BF& I both got the winter melon milk tea with pearl. I have a sweet tooth so I got the standard sweetness while my BF got 50% sweetness. He said his drink was still really sweet and next time he’ll get 30% instead. We both liked the milk tea, it taste just like the gourd can drinks you can get at Asian supermarkets. The pearl was soft and chewy and it took no more than 5 mins for our drinks to be ready. Lots of selections to choose from. They even have snacks. Next time when I’m in the area, I would totally come again and try the fried flour buns and the earl grey milk tea!

This place opened up, and its amazing! Quite better than quickly! I am trying new drinks every time I come here, so far so good. Plus they play most songs that I like! Great employees(cute) and free board games to play!

I’m sure quite a few people are excited to have T4 U here in Sacramento. It’s definitely a legit name in the boba tea world. The menu has quite a few options, options that many places don’t have. The variety is nice as there are many exciting options to try. As it was my first time, I wanted to give their standard Earl Grey milk tea a try. My first impression was that the drink was a bit too sweet. My friend who we came with told us that the drinks were on the sweeter side so he had ordered his to a lower level of sweetness. It’s great that you can do that, but in my opinion the base sweetness is just too high. We also got a fruit tea… and its sweetness was off the charts! We couldn’t finish it because it was too cloyingly sweet for us. Aside from the sweetness — which we’ll adjust accordingly next time — the boba was nice in terms of texture and chewiness and the flavors were solid. In terms of food, we ordered both the popcorn chicken and the fries. The popcorn chicken was nothing special. The breading wasn’t very crispy — just a middle of the road food item. The fries were crinkle cut, thick, and seasoned with pepper. They were also very middle of the road as well. Neither item stood out in any way. I really wanted to like this place more. Sure, it’s not bad, but I can’t say it’s up to the hype I’ve been hearing about it.

The menu! T4 U is a Taiwanese bubble tea chain similar to Tapioca Express and Quickly. For the newbies bubble tea is a tea-based drink which often includes a mix of tea, milk and chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies. The café has only been in operation for a month and a half and already reviewed by 55 Unilocalers! Grand opening was 12÷15÷15. Just happened to discover this place after having dinner at the Chinese restaurant next door. I like this location because it is close to my sister’s home here in Natomas. The wall of menu was overwhelming with so many flavors and types of drink to choose from! If you don’t know what you want or do not have a favorite or you are new to the bubble tea world I suggest you step aside and check out the menu before standing in line because, like me, I held up the line. Aside from milk teas, milkshakes, slushies and smoothies they also offer food snacks including french or sweet potato fries, popcorn chicken, fried lobster ball, fried cheese sticks, spring rolls, and deep fried squid are just some choices from their food menu. I like that they place a sticker label on each drink with the name of your drink and your receipt # and the number of drinks you purchased(for example, I paid for 3 drinks… each label read the name of the drink, order #1104 –which matched my receipt– and 1of3, 2of3, and 3of3). This way no one is confused which drink they ordered. Very organized. You may also control the sweetness of your drink as well as the content of ice cubes in it. This is a first for me. I’ve never seen anything like that in any bubble tea café. There is a percentage guide on the wall of menu. And what tea place does not offer boba… choose from pearl, coconut-rainbow-coffee-or fig jelly, pudding, and red bean. They are open 7 days a week! Cool! The prices are reasonable and staff are friendly! There must be a stack of board games somewhere because the kids next to our table were playing Connect 4. I am excited about this place and, although, most of the patrons are young guests and is probably a favorite place of hangout for kids after school … old guests like me can enjoy it too! :)

I’ve always heard that sacramento boba isn’t that fantastic, at least compared to the multitude of places available in Southern California. However, T4U has a pretty wide selection of boba that is pretty tasty. I tried the Panda Milk Tea($ 3.55 — essentially earl milk tea with normal black tapioca and the white agar tapioca), the normal earl grey milk tea($ 2.75), and the classic rose milk tea($ 3.50). To get a large it is $ 0.50 extra which is pretty good. You can choose to get 0%, 30%, 80%, standard, or more ice. Also, 0%, 30%, 50%, 80%, standard sweetness. I personally think the standard is way too sweet so I always get half. As for food, I tried the Basil popcorn chicken($ 4.50). It wasn’t too fatty and it was a nice a crunchy texture wth not too much batter. I also, had the sweet poatoe fries which tasted less processed than usual, and were softer than the normal overly-crispy fries($ 3.50). You can add your own spices(salt and pepper/spicy powder) and get your own sauces(spicy and sour sauce/ketchup/sriracha). In terms of studying, they provide wifi, their hours are from 11am — 10pm everyday, and they have 6 tables that are pretty comfy. Upon walking in, the tables on the left hand side have outlets. Only issue is that the music is a tad loud, and it’s pretty consistently busy but if you can study with background noise, it’s a great spot. I plan to definitely come back and try everything on the menu since they all seem like a great deal! Edit: I came back the second day and tried the fried squid and the osthmantis royal tea. The tea was really weird… I ended up getting 30% sugar yet it was still too sweet so I had it remade with less sugar. It was still rather sweet but the cashier let me keep both drinks, which was very nice. The squid was very crisp and tasty(: not too much batter as the chicken was. Tastes great with extra salt and pepper!

