I am a big fan for Long John Silver for many years, despite their service is OK or average. I am satisfied because their seafood is awesome and tasty. As long as I can get my order timely and correctly, I give them a four star rating.

If your looking for a quick greasy bit around the area this is the place. The food quality has gone over the past couple of years as the food isn’t as crispy(based on the several Long John Silvers I’ve gone lately). The restaurant itself is okay and well kept. I felt the staff were pretty nice and the condiment area was well kept and clean. Not much else to say about this place but overall its ok.

The drive through is terrible. The lady repeated her self 3 times«what did you say, then I know what you said» I waited in line with two cars in front of me for 20 minutes. The worst!

I like Long John Silver’s in general, but this place sucks. Some asian girl fucked up our order. Didn’t realize it until we got home. Their staff needs to get it together.

Always loved the classic fish and chips since i was a kid. I’ve been going to this location since as long as i can remember! It looks like they really gave this place a makeover and looks modern with an old school twist. The food is not bad for the price you pay for. I mean theres only sooo much you can do with fish and chips. Although i like their new lobster bites it gives the place more variety to choose from. Anytime im in the mood for fish and chips im definitley coming back here because it brings me back to when i was a kid!

I JUSTHADTHEFROZENSTRAWBERRYLEMONADE I have not tasted any of their food. Why? I came here with friends because they had a craving, but every time we come here I am already full. So because my friends were eating, I was able to try the STRAWBERRYFROZENLEMONADE. It’s tangy and very icy. I loved it. Very delicious and it’s not overly sweet. It was just right. It did cool me down and quenched my thirst. Im speaking for what I heard from the friends I was with that ate. THEYENJOYEDTHEIRFOOD! They said it was delicious.

It’s good seafood. Not fancy, not bad, not the best, not the worst. I come here whenever I’m near the area(ex: after Costco). Would be nice if a LJS was in Elk Grove now(there used to be a long time ago) but this is the closest one to EG.

As good as any Long John’s I have been to. Food is always fresh, hot, and quick. Dining room is clean. Service is good. English is sometimes strained. Wish the fries could be better/crisper! … but they’re OK. Corn on the cob is usually still sweet. I am surprised by that.

If you like LJS, this is a good location. The food is consistent and good. The staff is friendly. I’ve eaten there many times, both inside and drive-thru. I get the super sampler combo because you get one fish, one chicken, three shrimp, fries, two hushpuppies, and a soda. for cheaper than most of their meals there. I think it’s like 6.99. I can eat that for dinner for my self or share it with my girlfriend for lunch.

Drive Thru time is always, ALLBAD! So I dont eat here often. Chicken is always good. This last time I went here the chicken was perfect and they had a good deal going on for 15 $ Which included 10 pieces of chicken and 2 sides with some hush puppies. I asked for ketchup and vinegar and, to my suprise, they gave me plenty! Thank you for that! I hate having to ask for more packets because they only give you two or 3. I have been inside once or twice and and the service was good. I think its better to go inside if you have the time.

I just had the Grilled Fresh Water Tilapia. Wow! Very tasty with just the right amount of fish. I was surprised because the tray itself looked small, but the meal was good. I recommend the platter it comes with corn bread and is served on a larger tray of food.

Let me start by saying that there isn’t anyone who has eaten more food at Long John Silver’s than I have. For over three years I ate there every single day for lunch. Four pieces of chicken and shrimp. Sometimes clams. That’s over 3000 pieces of chicken and over 2000 shrimp. That said, I feel that I can consider myself an expert on the average quality at old LJS. What stopped my patronage? Price increases. From only a few years ago, the prices have increased by 40%. No longer is it a slightly-more expensive lunch alternative. Now it’s about double eating an any other fat food spots. So why still eat there? The chicken is chicken. It’s not chicken-paste shaped into strips. The clams are actual clams, and, again, not clam paste like you find in the frozen food aisle. The shrimp could use some help. For their price, they are a bad value and often have a faint fishy flavor which gives away that maybe they are a little … not fresh. The quality at this location is generally good and the staff are friendly and accurate. There are a few important things to note: Primarily: LJS has amazing batter. I’ve tried for countless hours to duplicate it using copycat recipes and my own imagination. Don’t even try. Just appreciate when you get some of the extra hard batter in your food basket. Secondly: People are under the impression that LJS sells lobster at an affordable price. LJS does not serve lobster. But what about Langostino Lobster Bites? Well, you may as well call them Langostino Mermaid Bites. There is no such creature as a Langostino Lobster. What you are eating is a food called ‘Lobster Bites’ made from a creature named Langostino. Real langostino. Not to be confused with Real Pleather, or Real Artificial Sugar. More on Langostino: Its closest cousin is the hermit crab. The food itself though, its somewhere in the ballpark of actual lobster texture and flavor, but it would be hard to mistake it for real lobster side by side.

AHOYMATEY, I’ve got scurvy! You know, I guess I should know ahead of time to pass this up, but for some reason, I was feeling adventurous for lunch, and there is no way you can tell me a fast food bargain seafood bin doesn’t reek of adventure. Or just reek. Arrrr! I ate the fish, shrimp, clam strips and buttered lobster bites. Oddly enough, all of the seafood melted in my mouth with the same creepy pureed like texture. The buttered lobster bites freaked me out the most I suppose. While I sat munching in my car, pondering over what horror could have befallen the lobster that brought its market price down to $ 2.99 for an entire snack box, I slowly fell more and more ill. and I am a FAN of salt and this stuff made me «shiver me timbers» so to speak. But alas, pirate’s talk says that dead men tell no tales, and maybe that what ol’ Long John was trying to achieve.
