Very good ribs, well smoked very little fat(much better than the fatty ribs served at Lockhart Smokehouse). Brisket was very tasty without very much fat at all. Sides that I tried were beans and potato salad both were good. This place is comfortable with good music and polite staff. They were not out of anything when I visited in the mid afternoon. The two meat plate was reasonably priced. Both the carry out and dine in business were active even though I did not visit at a peak time. Best nearby the house, in East Plano. Meshacks(in Garland) is the only citywide competition that I have found. Check out Winners BBQ, I am sure that you will be pleased. PS: GETTHERIBS !!!

A+++ My gf and I finally made it to Winner’s BBQ yesterday. I will say don’t go near closing time because there may not be a variety of meat to choose from. They only had brisket, baked beans and macaroni and cheese for side dishes when we arrived. So, that’s what we ordered… MANITWASAMAZING!!! Pros. 1. Large portions for reasonable prices 2. Clean atmosphere 3. Friendly staff 4. Flavorful and Tender meat(brisket) delicious baked beans 5. Great fountain lemonade Roy’s Lemonade Con’s. 1. Black pepper in the Mac&Cheese 2. Semi greasy brisket

Good food and old school blues. For North DFW this is the best by far. The BBQ sauce is great, the meat is seasoned good. I will continue to go here unless I’m in Oak Cliff.

This is now my go to place for delicious barbecue. MVP Potatoes are the best — will need to try every meat and the greens on weekends.

I love eating at hole-in-the-wall type restaurants. While Winners is new enough they don’t have the patina of other holes in the wall, their food is no less superb. I’m not so big on their brisket, but I’m a more bark type than most folks are. It’s still excellent, don’t get me wrong. However, their dry ribs and Pulled pork are PHENOMENAL! Both are flavorful with just a tiny bit of sweetness to them. The pulled pork doesn’t even need sauce on it. Their sides are good too, awesome baked beans, but the real gem is the Mac’n’cheese. Trust me, order some, you won’t regret it.

I went to Winners BBQ with my coworkers for lunch. We had a great experience! BBQ is, in my opinion, an intensely personal preference. Bark? No bark? Heavy smoke? Light smoke? Sauce? No sauce? To each his/her own, I say. And I also say that you can have lots of types of BBQ that you really really like, while also having BBQ that you really really love. Winners, for me, falls into the really really like category. It’s nicely smoked, not too spicy and very little bark. The meat has plenty of fat(which I pull off, but like having when it’s served so I know the meat isn’t too dry). It’s also really tender and moist — probably from all of that fat that’s left on while smoking. You’ll find Winners in the far eastern side of Plano, tucked into a nondescript shopping strip. I didn’t realize it until we were leaving, but there’s an outdoor seating area that allows you to get some fresh, non-smoked meat filled air while you’re eating.(Next time!) If I were you, I’d go on the earlier side for lunch. The line got really intense after we arrived at 11:40. There’s one register, and a super friendly order taker, but it still takes time to get to the counter to place your order. Prices are reasonable, particularly when you consider the portion sizes. The loaded baked potato is ridiculously large! I ordered the one meat plate, which came with two sides and a drink for $ 12. I had more than enough to eat to satisfaction and take half home for a later meal. I chose brisket — it’s always what I pick the first time at a BBQ joint. Kind of the canary in the coal mine test, you might say, for whether I’ll like the food or not. It was really wonderful(see above for why). Plus it didn’t need sauce. Even though I grew up with KC Style BBQ, I prefer sauceless now that I’m older. But you’ll want to try the sauce — it’s slightly sweet, slighty peppery. Not spicy. It’s great for a dab here and there. The mac and cheese was the most unique that I’ve had in some time, and certainly at a BBQ place. There were multiple types of cheese, plus plenty of pepper. It was a WINNER. Like I might order just that some time. The baked beans were ok, nothing to write home about but made for a pleasant side. They offer greens as a side dish on Saturdays and Sundays only — I’ll definitely come back to give those a try. Anything that’s offered for a limited time only tells me they put a lot of love and time into making. Must.Have. Here’s an interesting twist also — they offer Free Beer on Fridays. In a can, dine in only, one beer only. Too bad we went for lunch and not dinner, or I might have grabbed one of the Modelos kept in ice. Great touch. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall place with plenty of family love and time put into it and a great place to visit. I really enjoyed Winners and will be back. I’m giving them 4 stars because my true love is Lockhart’s, because I like a little more bark than Winners offers. But I would never turn down an invitation to eat at Winners! GOODSTUFF!