It’s a good thing this place is all the way in Natomas! If it were anywhere remotely close to earth… I’d be here everyday. An open and airy space with plenty of seating, it’s not hard to tell why the«kids» flock to this location in the middle of an insanely busy shopping plaza. With all the options they have on the menu, if you’re not familiar with ANY teas(or boba, tapioca), you can get overwhelmed and find yourself asking a lot of unanswered questions. Or, in my case, get stuck behind the guy who was overwhelmed and asking a lot of unanswered questions. The process is as simple/complicated as you make it; extra additions. Earl Grey Milk Tea $ 2.75 | I ordered mine with more tea than milk, and this is expected. A pungent and refreshing drink, incredibly sweet. I think they use condensed milk. I need one of these in my life stat. Basil Popcorn Chicken $ 4.75 | To-go box filled with pipping hot, crispy nuggets of fried chicken. Grab some bamboo skewers(your eating utensils) and top off with sriracha if you want. Luckily, we didn’t. By the time we got near the end of the chicken box, we realized the chicken was kind of spicy. Topped with basil leaves. I want to go here again.

I’ve been on a boba kick lately so I decided to try T4 U when I heard it had opened. I thought it was just okay… it wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better. I ordered a large iced green milk tea with boba. They ran out of boba that day so no boba for me. Sad face. Plus it was kind of unfortunate that a place that sells boba actually ran out of boba. Anyway, the green milk tea was pretty good. I also noticed on the menu that they allow you to adjust the amount of sugar and ice in your drink, but be warned, they don’t ask you for your preferences when you order. My drink was about 75% filled with ice, so I didn’t get much tea for ~$ 5. The interior was bright, clean and there were plenty of tables. They also had a few board games in the corner in case you want to stay and finding your primarily ice filled drink. I think they have the potential to be good, but they need to change a few things first. I won’t be back anytime soon.

First time going into this place. I’ve been looking for a new boba place. And found this on Unilocal saying it just opened. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Not too many people were there. The lady who took my order was nice. I must say it’s so good! They make their boba perfect! I got their Okinawa. It’s not too sweet which I like. I got my daughter the chocolate smoothie by itself which she said its a BIG thumbs up good. We ordered their basil popcorn chicken. I’ve been dying to try it because I love basil and fried chicken! And it has a bit of spice to it. We also ordered their fried flour buns with condensed milk. And I AMINHEAVEN! So glad they have this place! Coming back for sure!

My new favorite boba place in Natomas! Drinks to hot food to board games — what else are you looking for? Hmm maybe bigger space! The bobas are real yummy! My bf and I are here almost every night! Bad for diet! LOL! We’ve tried the following milk teas: panda, potted, taro, French pudding, oolong, royal mango topped with cream(my fave), chocolate topped with cream, and jadeit topped with cream, and many more. We’ve tried the flour bun(with condensed milk — bf enjoyed it; too sweet for me) and fried squid(so good)! Nice to have a NEW boba place in Natomas!

I loooove T4. I’ve always gone to the one in San Leandro. This place is totally worth the drive from Davis for me. Basil Popcorn Chicken — hands down, you must get this. It’s amazing! Honey Peach Royal Tea — got this 50% sweet and it was just right. Lychee Black Tea — too sweet at standard sweetness but has potential to be really good if ordered at 80% sweetness. FYI– I generally have a pretty sweet tooth but I’m also not sure how consistent they are with their sweetness levels. Add ons are 50 cents. Boba is perfectly soft and chewy. Aloe is good as well. I’ll be back!

I like this place. Love their royal rose tea and their basil chicken. Near the Raleys. I’m just happy there is another boba place besides Tapioca Express in the Natomas area. Similar to every other boba tea place. It’s not a large place but if you’re there when it’s not busy you can actually drink, chill, and play some board games they offer to the customers. The place lets you order your drink the way you want it. size, amount of ice and amount of sweetness. Overall, a pretty cool joint.

