I feel pretty bad giving one star but I have to. Over priced pizza(they use canned vegetables), a side salad that was made of brown iceberg lettuce(and cost 7.95), a poorly trained waiter(poor guy) and a long wait. Pizza was fine and would suffice for a late night slice. My husband was craving pizza and we were lured in by the bay view patio… Big mistake. The young couple at the table next to us were there when we arrived and received their cheese pizza after us and a table that was seated about 20 minutes after we were and also never received their app, needless to say they were upset. Go to another pizza place.

Pizza was great. Service was ok. The waiter told us when we ordered that the menus were outdated and the new ones were suppose to be in today but hadn’t gotten there yet. He said that the prices had gone up about 50 cents to 1 dollar. When we received the bill we were pretty surprised, the price had gone up $ 5! We questioned the waiter and he said he was surprised and said that his manager is the one who told him the price change. We questioned the manager and he blamed the waiter, and gave no apology or even offered to give us a discount. Not real impressed!

I am no Pizza expert, but when it comes to good taste, I am sure I can identify good food from bad food. Food /Pizza here was absolutely delicious… We got the Small Size(10″) George’s Special and Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pizza. Both of them were absolutely delicious. It hit the right spot and we were wanting more, so we took a few more slices to go. Service is a bit slow, that’s the only down side… but then again, it makes sense why… because this was the only kitchen in PTown serving food after 10:00 pm on Commercial Street! I mean seriously, who closes kitchen at 10:00 pm on a Friday night?

Great place. Small, but worth the wait. Be got two slices regular and one pepperoni. I got a lamb gyro. Pizza crust is amazing crispy and fluffy. Lamb gyro was not salty as they can be a lot of times. We both liked the place and will come back next time we vacation here.

I used to like going to George’s Pizza. They were quick and cheap with decent food. That has changed. Prices are up and quality is down. My wife and I went in over the weekend and it was a bit crowded but most tables had food already. I ordered an eggplant parm sub and my wife ordered the veggie burger. It took about 45 minutes to get to us. My wife went up to ask where our food was and they said 5 minutes. We got it 15 minutes later. I asked for extra sauce on my sub and what I got was abut a spoonful of marinara. The quality was dismal. It had two pieces of perfectly oval frozen eggplant on it, very bland to say the least. My wife’s burger was a frozen garden burger on a bun that was wayyyyyy too big for it. For a eggplant sub, order of potato wedges, veggie burger and two sodas, it was about $ 30. We should have went across town to Provincetown House Of Pizza. Way better food and better prices.

This pizza reminds me of pizza from Germany. Not a lot of sauce, some cheese and toppings just thrown on. At least put the toppings on with some methodology and evenly distribute them. The crust is uneven, but it was my favorite part. Still had pretty good form I could fold it and eat it pretty easily! The staff is super friendly, that’s always a bonus star for any establishment on Unilocal! Will have to try this place again next time just to make sure I didn’t get them on an off night.

My boyfriend and I stopped for a quick lunch while we were roaming around P-Town. We ate on the patio and were able to enjoy the view of the ocean. My boyfriend tried a steak & cheese girnder and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had their pizza and thought it was AMAZING. I could live off their pizza. It’s definitely not a fancy restaurant-pizza joint and bar to the T. I’d say give this place a try if you’re in P-Town.

Highly disappointing!!! No show delivery, after calling back several times to check on our order placed an hour and a half prior, the owner himself claimed they never received the order. They left 12 hungry adults and children hanging, poor service and terrible business management! Never again.

Take my advice from a year-round Provincetown local — George’s is the worst restaurant in Provincetown! These other reviews are a joke! The staff is rude and the food is disgusting. Best pizza in Ma? Best pizza in the world? James C. you were either paid to write that or you are a complete idiot. Go check out Spiritus, Provincetown House of Pizza, or Twisted Pizza instead. I had a terrible experience here with a rude and nasty woman behind the counter– my complaint was dismissed because she is the daughter of the owner and is allowed to be rude to everyone. Never going back

On vacation. Ordered a pizza take out to the hotel which was great, but it was the worst pizza ever. The next morning me and my friends all had food poisoning. It was horrible.

George’s Pizza is always consistent. Very good thin crust pizza, a nice alternative to the whole wheat crust at Spiritus, another wonderful pizza spot. I love they, George’s Pizza, delivers and take credit cards, including American Express.

The food was good and the server was good, but to wait 50 minutes for three small pizzas when the place was empty, there is no excuse. I actually had to go up twice to ask the cook why so long. Told me three minutes the first time. Walked back after eight minutes and had to ask him to take it out for us. The worst part was that it was the kids cheese pizza that I had to go back for twice while everyone was pretty much done. Wish I could give them a better review. The waiter was very apologetic, which we knew he was frustrated with a new cook.

Way better then Spiritus pizza. Tastier, less greasy, friendlier staff, and open late. When the bars get out, skip Spiritus and come here for a slice of pizza you would enjoy even if you were sober! :)

Okay pizza but the place is always dirty and staff can be somewhat rude. Good place to grab a slice and get out, but if you want a nice restaurant to sit down and enjoy a nice meal in– you’ll be better off going somewhere else.

Just reviewing the pizza and service… I really like the pizza but it is a certain take on pizza that some people might not like — so if you want super thin crust this isn’t for you. Crust is thicker than ny style but thinner than sicilian, crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. A bit oilier than most crusts, but that is probably where the crispy outside texture comes from. Fillings are good — like meat lovers and greek. Kind of big for a small and small for a large. Not cheap but nothing is in this part of the world. The pizza guys have always been fine with me — very nyc pizza place service — wise-cracky and sometimes curt, but with a certain charm. Finallly — they are open all year and in all weather — bless them for that alone :-)

A group of friends and I went to George’s to grab a quick bite for dinner. It was the offseason so our group of 9 was able to all fit in the bar. For my meal, I decided to go with the Reuben after reading some good reviews on Unilocal. The sandwich itself was actually better than I thought it would. The meat was a little bit fatty for my taste, and the sauerkraut wasn’t the best I’ve had, but the combination of flavors and bread were spot on. Overall, this place has decent food and friendly service, but I think they were a bit overwhelmed by our group and the speed of food delivery suffered because of it.

George’s was our first food stop when we got into the Cape on our Honeymoon. We were exhausted from our 5 hour flight from Phoenix, and the wedding itself so we needed something quick and simple. The quality was not lacking in the quick and simple of our meal. We got a turkey grinder and a large pepperoni pizza. Both we great and we devoured them both. Even held on to a few slices for breakfast in the AM. This is a great spot and I highly recommend them. I believe they are open year round as well.