I give the BBQ6STARS!!! I am too smitten! This is HANDSDOWN, the BESTBBQ I have tasted! This spud, brisket, chicken and sauce are DABOMB! Great flavor, great taste, great everything! Huge portions of chicken and brisket on a huge potato with butter and cheese for… ONLY $ 12!!! The location is a little«blue collar». Just about EVERY race, socio-economic, and age group came in and out of this spot, so you know it is good! They ran out of mac and cheese, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, and turkey legs, just after we arrived. Glad we got there when we did! I could eat here almost everyday! I am careful and cautious to put my stamp on many things… I whole heartedly stamp this BBQ!

Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal supporter of Lockhart’s and would compare any BBQ to theirs since I first ate there a few years back. I am here to say Winner’s has set the bar from now on. Winner’s is an unassuming strip mall BBQ joint that pumps out the best brisket I have ever had. I have the privilege of working just a mile down the road, and often see people from my work there whenever I stop by for lunch. Recently, we have begun hosting sales reps from across the country at our office and they always ask for«Texas» bbq. Winner’s has become our go to spot and everyone raves. Stop buy and eat some of the best brisket in the state. Winner’s, you rock!

Definitely a great BBQ place but needs major improvement in regards to the slippery floors. Myself and others were constantly bracing ourselves trying not to fall from the slippery floors. The floors are slippery because of the fountain machine being next to the main walkway. Those black mats that were put down definitely are not working ! The food was great me and my coworker had no complaints except from everybody else who kept bragging about how good it smells. The BBQ sauce has a lil kick to it which is awesome for me because I love Spicy Food ! I ordered the two meet plate which came with a drink and 2 sides. Total was $ 15.52. The girl informed me that it’s normally not as chaotic and unorganized until lunch time. Be expected to wait in a long line but it will be totally worth it!

What an amazing business and barbecue! It’s such a hidden gem. I had the 3 meat MVP potato with sausage, pulled pork and ribs. When we first got there the potatoes were sold out for another 30 minute while they were cooking. After looking at Unilocal I knew it was worth the wait. That’s when De’Andre the owner came to our table and asked if we needed anything while we waited. It was so nice being able to see and talk to the owner. It’s a great family restaurant! Back to this baked potato… it was nothing short of AMAZING!!! All the meat was just so tender and cooked to perfection. I also had the mac and cheese(creamy and full of flavor) and the greens which are sadly only served on the weekends. The environment is clean and the staff is super nice and helpful! Definitely a life long customer :)

This BBQ joint is a winner. The music is fantastic, it’s spacious, and the service is great! The music reminds me of the days my mom and dad would listen to Soul 73KKDA. The smell punched me in the face as I walked in so I knew I’d be in for a treat. I’ve seen the massive baked potatoes and everyone I know ow who has had one loves them. I’m not into BBQ baked potatoes so I tried the sausage sandwich and I savored every bite. The sausage had just enough kick to keep things exciting and something about that bun was awesome. It’s like they seasoned it or maybe put it on a grill, I can’t explain it but know it was good. Don’t forget to get your BBQ sauce, jalapeño peppers, and pickles in the back, it’s all self serve.

This place has potential! The overall ambiance is lacking. The décor & music don’t scream BBQ more like a strip center bar/nightclub. It looks like there might even be a dance floor when the sun goes down. On to the food: I had the brisket potato. It was Really Good! The potato included, butter, sour cream and cheese. Chives would have made it perfect. They do provide pickles and onions. I can’t give an opinion about the sauce b/c the brisket didn’t need any! Hubby liked it. Hubs had ribs and brisket and enjoyed both. The sides are good but nothing spectacular. We had mac and cheese, BBQ beans and potato salad. We wanted to try the greens but they weren’t ready until noon. My little had the sausage. No one was a fan. It was gritty and too smokey. And there wasn’t any mustard.(Crime in my BBQ handbook. That and not having pinto beans, it’s the west Texas in me). The service was friendly and Quick! Overall, the place was clean right down to the bathrooms. You don’t find a lot of BBQ joints aside from Dickeys in a retail strip center. I wouldn’t stay away due to the lack of ambiance. The brisket is good and it’s not a chain!