Finally! A good boba place in Natomas! They have a variety of boba drinks — milk tea, teas, smoothies! I ordered the jasmine milk tea. They also have yummy snacks too, try the popcorn chicken, you will not regret. Will definitely be back to try all the different drinks!

Got to try this new pad out hoping to have a good experience… All I could say is… It was Aight… I was expecting a better turn out… Location is cool… Next to raleys and changs Chinese… It’s modern and a cool place to chill with friends and family! I first ordered the green tea with mango ice cream and my lady got the avocado smoothie… My green tea and mango ice cream was not good at all… It was watery and the mango ice cream didn’t go well with it… I actually sent it back and they made me a strawberry shake and it was pretty good… Freshly made with boba… The avocado smoothie wasn’t sweet enough… We also ordered the popcorn chicken and it was really good… Good batter… The customer service was just average… The employees looked tired with NO energy and for a new business, they got to step up and show some motivation… Be customer friendly… Ask have they been here before and recommend some popular drinks! Most of all, freakin smile… Would we come back… Maybe… But with the quickly and tapex in the area… It may be tough for T4u to keep up…

Always down for another milk tea/boba place, so sure enough we had to try the newest spot in town. It’s funny how just a couple years ago I have never even heard of these Asian specialty drinks before, but now they’re comparable to coffee cravings. I wonder what kind of FOB that makes me… Drinks: Potted Milk Tea + Pearl(Large, $ 4.50) French Pudding Milk Tea(Large, $ 4.00) Mango Sea Salt Cream($ 3.75) Honey Peach Royal Tea($ 2.95) BOGO snack deal: Takoyaki & Fried Flour Bun($ 5.95) The drinks were second-rate. Nothing in particular stood out. Mild flavors. Underwhelming sweetness. I should highlight their snacks. They offer a lot of variety I have yet to see in other boba places in Sac. SF would boast it, but T4 would be the only one here to adequately satisfy the munchies. Takoyaki for the win ~

Went there about a month ago when they just opened. First impression of the place: where is it? There’s no sign! But it’s next to a threading shop to the left of bel air. First time I came in, there was a short line. We were able to get a table easily. I think that there might not be sufficient seating especially when the business grows. A high school is near by which is why you see plenty of high schoolers at this place after 2pm. Drinks I ordered here: earl grey milk tea, like 30% sweetness(? Forgot the sweetness scale they have) & kumquat lemon tea w/the same amount of sweetness. They’re really good!!! As for food you should order the calamari. I think it was that or squid. Not too much of a fan of the fries because I didn’t taste much flavor. The basil popcorn chicken is okay too. Staff is friendly. I plan to come back soon to see if their operations have gotten any better. It took awhile for them to take customers’ orders but it’s because they just opened and are getting used to the system. I would come back just for the drinks next time. Since I work not too far from here, this would be my go to place for boba. :)

Came here yesterday with my friend to get a drink before the game. We were the only customers here. Upon arrival, we looked at the menu because it was our first time here. The worker recommend the earl grey tea, so I decided to order that and my friend ordered 2 Thai teas and 1 pudding tea all with bobas. Also, we ordered the takoyaki. We were confused when we got our order because I had the regular boba while her order has mini bobas… And it took them 10 minutes to make 4 drinks and they had 3 workers… So service there was slow. The earl grey tea was great! I loved it! But the takoyaki was really small… And not as flavorful… plus it was a bit soggy. Overall, drinks were great, service was slow, and the takoyaki was eh.

Came in and ordered about 10 mins before closing on 1÷5÷16. The girl taking our orders got it all correct: 2 reg brown sugar iced milks(not to be confused with the brown sugar icy milks at Black & White and Meow Meow Café in Los Angeles county) and one reg Okinawa milk tea(can’t adjust the sweetness) with mango pudding and 0% ice. You can choose the percentage of ice in drinks. Only in our case, it was pointless. Despite the label clearly saying«0% ICE» it was filled with cubed ice. They must’ve read it as «100% ICE, PLEASE. LAYITON.» I tipped the girl for doing her job right, though. I also tipped the guy staff who ran into the single restroom to do damage control of a clogged toilet. Some little Filipino(?) guy just strolled out of that bathroom after he left the toilet overflowing onto the floor. For me to walk in after him and promptly try not to think about what I just stepped into. That said, despite the one drink being done wrong, and the brown sugar ice milk not being blended with syrup & pudding like it’s «Icy milk» cousin in LA, it was pretty good. Very watery and tasteless towards the tail end, though, so get it with less/no ice. The brown sugar flavor is good, however. The Okinawa milk is very floral, with a jasmine flavor. The fruity mango pudding compliments it.

