As I was driving with David O. on Sutterville yesterday, I realized, oh no. I reviewed the wrong place. but thanks to cut and paste function, we can give credit where it is due without breaking a sweat: These people were really nice. I had to go to Galt early one morning, and I didn’t want to go through the whole hassle of taking my child out of the car, go get some change for a dollar, and attempt to put air in my tire while my psychotic toddler is trying to kill herself running in front of cars and stuff. You’re probably thinking, why not just put her back in her car seat. To this, I laugh. Do you have children? No way in hell she is going to get back into the car seat. Hell to the NO. One of the regular patrons here noticed I had a problem and that I was looking around for change. He told me to wait, had the guy inside turn on the air, for free, and he put air in my tires for me. As I suspected, one tire was pretty low. This is one of my favorite things about this area, Land Park. The people are pretty old-fashioned for the most part, and are willing to help a neighbor out. If I would have attempted this in midtown this whole ordeal would have taken thirty minutes. Also I got a cup of coffee for 1.19 $!

What can you say about a gas station and small market? What distinguishes LP Mart is that its the Sacramento Food & Gas equivalent of «Cheers» where everybody knows your name… They have the nicest and friendliest staff in town and always greet you warmly. They keep the gas prices much lower than other stations in the area which is surprising given their freeway access. We locals appreciate Larry and the gang!
