My family came here tonight. The waitress Aimee was very patient with us as we weren’t sure what we wanted. The place was clean. The food was good. I would come back. I would give 5 stars but they forgot to bring my kids food. When I asked they apologized and promptly brought it out.

Go during Happy Hour if you’re looking to get some wings or oysters. I like that they have a S&L combo(shrimp and lobster tail) that comes with a corn and sausage. For the sauce I got their collision sauce(everything) and their 2nd degree of spiciness, I’d describe it as something between a jalapeño and Sriracha, I’ll probably get 3rd degree next time. They have great prefix combos when you’re someone that wants a little bit of everything and doesn’t like to make decisions. A lot of employees are staffed so you won’t have to worry about service. They also serve Pepsi for those who are dedicated Coke fans. Thank you Lian for bringing my drink out to me when I almost left without it, I can’t count how many times I have forgotten my Togo on the table in the past. What I ordered: Cocktail Pitcher($ 18) good for 612oz cups. Shrimp&Lobster combo($ 18.99) Side of Garlic Noodles($ 5) ½ Dozen Happy Hour Oysters($ 6) Chicken Wings($ 6)

This is the first place where I actually like the garlic noodles I love their garlic fries as well… I’m not the biggest seafood fan The sausage n corn are really good as well. Their raw oysters were fresh and tasty. I wish the shrimp was more flavorful. We usually order the SL shrimp n lobster it comes with a corn and 1 piece of sausage. The service is average when there super busy but when there not too busy service is good.

It would be five stars but customer service especially with the lady’s that act«stuck up «with lashes and make up forgetting orders at times make it terrible sometimes with attitude but i don’t let it bother me too much . As for the FOOD it is pricey but it’s worth it some the one lbs are small but very delicious. They have many variety of food and flavored(sea food Cajun wise) Different seating as well … But when you call my first time calling in an order wasn’t that pleasant, the caller sounded rushed but not busy, phone call kept going in and out and kept cutting me off while ordering.

We went here at 8:30 pm on Saturday and there’s no wait at all. I got a pound of shrimp in fusion seasoning. It was very unique. I think they added coconut milk. It would have been better if its more flavorful. We also got fried oyster and Cajun fries. I do like the fried oysters, they come in small bite size so it’s an equal amount of crunchiness and oyster was. We also got garlic noodle and it was meh. ‘My cousin got the crawfish and it looks like they didn’t clean the crawfish well. There’s still black stuff on the legs. I’m not a big fan of their service bough. We have to ask for bibs, lime, and plates. It’s common sense that we would need bibs and lime if we’re eating shrimps and crawfish. I still prefer boiling crAb.

After all the years of living in south sac/Elk Grove I have never been to firehouse crawfish! It’s absolutely AMAZING. My friend has been here a few times and recommended it to me. I got a half pound of shrimp for about $ 9 don’t get the half pound just get the full pound for 13 $ it’s a better deal. The shrimp was very tasty and I got the lemon pepper. The sauce was to die for. I will be back to try other sauces and possibly get the mussels. Come check this place out! It’s worth it!

If you like seafood then the food here is great. You could put this restaurant in the same category as Boiling Crab thats across the street and also Crawfish Factory in Roseville. It wasn’t very crowded upon arrival and I was seated as soon as I walked in. The overall atmosphere was great with all the tv’s around and also the music that was playing. Customer service was also a big plus. I had 2lbs of snow crab legs(1lb was in lemon pepper sauce and the other pound in their garlic sauce), 1lb of crawfish in lemon pepper sauce, and a bowl of garlic noodles. All of the food was great and I will definitely be back again to try out new flavors. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this restaurant! Thanks!!!

Sooooo… Yeah. I hate writing bad things about places. But you could literally make better seafood at home with old bay seasoning. The portions for the prices aren’t worth it either. Ordered a pound of king crabs and it came with 3 legs, 3 potatoes and a sausage all in the bag. What did they do? Weigh all of that stuff in the bag with the 3 crab legs and then sell it to us for $ 24.99 for the 1lb? Terrible. If you truly love seafood, this isn’t the place for you unfortunately. You would be more fulfilled at a red lobster than you would be here. It was weird because the other seafood place around the corner had an hour and a half wait and this place has no wait but 4.5 stars on Unilocal. But somehow the food here was no 4.5 stars at all. Thoroughly disappointed. The music here is great though! :-D lol.

COLLISIONSAUCE!!! I definitely like the upbeat atmosphere and music. Everything from Miley Cyrus to Bastille with the spicy food to match. Aimee was the server and seemed knowledgeable about the product and advised which ones were more popular, and the types of sauces that came with each. Mussles were in the collision sauce, shrimp in the explosions sauce. Had a side of wings… kinda small(6 for $ 10.99) and would have chosen the calamari in hindsight. Great place otherwise, but probably the glitter to my cloud was seeing a manager from Panda Express walk in with his nametag still on. Friggin hilarious!

