Been taking my boys here 15yrs +++ just sit back choose a haircut style number and let them do the work. The price is good and they all are great! Quick service

I have been going to this place for about 10 years now. I always get a #1 fade and trim on the top. The price has always been $ 6 and I leave a $ 4 tip. If a simple haircut is what you are looking for then this is the place to get it. Rarely a wait that longer than 5 – 10 minutes. Usually I walk right in and they have a chair waiting for me.

Expert Haircuts is fantastic. I live in South Sacramento and I drive all the way to Folsom blvd for this haircut. This is inexpensive and they have a great staff. They are hardworking and very nice. They have 5 hair cutting stations, and 5 barbers constantly at work. I have been going here for years, and have never been disappointed. This place is good for simple haircuts. It is very quick and efficient.

These are honest hard-working folks. I’ve seen some of the negative comments, and I’d say there are plenty of places close-by that would fit their needs better. You can see that they sanitize their tools. If you have no-nonsense, quick, cheap hair-cut, this is the place for you.

Best haircut $ 5 or $ 6 can buy. Not too fancy, just about right for a regular guy. Staff are to the point, no-nonsense and very quick.

I read some of the Unilocal reviews about Expert Hair Cuts. I will say most are correct. This is not a fancy Salon, but I found on my visit today that it seemed clean and the staff was very friendly. For a $ 2.99 hair cut you cannot ask for much more. I do not have a huge mane of hair. I just needed a short sweet crew cut and they did a very good job. Parking is plentiful since it is in a shopping mall near the Carol Miller Courthouse on Folsom Blvd. Everyone seemed very cheerful and hospitable. The floor was clean and neatly swept. If you need a tradition no-frills hair cut gentleman, then I would recommend Expert Hair Cuts! Very reasonable prices, fast friendly service. Do not expect the Mayberry RFD type of establishment where there are a cast of characters sitting about for hour’s chit chatting. If you need to take care of business and have a well done haircut, then this is the place for you!

The place is dirty and I doubt they are diligent about cleaning their tools. My usual haircut, which costs me $ 11 — $ 18 at various places, cost me $ 16 here. So you’re not getting a bargain on top of the lack of cleanliness.

Hard to go wrong with this place. I get a #1 or #2 all the way around. So for me it is a basic cut but well worth it. $ 2.99 and you are done. I must admit I miss Capital Barber ad all the conversation about boxing and sports. But now, until I find that new spot this will have to do.

I got my haircut here on Friday night of last week and, yes, there is truth in advertising with Expert Haircuts. The sign advertises Haircuts $ 2.99& Up and if it’s just a basic haircut then the cost is only going to be $ 3.00. I asked for my hair to be cut really short. The barber used the electric clippers and shaved off my entire head. It only took a few minutes and I was done. I liked their honest pricing and my haircut was done quick and efficiently. If you’re on a budget and aren’t too fussy then Expert Haircuts is the way to go.

If you’re a PRIMA-DONNA go some place else… Great place for a quick working man haircut. Expert Haircuts is not trying to be your stylish salon. The place is set up where most normal guys with normal hair can get a quick cheap haircut for as little as $ 4. You can get a fade, flat-top etc. for 6-$ 10 bucks depending on how much time you spend fussing with your hair and how complicated the cut is. I get my hair buzzed every two weeks. It takes about 5 minutes, and I’ve gone into salons and they wanted $ 20 – 25! They charge $ 4 and I’m out in 5 minutes! Mona is the fastest which is really cool! Everybody here works hard and fast but if you screw around and waste time then you’ll piss em off and they might ask you to leave. It’s like the«Soup Nazi» but with haircuts. Go in, have your cash, know what you want, sit down and shut up. And give them a tip! You can’t ask for a specific barber to cut your hair, and don’t play games by trying to let someone else go ahead of you. Know what kind of cut you want in 5 words or less. Ask them how you can describe it to them for the next time,(I’m a «closed Wahl, no sideburns, tapered) = 5 words! Look at the pictures I posted to know the rules. You’ll get a nice mix of college students, retired men, working class men in the shop. Since this is close to Sac State a lot of college students on a budget go here. But every so often you get a pretty college boy who thinks the world revolves around him. As he sits and fusses, and makes a scene for his $ 6 haircut, just know that all the working guys and real men in the room think you’re an idiot! Go to the fancy salon and pay $ 25 and have a pretty girl pretend she cares about you! Great place!

By no means the folks that work here are no experts. But, they get the job done! If you’re in hurry and in need of quick haircut for $ 6! This place is definitely for you. My only complaint is that you are not allowed to choose which barber will give you a haircut. As soon as there’s a chair open that’s who’s giving you a haircut. So consistency doesn’t exist here but they get the job done. 3 stars for the quick inexpensive haircut.
