I’m fairly new to the area and found this restaurant on a whim. The best thing I’ve done! I love the food and the service. I ordered take out and I’ve eaten in as well. Good portions and the employees are very friendly.

First trip was tonight, had the Mongolian Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork. The beef was probably average, did not have the spice I was expecting and it probably could have been seasoned a little better. It was cooked well though and my wife did enjoy it. The Pork was good, but batter was a little thick for my taste but would order it again. They were super fast and very nice. I did order it to go and everything was piping hot even after the drive home.

I don’t know what authentic really tastes like but I can say that Leo’s Kitchen is truly authentic American Chinese food. It tastes good. My two year old likes it. I will continue to come here often. Maybe my expectations have been lowered since moving to Roseville from Denver but who cares? Diehard General fans might want to go elsewhere. The Orange Chicken and the General are indistinguishable.

It’s my fault. Craving sweet & sour shrimp. The old fashioned Fish & chip type battered shrimp. That is what the Unilocal pic looks like. Didn’t care for coating. It was Fried shrimp like in freezer dept at supermarket. Not what I expected.

Leo’s has become a staple in our house since they have opened. We are always on the hunt for Chinese food that is not overly salty and they fit the bill! Very generous portions that is perfect for sharing. The walnut chicken is my favorite! Nice quiet restaurant too.

Third time I’ve been here. I will keep coming back as the food is good. The only dish I did not care for was the Lemongrass Chicken, a bit bland. I want to try the soups next time around.

I don’t know how I haven’t written a review for Leo’s yet! After moving back to the Roseville area from Midtown Sacramento my hubs and I were looking for a good Chinese restaurant similar to our favorite place in Sacto. We were stoked when we found Leo’s. It’s good Chinese and close to our house to boot. Their chicken chow mien, egg flower soup, sweet & sour chicken, and sesame chicken are some of my favorites. My husband likes the orange chicken. We typically ask for white meat only(I think it’s $ 1 more). They’ll also put the sauce on the side for our to go orders, so it doesn’t get über soggy on the way home. The staff is all super friendly and the service is quick.

I ordered a Kung Pao dinner plate to go and was mediocore. $ 10.70 was my total and probably isn’t any bigger than a lunch special. Fried Rice was ok but the Kung Pao was extremely oily. Not enough veggies for me and too much sauce. I will try this place again but will try a diff dish…

I would have to give this place an Ok rating, there sweet and sour chicken was good and fresh but the chow mien was not good at all the chicken in it tasted disgusting and just was gross my honest thoughts were I might get sick from it. The beef and vegetables plate was ok the beef was rubbery and tasted bit funky itself. It’s very hard to find a good chinese restaurant, now this place wasn’t terrible but bit wasn’t great it was just Ok. I hate to say it but I won’t be going back though, I really wanted to like it here but I must be honest in my review. If your hungry and craving Chinese and there isn’t anywhere else to go Maybe give it a try your experience might be better.

Just went here for wonton soup and war wonton soup and some egg rolls!!! When I first showed up they greeting me with a smile! The service was absolutely amazing! I placed my order to go when I got there, We had a nice chat while I waited about 10 minutes for them to make it. Took it home and soup was perfectly hot!!! Soup was amazing, broth had the best flavor!!! The egg rolls crisp to perfection! I loved the food I will for sure being going back to Leo’s!!! There is a reason they are rated number one Chinese restaurant in Roseville!!!

I’ve only ordered out at Leo’s, but the food is very good. Their lunch menu is awesome. The Mongolian Beef and Walnut Shrimp is delicious. Good portion for lunch. I’ve had other items on the menu that were great as well.

This is one of the best Chinese food places in town! They service is usually really fast and the food is amazing. I have never had a problem with their food, staff, or pricing. I would highly recommend if you like good Chinese food. I like the orange chicken a lot. Plus they have the spicy red peppers that I like with it too. I would eat them all the time if it was healthy.

Horrible. Simply horrible. Yes we came here on Xmas, but the food shouldn’t be as bad as it was. I understand that the service was slow, but the food came out cold and tasteless. We ordered egg rolls: they were hot and good 20 minutes later came out the broccoli beef, steamed rice and orange beef. The broccoli beef was COLD and looked dried out from sitting for a long period of time. The orange beef was luke warm, flavourless and overly battered. Steamed rice was COLD and dried out. 15 minutes later we finally flagged down a server and asked here our last two items were. They brought them out a minute later. This brings me to the chicken chow mein and walnut shrimp. SMH. The chicken chow mein was hot, good flavor but over salted. The walnut shrimp was over battered, overly salted, cold and fried too long. My final thoughts: Don’t go here!!! The place is freezing, lacks service, over priced and the food was tragically a mess.

If there is one thing I love, it’s great food at great prices. Add in some excellent service and ambiance, and you have a winner in my book. This was the first time I had ever been to Leo’s kitchen but it will not be the last. I was very impressed.

I went here for dinner on a Tuesday night with my mom. It’s located in a strip mall in West Roseville and is your pretty standard Chinese place. I was happy to see that they had a vegetarian section of their menu, but nothing really stood out to me. I ended up ordering the Spring Rolls as an appetizer and the Ma Po Tofu as my main dish. The spring rolls were good and paired especially well with this super hot yellow mustard that was on the table. The Ma Po Tofu was only silken tofu in a thick brown sauce with no green onions or garlic(which I missed). It tasted fine, but was nothing that I would seek out again. I would check this place out if you live or work very close by, but don’t think it’s worth going out of your way. The prices are good, but I hope they add some more creative vegetarian options to their menu in the future.

Always great service! My husband loves their Crispy Ducks. It’s great that you can order ½ or a full duck. I especially like their dinner specials: 1.) Super Set Family Dinner = $ 13.25 ea 2.) House Special Family Finnet = $ 15.50 ea 3.) Combination Platter $ 9.75, includes soup. In addition, they have extremely low priced lunch special everyday.