On 1÷7÷2016, while driving thru the North Natomas neighborhood, I come to this new place called, «T4 U.» It’s a boba tea café from Taiwan delivers some of their finest drinks especially their appetizers to delight the snacks goodness! As I entered the doors which it’s located between Chang’s Chinese Cuisine & Threading Place, the atmosphere is very laid back feel as the soft rock music continues to play. The concept is very bright and new with all the light blue and white décor that surrounds the whole room. The employees especially the manager are doing a fine job here for making the customers like me an enjoyable service. No cons at all. Since it’s new here, I’m sure they will improve their service faster in the future this year, so hopefully it might be true! Now onto the drinks, since I’ve overlooked their menu which it’s on the right side of the wall, I ordered a Peppermint Milk Tea with boba, no sugars added and 80% of ice cubes(it’s customizable to create anything you want!) as I drank it, it tasted not that bad! Very flavorful and elegant compared to the boba drinks that I drank from Cool Tea Bar! Definitely an amazing boba drink! There’s tons of parking spaces available, so you can park anywhere you want. In the end, T4 U is the greatest place that I’ve ever experienced for the first time. Watch out Cool Tea Bar, cause T4 U is coming right at ya to know what real boba drinks tasted like! A well, worthy experience! My rating: 4 solid stars.

This is my favorite boba spot in Natomas! I give it a solid 4. I’ve been here a handful of times and it’s been consistent every time. I really enjoyed all the drinks I’ve had! The staff is nice and helpful, and have pretty good recommendations if you’re not sure what to order. It’s on the sweet side, but you can always ask to reduce the sweetness. It’s my go-to boba spot around here, and that’s saying a lot because I live near four boba spots! It’s near raleys, so there’s plenty of parking. It’s not the hugest space, so seating can get limited, but there’s space to play board games and catch up on some work if necessary. Lots of people hanging out all the time. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area and it’s open til 10 which is nice also! :)

First timer at T4! The drinks are refreshing with a strong tea taste, but on the sweeter side in my opinion. If you’re used to regular sweetness, I’d suggest bumping that down to 80% Fave: classical rose milk tea and mango royal tea

So excited for this new edition to the small boba family of Natomas. This place is fairly new but has been around in the Bay The décor is really nice with plenty of seating and even board games to keep you entertained. The two workers here were really on point. The boba was the prefect consistency and sweetness. Like many reviewers mentioned, their drinks are on the sweet side even if you order less than 100%. You might even have to go as low as 30% to get the right sweetness. My SO’s 50% was the same sweetness was my 75% which was already overly sweet. Also the medium drinks tend to be on the smaller side. I would also opt for no ice. Overall, it was a great first experience and I will be back. Hopefully, they would have made some adjustments to their drinks by my next visit. Plenty of parking in this strip mall.

If I could, I’d rate 3 ½…but I love boba and it’s Christmas time, so let’s go with a 4 star! I was super excited to try this new boba place — as usual — and I was stumped on what drink I should try. The panda milk tea seemed interesting(I was guessing Oreo but it’s actually a regular milk tea with the clear boba and regular pearl boba. if you’re looking for Oreo then get the potted milk tea!). I decided on the French pudding milk tea. What makes it French? I have no idea… But perhaps they get the pudding from France because my drink took the longest out of the 5 drinks that we ordered. My boyfriend and I both ordered our drinks together but when they called our number, only his drink came out. I awkwardly stood there, she looked at me and looked away… so I decided to mention that I had a second drink. She was confused and asked what I ordered and she put the order in again for the ONLY other worker to make it… in line with several other drinks. After we finished our drinks we went for another round since we probably wouldn’t be back for a while… plus our milk teas ran out fast. I chose the honey peach royal iced tea… ooooh it was sweet. Their drinks have more ice and sweetness than the average boba, so I’d definitely recommend getting less ice and sweetness. Their levels for both are listed on the menu. The snacks were pretty good. Luckily we came during their BOGO deal for snacks so we got to try a ton of things: takoyaki, deep fried flour bun, deep fried spring roll, popcorn chicken, and fried squid. My favorite was probably the takoyaki(hard to find in this area) and the flour buns. haven’t had anything quite like it! It’s a new place, I get it, definitely need to work on a more organized system plus better staff communication but I’m sure that will come with time. T4 is over 30 minutes away from home so there are several places I will choose before I come back here. But if I’m ever in the area, I’d choose T4 before any Quickly or Lollicup any day!
