Just wanted to Give a Shout-​out to Roberto! Great Job on the Smog my man! My Pops was so relieved! He went shop to shop and paying all kinds of money to people who could not figure out his smog problem! I know some people only put a one star for this shop. People leave Companies and new Mechanics come in! This must be the case. let me tell ya, They Truly are the BEST!!! Roberto is amazing!!! Thank you for taking the time to figure out what was wrong with Pops truck!!! Truly really happy that we came to this Quality Tune-​up shop!!! we couldn’t

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!
I made a mistake of not looking at the reviews before going to this Auto Repair shop. The owner and workers at the Auto shop will scam you out of your money any way they can. First they are giving different quotes and prices on the diagnostic test. The cost is double of what they charge at a dealer. They make you wait 2 – 3 hours on something that took them only 15 minutes tops to finish. They don’t seem to be certified techs and will perform unnecessary tests and unnecessary repairs charging a lot more than you will be charged at a dealer.

I brought my Honda Accord in for their $ 19.95 oil change. I am not usually the one who takes my car in to be serviced, however I am very aware of how the auto industry can be a bit shady, so I was on my toes.
I go into their lobby and request the oil change. They were very polite and upbeat. I fill out my paper work, hand it in, and off he goes to do my oil change. Good… Nothing weird. But 5 minutes later, he comes back in saying that my car requires a special oil, which would be $ 29.99. He then says that my car requires a special filter as well. He holds up two different filter, saying that they have two available… One for $ 25, (making a «you don’t really want this one» face) and one for $ 35. (This would be on top of my oil change price.) He says he recommends the $ 35 filter for sure. Better quality.
At this point, I tell him that their big sign out on the street says «OIL CHANGE $ 19.99» and I know that basic oil changes come with a filter. I have a Honda Accord, which does not require a special filter. I add that I do not appreciate them trying to trick me into a more expensive oil change.
He says assuringly, «You know what? Don’t worry about it. I’m going to throw in the filter for free.» *smile
I say, «You know what? You’re not throwing anything in because the filter comes with the oil change.» He says nothing and goes back out to wrap it up.
Three months later, my car broke down and I had to replace the engine BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT A DROP OF OIL IN MY CAR.
Please watch this link below and be INFORMED before going here or anywhere like it. I know these guys get money for each and every rip off, but come on guys… Is it worth your integrity?

This is the worst place to take your car. I will never go back to them, they will charge you for something you had to tell them about, wanted to change me two times for the same thing. This place is a rip off, do not take your car there. You will be out of a lot of money for poor service.

Do not go to this shop. Repeat — Do not go to this shop. They used to be really good, about 5 years ago, but I think they have new owners or managers now. Everyone who works there is Hispanic, but that’s not the problem. The problem is they overcharge and probably charge for unnecessary repairs. The last few times I’ve gone there for a smog check, oil change, or fluid change I end up paying hundreds of dollars for stuff they say is wrong with the car. I should have taken it to my regular mechanic, but this shop is close to my job.
I am done with this shop! Repeat — Do Not Use This Shop. NO STARS!

First time I ever wrote a review on Unilocal,and that’s not good. Seriously this place sucks! I went there about a month ago to get a smog check and they failed me because according to them «I have an exhaust leak before a cat» like wtf is that supposed to mean? This *** whole guy of Israel or who the fuck knows his name did not pass me because he said I have a leak in my manifold. I had to pay $ 50 to the dmv to get an extension because they failed me. Then I came to kniesels auto service down in sunrise Blvd and omg they basically told me that this guys are stupid and were not supposed to fail me. One of their certified technicians passed me. I had to pay another smog check fee thanks to their lack of knowledge. Stay away from this place!!!

Worst experience ever! They did not put the oil cap back and my entire engine got flooded w oil and it costs me $ 200 to get it steam cleaned. The Mgmt wasted my time and was not willing to make any amends or even apologize. Worst customer service ever and will not get my business again. No wonder they only have two stars! Should be ZERO!!!

Not only is this place filled with employees that don’t give a crap about customer service, they are also dumb and crooks.
I brought my car here for a diagnostic and they said the problem is my tranny and I need to rebuild it or replace it. Charged me 80 dollars just to tell me that. I took my car somewhere else and found out the problem had nothing to do with my tranny. The problem ended up being my catalytic converter which was a cheap and easy fix.
So these people took my car in, looked at it, came back and said «oh uh it’s the tranny, that’ll be 80 dollars please» I can’t believe this place is still in business and I’m most likely going to be contact their corporate rep so I can get my money back.

Rude service today. I’ve been taking my vehicles there for over a decade. They have always given me a discount even w/​out me bringing in my coupons. I pulled up the online coupon on my phone but the guy a the counter wouldn’t honor b/​c it wasn’t printed. Why advertise? Synthetic oil change was more expensive than the dealer. I will not be going back. You lost a loyal customer and I will not be recommending your business to anyone.

