Silva A/C and Heating

Daniel Silva is excellent, and I highly recommend him and his business. He repaired my parents’ AC unit while they were out of town and I was babysitting the house. We had been left high and dry by another company, and Daniel came in and saved the day. He moved heaven and earth to get the unit repaired under very complicated conditions, and we couldn’t be more grateful. He is not only very skilled as a technician, he is also a good communicator (calls and let’s you know what is going on and what time he will be there), reliable and honest. We will recommend him to anyone who will listen!

Danny with Silva A/​C is good, very good. We had an intermittent issue where our emergency heating coils were turning on every hour for about 10 minutes. This had been happening since we bought the house 1.5 years ago. During the summer, this caused this AC unit (one of two) to heat up that end of the house and then cool it off and then heat it up again, over and over. We had 8 AC repair people come to address this. Nobody fixed it. Most spent ½ hour, didn’t see it happen or couldn’t measure it while it was and then they left.
Danny came out and listened to me describe the issue. The problem was difficult as it would function properly except for a short time the unit went into de-​icing mode. Danny spent a lot of time waiting for the issue to occur. He ended up spending 4 hours of his own time over three visits to troubleshoot the issue. He found it. Someone had soldered a control wire in parallel with an existing one that looped into the de-​icing/​temp sensor circuitry down by the compressor.
Danny is trustworthy, sharp, and dedicated. He is also just a good person.
I highly recommend him for any AC repair or service work.
