA to MI and back every summer and Candlewoods are always my «go to» along the way. They allow my dogs and are always clean and pleasantly predictable.
Last week, my travels had me stop in Parachute because my usual Candlewood in Grand Junction had no availability. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, the room just as expected. We awoke early the next morning and hit the road, home our final destination that day. It wasn’t until we reached St. George, UT, 5+ hours after leaving Parachute, that I discovered I had left my Ipad behind. Not knowing where or how I forgot it, I called the hotel to see if it had been found. I fully expected to hear the words «no» but to my surprise was told the housekeeper had found it in my room and returned it to the front desk. I was literally in shock as unfortunate as it sounds, that type of honesty is few and far between these days. My husband was to be driving through a week later so I made arrangements for my Ipad to be held until he could pick it up.
I am happy to say, I am writing this on said Ipad with 79% battery life still on it. They even turned it off for me.
Thank you Heather and the unknown housekeeper for being honest. I am so appreciative and YES, would highly recommend your next stay in Parachute be at the Candlewood Suites. I know mine will be!

We really appreciated how beautiful the hotels is and the service at the front desk was fantastic. We also loved how big the room is, how comfortable the beds are and the fact they provided all the essential items at the in-​room kitchen. We almost wouldn’t have any complains, except there’s no block-​out curtains! :(All we have in the room were a layer of sheer curtains, which not only doesn’t provide privacy, it also let’s in all outdoor lights from nearby businesses and roads the entire night. And the walls seemed to be pretty thin as we could hear it every time our neighbors next to, below or above us open and close their doors, and when they walk around the room heavy-​footed. So despite all the beautiful décor and comfortable settings, we didn’t have a good night sleep.
As much as we wanted to like this hotel, we just didn’t sleep well there and will shy away from booking any Candlewood Suites again based on no Block-​Out curtains.

We stayed here for two nights over Easter while our car was fixed and it made the bummer of a broken car into a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. It has great laundry and gym facilities, is close to restaurants, grocery and mall and the kitchen was really nice and well stocked. We could’ve lived here awhile but it was good and affordable for two nights.