I really like this place… it’s my new favorite BBQ spot. I’ve been about 10 times after discovering Winners on Facebook a few months ago which says a lot for me because I’m extremely picky when it comes to food and if I didn’t like anything about my food, I wouldn’t have dared come back. However Winners is a winner in my book, I always get the MVP with brisket & sausage and it’s absolutely delicious! More often than not, there’s a bit of a line but the service is pretty quick so I’ve never had to wait any unreasonably length of time for my food. Now that I’ve stumbled across this place, I no longer have to travel to south Dallas for tasty BBQ and that makes me very happy!

Went for the first time today and this place was amazing. We got the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs and sausage and the 2 meat stuffed baked potato with pulled pork and ribs and all of the meat was perfectly seasoned, you get huge portions and the greens might be the best I’ve ever had! I have absolutely no complaints. So, so good!

This place is legit! Went today for lunch. Huge portions and very reasonably priced. I got a two meat plate with brisket and ribs and 2 sides and a drink and that costs $ 14. A steal! Both the brisket and ribs were great. Great bark on the brisket and great seasoning on the ribs. The mac n cheese was solid. If I had to find any negatives(and they weren’t really a big deal at all) it would be that they didn’t have unsweetened tea and I smelled like meat the rest of the day :) I will certainly be back soon. The staff is extremely friendly. I like Lockhart’s, but this beats it when it comes to BBQ in Plano.

After reading , some coworkers and I decided to check out this previous unknown-to-me BBQ joint. I wish I could tell you I found a still somewhat hidden, obscure, tasty BBQ joint but that wasn’t the case. The place is really nothing to see looks wise but that wouldn’t matter if it was really good. It wasn’t. I got the two meat meal which included Brisket, Ribs, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, and an RC Cola. Excluding the RC, the brisket was the best thing on my plate and it was just decent. It had about the right amount of fat for me and the flavor was pretty good but nothing to make a special trip to eat. The ribs… What did they do to the ribs? To me, it looked like they smoked them and then poured Mrs. Dash all over them. The seasoning was plentiful but it actually looked like it was added after they were cooked. Flavor wasn’t very good and it definitely wasn’t falling off the bone tender. Sides were just OK too, ’nuff said.

Walking into this place, it smelled like what I want heaven to smell like. We were immediately met by a line though, and a girl writing that they were out of meats and sides on a small board. We waited about a half hour. I’m impatient when I’m hungry. It was 100% worth it. I got the 2 meat plate for $ 14. It’s two huge portions of meat, 2 sides and a drink(and the Classic BBQ side of white bread). It was far too much food for one person, even one meat. 14 bucks for this much food is an awesome deal. The Mac and cheese is good, but the baked beans were far superior. I’m not a beans person, but they’ve got brown sugar and bacon in them. It’s hard to resist. The pulled pork was a little dry but the brisket was phenomenal. So so good. I definitely want to come back. I’ll brave the wait for brisket that good.

Walking into this place was like an episode of American Horror Story. It was BEYOND sketch. The restaurant is about 40,000 square ft — a pretty big size and it’s full of tables. I went on a Saturday early evening and there were 3 people inside. Was this the twilight zone? Or is the food really that bad? We ordered brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. The sausage was surprisingly pretty good. I doubt they made it in house but the spices worked perfectly. The brisket was tender. Flavorful? Negative. And that darn pulled pork was a trainwreck. It had more fat than FATSDOMINO… har har har. Anyways, this place didn’t give me «a party in the mouth» type feeling, and the ambiance was a little too Alfred Hitchcock-ish for me. I won’t be returning.