Right in the middle of a bad neighborhood. Thought I’d try it anyway for the $ 20 oil change coupon they have plastered all over their website. Have the coupon right there on my smart phone, but the guy at the counter insists he can only take it if it’s printed out. Seriously? What is this, 1997? Told him I’d take my business elsewhere. Last time I went to a quality tune-​up, it was similarly run down & dirty. Maybe this is how they can afford to sell $ 20 oil changes? Think I’ll try Jiffy Lube, at least it’s clean.

I don’t trust this place. They would not let me see computer printout of diagnostics when other places will. They charged me +$ 300 to fix a part that may not have been needed and was a result of a leaky gas cap.

Wow… I have been coming to this place for 15 years! Unfortunately my last visit to this place was today. I am sad to write this but my customer service experience was absolutely atrocious! !!! Rude service by the girl at the register, and never explained anything about the belts that needed to be replaced (she assumed I knew what a serpentine belt was. and that there were 2) lol. Look, if I am spending $ 400 I would like explanation and great customer service! I can compare this place to Jiffy lube in folsom because I just took my wifes car there last week… jiffy lube was very customer service oriented. They had online coupons that they informed me about, fully explained a break in of the break pads, vacumed my car, and shook my hand with a smile when I left! All this and service for service was cheaper than quality lube. Wow!!! I hope quality picks up its service or it too will be an abandoned building on folsom blvd.

They did a smog test for me in about 45 mins for 59 bucks – nothing to get excited about. The bad part was listening to the fast-​talking receptionist leaning on a little old lady to get a «required» 90 dollar power steering flush. Of course, the little old lady agreed.

Go anywhere else. They tried to charged me $ 1000’s more than quotes I got from other locations…$ 1000’s! I could understand a couple or even few hundred dollar difference on a job, but $ 1000’s??? Come on…

Not even a single star for this sucky place! Brought in for ac check and was told no problems or leaks and we could charge. $ 157 later we have faily cool air. Then a week-​ish later no more cool air. It’s blowing hot! We try to take it back and they have locked the door ½ hour before closing. We call and take it back and talk to the manager (Edwin) who tells my husband we can bring it back Tuesday of the following week and he’ll only charge us $ 60 to diagnose the problem but we probably neeed a new compressor. We leave and take to Meineke (Watt and Folsom) and he charges it woth some coolant for no charge (we had brought our second car directly to Meineke when the Quality fiasco happened) and voila — we have cold air for over a week now. Compressor is fine and no leaks from what we can tell. Don’t watse your money. Go to Meineke and get it done right the first time!

I went here to get my car smogged on my lunch hour. They were fast and had great customer service. My car was done within 20 mins. I highly recommend getting your car smogged here. They even offer a coupon for $ 11 off. It would have been nice to see that ahead of time. :)

I’ve only been here for a smog check, and I’m satisfied. They are a small little place, and it can get quite cramped, but they do try to help you as fast as they can. They have fair prices and it’s listed as is, so no fake «29.95» but by the way, you have to pay extra fees kinda deal!
They are straight forward and to the point. They get the job done, and they give you their «recommendations» to what they feel is good for your car, but they never ever push you to get anything done.
Great place, will definitely be a regular.

I have read the other reviews and thought I would post my own. I have been coming to this location for a little over a year and have been quite happy. The repair work they have done has been top notch. As others have said, they do upsell, but never have been over the top. They offer, I say no, and we move on.
Julio is great. He has gotten me the best price possible every time. And yes, I have called around. Contrary to what others have said I will keep coming here and will suggest this location to all my friends.

I used to come here all the time for my regular oil changes and service work. The sales tactic has changed and they are so pushy now. I will likely not be coming back in the future which is a bummer since they are right around the corner from my work.
This was my last visit:
I typically come with my work friend, we drop off my car, go to lunch and pick up the car after. This time I waited till the last minute and really needed my oil change… dashboard was telling me I only had 2% oil life!
So this time I came in after work at 5:00, they close at 6:00. There were only two other people in the waiting room so that was a good sign.
They wanted to upsale me to preventative stuff that I needed, but I really didn’t want to sit and wait to have done. After badgering me and promising it wouldn’t be longer than an hour, I gave in. I had let her know that if it was going to be longer I could just come back and drop the car off during work hours, but I received the guarantee that it would be done in an hour… after all they close at 6 and everyone wants to go home. The badgering was REALLY annoying, but I finally gave in since this was stuff I had been putting off and needed to have done.
I’m sure you already know where this one is going! I wasn’t out until 7:00, was starving and irritated that I gave in when my instincts told me to come back another time. I’m thinking they just didn’t want to lose a sale, but I would have been much happier to come back another time than be trapped for 2 hours.
When I got in the car, one of those paper feet things was on the ground. I thought it was strange that it only had ½ a foot print on it, but didn’t really think anything. Then when I moved it to the side, there were greasy foot prints all over my carpet!
So basically I got to spend 2 hours and $ 300 and now I get to clean my carpets… Not cool!
Will be looking for a new place for my servicing and it is mostly due to the high pressure sales tactics… and the fact that every time I get in my car I see the grease smeared carpets as a reminder.

Horrible Customer Service. I will never go back.
