I thought this Panera Bread was delicious. We ordered soup, sandwiches, and a Mac and Cheese. I ordered a turkey avocado blt, hold the bacon because we had that for breakfast. The broccoli cheddar soup was the right temperature and felt good after a winter day at the park. I tasted my daughters Mac and Chreese for a couple bites before we left.

I cannot say a bad thing about them.

Initial service was good, food was consistent quality with other stores, but the rigmarole associated with using the restroom facilities will keep me from returning. Not the cleanest store, either!

This is the best Panera in town. The staff is the friendliest of any chain I’ve ever set foot in.

Love the honor system/non profit model. Totally awesome. The food and service is just as good as any Panera. The problem is the parking. There are no signs in parking lot telling you about a time limit. There are no signs in Panera warning you about a parking time limit. This gives the parking lot bandits(private meter maids) the perfect opportunity to slap threatening tickets on your window demanding $ 39. If you get a ticket, don’t ask Panera to help you. They claim they didn’t hire the parking leeches and claim it’s not their problem. Serving good food while letting your customers be fleeced by parking pirates is not what I would call a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere.

Overall, I like panera bread for their bread bowls when I want soup. It’s cheap and fast. This location is a nonprofit so it’s different from the other branches. Here, they focus on providing hot meals for people who may not be able to pay for the full cost. In that case, if you are in need and can’t pay, you can make a suggested donation for the food. Also, there’s bread on the counter where you can take as needed and just leave a donation in the box. Or if you’re in a rush and don’t need your bread sliced, you leave a donation. But for me, it’s nice to pay the amount and just leave a dollar or two as donation because this branch does so much to help feed the others who may not be able to do so.