Now if you have ever been to boiling crab, firehouse crawfish is very similar to it. I’ve been here a couple of times before but never wrote a review about my experiences. And here I am today for dinner with my family. Compared to boiling crab, the food is pretty good and the prices are not too expensive. My family and I always come here for crawfish with the flavoring called thick blast. It’s one of our favorites and probably the only one we get every time we come because it never disappoints us and it’s a really bomb flavor. Usually my mom and I would share so we would get the 1st level of spicy was because she can’t handle it. You have the option of going from level 1 spicy to level 5. I also love shrimp so I would get the combo of crispy shrimp that comes with fries. It’s off the menu now but they still serve it. The workers are mainly women and I thought it was all women but then I saw a man, not saying it’s bad or anything. All the workers here are polite and greets you as you walk in. The interior is really nice. The name of place really sticks up to its expectations. Everything inside is like fire truck related or like fire fighters. They have a painting of a fire truck, fire extinguishers, etc. My final conclusion is that if your really craving something that is seafood related, this is the place for you. Especially if you’re looking for crawfish that isn’t too expensive since crawfish is only a seasonal thing.

Good services, ordered the Lobster Combo with Collision Flavor. Crab was frozen thawed so doesn’t have fresh crab taste. The Collision flavor was way too salty but the corn was good. Good attentive service and I have to return and try the other flavors.

I love this place and their happy hour. I like their chicken wings, butterfly shrimp, calamari, raw oysters, cajun fries and shrimp in fusion sauce. I literally order all of these things every time I come. Don’t forget a side of rice ;)

I’m pretty sure most of the customers come here after seeing the long wait for boiling crab. I got their everything sauce(forgot the real name) and it is definitely not as good as boiling crab. Their level 2 also isn’t spicy like their said it was. TIP– my friend ordered extra garlic in the everything sauce and it tasted like boiling crab spot on! It was delicious. Fish is the same. Service was friendly. Told us it was a 45 minute wait and we got in at 10 minutes! Nice.

This is for happy hour… YASSSSS! HH– 3 to 6pm. Ok so heres the deal, lately i have been craving for some raw oyster with lots of lemon, lime and tabasco like a prego lady. Wait what?! yea cravings… I was originally at a competitor shop purchasing something but the employee shared some most memorable info, i will never forget. It was to come here for their HH. After i knew this place has dollar oysters, i am hooked! First time i had gotten a half a dozen of fresh oysters but that was such a tease for myself. I had to come back a second time with ordering a dozen of fresh oysters! Heck no i am not going to share if your thinking to yourself while your reading this. just being blunt, haha… I also got an order of their fried calamari since i am always in search of the best calamari. The best calamari for HH is Pizza rock surprisingly. And of course they have all these sweet cocktails and beers, and i stuck with a stella. The oysters are sooo fresh and cold! squeezed a wedge of lime or lemon and sprinkle of tabasco, oh boy its on! They even have this azn salsa which is quite tasty and has cilantro inside. Next thing you know, i be slurping it down and wash the palette with some stella, to keep the fresh beer breath, yo! … ps. only a dollar each but order minimum 6 Calamari — i have to say theirs is the same exact type of calamari they use at pizza rock. Taste is far off from pizza rock though. Sauce that came with it is just plane jane marinara sauce. Its better than other places, and i am still a fan of this. Overall the beer is ice cold and refreshing, price is a dollar off during HH. The oysters are fresh and in a good size. I believe it is west coast style oysters. The difference between east and west is, the west is a bit bigger and saltier. East is smaller and less salty. Either way they are both good, kk… The bill came out to only $ 22 for a dozen of oysters, calamari, and a cold stella. Eat with a budget, eat smart, and stay eating good. i have to limit myself from coming here so frequently, because i am currently obsessed with this spot. crossing my fingers for that cholesterol test SOON! Thanks for reading and lets get slurping!!!

Shrimp and crawfish with corn, sausage in Original sauce are always my favorite. I also always bring the sauce left over home to eat with my rice lol… Have tried the garlic noodle once but not really like that, because its a little sweet to me; I noticed people order that alot though :) And do not forget to order the cajun garlic fries, you will definitely love it. They have happy hour all day on Monday and 3pm-6pm on Tues-Fri so whenever starving for oyster, my friends and I always try to come at those times so we can save some money :)) The services are always awesome even though they are busy or not, will keep coming back to check on your tables

