Goin’ Postal

So nice and friendly! The lady working was so helpful and my visit was super quick. Much nicer than any postal/​shipping place I’ve ever been.

I can’t stress enough: DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. The new owner is easily distracted and flighty. She has consistently lost our mail and even put someone else’s mailing label onto an item I was sending out. Their response: «What do you want us to do?” — Uh, how about offer a refund for the $ 23 in shipping I paid? How about offering to pay for the merchandise that you LOST! I will never give these people another penny of my money.

I feel it’s only fair to provide an update, since things seem to have improved dramatically here (maybe ownership changed?). The horrible woman is gone and a very nice woman has taken her place. Before I moved from Round Rock in June of 2014, I used Goin’ Postal several times for shipping and mailing, and even took a huge box of papers in to be shredded. They were nice, professional, and reasonably-​priced.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Went in to obtain 2 labels for 2 packages I had, along with 2 additional labels with tracking #s on all 4. Was there nearly an hour!!! With no one else there prior to me. I submitted the items priority to make sure they got to their destination by the deadline. Not only did the lady who printed my labels put an incorrect city on one of the labels, the man working with her just crossed it out on the label and wrote the «correct» city under it. Did not want to do the work to make an extra label. Well today I followed up on the items… 3 of the 4 made it… and I’m sure I know the one that didn’t. THE ONE WITH THE CITY NAME CROSSED OUT! How tacky!
To make things worse… I was told my the receiver of the packages that there was $ 50 in insurance on the packages… WHICH I NEVER AUTHORIZED! I called «going postal» to tell them of my issue and all they said was I would need to go to the Post office to figure this out. THIS PLACE IS A HUGE JOKE!
WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Best place to mail anything! USPS, UPS or Fed Ex! Beat the lines at the post office, plus fax, copy, rent mailbox and Tyler Candles! The ladies here are awesome and you never have to wait long!

UNDER NEW MANAGMENT! Heidi is the new owner of this business and she is wonderful! Great customer care and so very helpful! She has last minute gift ideas for mailing to family and friends go see her you wont be sorry. Thanks for your wonderful help today.
