Brian did an excellent job! My grandson is the worst when it comes to haircuts, but Brian was awesome, and very patient, with him. I’m glad we found a new place for my grandson!(It only took 5+ years.)

I came in for my child’s first haircut and was greeted by Carola, she was pleasant and upbeat! She immediately went to our son and tickled his cheek and made him giggle. We weren’t sure how we wanted his hair, Carola asked us did we like long or short and after a few more question she went to work on Our son I was very impressed how she handle him all the while trying to cut a moving target. I loved the haircut and was surprised at how even his hair was! We will be back to see Carola when he needs another cut.

This place has changed a lot. Staff is not friendly and they are not gentle. It’s called Tangle for Kids, and yet my daughter and I sat there waiting for a grown man(he had no kids with him) to get his haircut. Seems like the staff have their friends coming through for a hookup haircut.

I’ve been going to this salon for my 3 kids for years now and have always had a good experience. The last haircut my son received was cut up too high in back, the next time we went back(the same lady cut his hair) I politely asked her to not cut it as high. She gave him THEWORST haircut EVER. Took less then 5 minutes, uneven and purposely made to look bad. I couldn’t even believe my eyes. I didn’t say anything but I will never go back.

So I thought this place would be a great place for my kids. It’s very kid friendly with race cars and a small play area with toys and my sons were able to play a video game during the hair cut which was great in distracting them. I wish I read reviews before going, staff is not very friendly and when we left the neck hairline was not even, one side was straight and the other was rounded. I asked that he be able to spike his hair and the spikes looked good when we left after we washed his hair it was very obvious his front hairline was slanted… Maybe it’s a new hair style that I’m not aware of. We will not be returning. Pretty disappointed. We left paying almost $ 40 for two haircuts.

This is a nice place to take the kids for a haircut. They have little race cars, cartoons and toys for the kids to play with to keep them occupied. The lady that cut my son’s hair did a great job and I’ll definitely bring him back to her when he’s ready for another trim.

My son who is two got his haircut here. Karen, who cut my sons hair, did what my wife said and it was a great/smooth experience. We’ll be back!

Poor service. Not sure what just happened but I left feeling really uncomfortable. No one was there and they said they didn’t have time for me.

I absolutely love this place! The only place I have found that can do a great job on both of my kids hair. They have a Wii at every station. Very welcoming environment for the kids. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Very clean also. One happy mom.

Brought my son in for his first haircut, and waited an hour to get service, they didn’t communicate very well. His haircut was choppy even though he sat very still. The stylists started arguing as we waited to pay. Went in at 5, left at 6:30. Definitely not going back.

Came here a few times. I wanted the guy to cut my sons hair. I was expecting him too but some lady said I was next so I let her. We will see how this goes.

Love taking my child here. Brian always provides a great cut and is so understanding about a hit or miss toddler«good day». I also like that he keeps track of our last visit so we can modify the style or cut.

Gross! The place is dirty! The lady cutting my sons hair could have cared less about what we asked for. And she took off her shoes and cut his hair barefoot(she was only wearing throw away flip flops you get when you get a pedicure anyway but still). I’ve been a hair model for a state board licensing test and I can tell you they aren’t following the rules. Oh and they asked for a tip… Awkward! We didn’t even have a chance to give one before she asked!

Ohhhh… Where do I start? I wish I could give zero stars. My husband and I have taken our son here a few times to get his hair cut. The staff was pretty friendly those few visits. Yesterday, my mother and I brought my son in for a hair cut. Debbie, called my son back to begin his cut. As I went on explaining to her what I wanted her to do, she continued to roll her eyes and have a crappy attitude. My son isn’t a huge fan of haircuts to begin with, but the tension and vibe in this establishment was not good. I ended up taking the cape off of him and walking out. I was so upset at the way she was treating me. She works in a kids salon and she acted like she hated her job. The salon wasn’t very clean and it was very unorganized. I ended up taking my son to Supercuts in Lincoln and the lady that cut my son’s hair did such an amazing job. I will never step foot back in Tangles for kids.

The place is built for kids! My daughter got her first haircut today and she loved it. They gave her a style which she looks so adorable in. We got the first haircut package and it was $ 25. I think it was a great deal. We will go again for sure.

My son is 2. His first hair cut was done by his Aunt(she is a hair stylist) at his first birthday party. However, she lives in Texas and cannot do it every month(his hair grows really fast). From his first cut in a salon I have taken him to Tangles and he has always had his hair cut my Ms. Sharron. She is awesome and knows just how I want him cut. He doesn’t always cooperate, but she is still able to make him look clean and nice before we leave. She knows him by name and even when I show up without making an appointment, she tries to get us in her chair as quickly as possible.

I brought my son here for his first haircut; that was 4 years ago and while I’ve done it myself(only out of absolute necessity, I’m no stylist) or gone to another shop when we’ve been in a hurry(ie didn’t make an appt and the shop coudn’t take us the day before a wedding), this is by far our go-to place for haircuts for my curly-haired little man. He was 3 for his first haircut and the experience was awesome — I wish I had asked for one single lock of hair before they started, because they did give us an envelope with his hair but it wasn’t what I expected… but that’s on me for not asking for what I wanted — he went to mister Brian(Bryan?) and he was really good with him. He gave him a great haircut, exactly what I wanted, and he was very mindful of making sure it was what I had in mind as he was working. Since then, its always been a great experience. Once, another stylist cut his hair when Brian wasn’t available, but she was experienced with curly hair also and she did a great job. Not all of the stylists are as personable and kid-relatable as Brian, but they have all been professional and kind to us. I’ve also noticed that they take some special-needs kids, or just kids who are scared or poorly behaved, and I’ve been super impressed with how they’ve handled difficult situations. Using scissors or the clippers or both, my son has always come out looking clean, trim, even, and happy. Clipper only cuts are cheaper, but scissor cuts are only $ 17. I would NOT try coming on a Tuesday(or whatever day is walk-in only for a cheaper haircut)… just make an appointment.

Went in on a Monday to avoid the Tuesday rush and was met with terrible customer service. There was one kid getting a haircut and and no other customers or stylists in sight. The hair stylist mumbled,“how can I help you?” Well, lady– when my kids hair is sticking up every which way and I’ve walked into a kids salon, let me take a guess… maybe getting a haircut?! She informed me that she wouldn’t be able to help us for quite awhile(nice estimate.) because she didn’t seem interested in actually helping us, I told her we would just go somewhere else. Now, here is where someone who has good customer service skills says,“Would you like to make an appointment or come back at such and such a time?” But no. She replies,“you do that.“ Wow I. I will. And we will not be back, nor will we give you referrals. For a place whose clientele are children, a perkier, happier attitude is in order.