Firehouse over Boiling Crab. The wait here is a lot faster and often times shorter than that of BC. I always go for the Collision, but be wary when you pick your spicy level. I figured getting the middle level would be a safe zone, but it wasn’t. The one time I got a level 3, I cried while eating my shrimp because it was sooo freaking spicy. This place has my alll time favorite garlic noodles! It’s so rich, fatty, and garlic-y! Ugh yesssssss. The sauce isn’t thick and doesn’t have that weird after taste that boiling crab’s flavor has, but I’m perfectly okay with it. I always get 1 pound of shrimp, collision, level 1 or 2 with a sausage. I usually eat about half and take the rest home, then using the leftover sauce and shrimp, I make cajun fried rice. Ohhh yeahhhhh baby, whatchu know about that? The cajun fries here are amazing! They’re the perfect cut, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. Décor of the place is interesting. It’s almost as though they’re paying homage to the firefighters of the world. It’s decorated like a fire station I suppose? They’ve got fire fighter gear and tanks all over the place and I love it. The servers here are always super nice and helpful, so that totally adds to the overall experience.

I finally had to try one of these Cajun-Asian seafood places in South Sacramento. They constantly come up in the Unilocal feed, and after visiting Firehouse Crawfish near 65th and Stockton, I can understand why. The restaurant is big and bright with lots of televisions and clean and safe. The main concept is tossing seafood into a bag with sauce and cooking. That is really it, although it is very delicious. It is reminiscent of a coastal fish market who cooks the fresh catch in a simple fashion. The main seafood are shrimp, crawfish, and crab. You choose the quantity, add the flavor and heat of sauce, and maybe throw in some other options. The bag is served steaming hot in the shell requiring a lot of effort for those not used to seeing shrimp in their natural bodies. Fried sides are available including very tasty garlic noodles, which resemble a Carbonara sauce. On my trip, I had a pound of shrimp with original sauce at the One Alarm heat. These whole shrimp were cooked well and required a lot of effort to eat, but they were delicious. The full pound was probably too much for one person, but the sauce was a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The side order of noodles was also a little too much for one. Firehouse Crawfish is a great concept with great execution. The place is popular with groups since you can share a lot of seafood at a relatively low cost. It may not be the best for date night as you will get pretty dirty and messy, but that may be your hope for the date anyway! If you enjoy seafood, this place should be on your short list in Sacramento.

I am from the Bay Area and there are tons of seafood joints in close proximity from one another and I decided to go here instead of Boiling Crab due to the high review. The place wasn’t too crowded on a Monday night and they have happy hour all day, score! I got myself a strawberry margarita which was very so-so, the strawberry was frozen though): Oh boy, did I regret going here after reading raving reviews about this location. The food was oh so mediocre, I didn’t realize that half a lb was so small(7 – 8 pieces of shrimp), usually back at home theres a bit more for my moneys worth. I got the half lb shrimp with all of their sauces in medium spice. The sauce tasted like nothing… All I could taste was oil in the sauce and it wasn’t very spicy at all. However, their cajun garlic fries were on point! The taste is nothing compared to back at home and what I’m use to aka tons of flavor and better service. Also, the service was a little awkward, never once did they check on us or ask for refills on our water. This was probably due to the fact that they were short staff, about 2 – 3 servers were on the floor and she only came to check on us when we were almost done and to give us the check. Wasn’t really worth the drive and the trip, I probably would go to Boiling Crab next time.

This might have boiling crab beat! Same atmosphere! Same food BUT they have more options! Could use a little more décor but things will come together in time. I love their firehouse theme that matches their level of spiciness of the sauces. There was no wait and they have happy hour! We started with Cajun fries, which I highly recommend. Not spicy but full of flavor! The calamari was alright. It wasn’t very crispy. The oysters were only $ 1 each for happy hour. They weren’t the best I ever had but definitely worth the price! I’ll be back for that deal. I got the collision at level 3 on the half pound of shrimp. I love spicy so this was perfect for me but I recommend 2 for those with a lower tolerance or 1 if you’re not a huge spice fan.

Went in on a Friday around the time it opened and there was no wait at all & no line! My friend and I got seated right away, which I loved. Unlike for Boiling Crab you would have to wait for 30min-1 hr.(I’m a fan of BC too but I’d rather buy Togo from them). This place, where do I even start?! The Cajun Garlic Fries are so good!!! I didn’t expect it to be that good, I was even telling myself«okay? We’re running out… Should I order more? Haha. We also ordered oysters, 1 lb shrimp(collusion, first degree), 1 lb crawfish(collusion, first degree) and calamari. I love how they give you bowls to pour the shrimp, crawfish or w/e you have ordered into it. I was so pleased they give you plates. The only thing I was a little disappointed on was how much they gave us for a lb of shrimp and a lb for crawfish, it was a small portion. Also how the crawfish was really tiny):’ I love crawfish! I was hoping it to be a little bigger than what I received. But other than that, I love this place! Service is amazing. The ladies are so friendly and attentive! :) Definitely my go to for some yummy seafood to get down and PEEL in the Sac area!
