Show-Me’s

At showmes they are all about good service and great food. The waitresses are always nice in greeting the table and are always on top of service. I have been going there for 4 years and I have never had any bad service. It is a great for meeting up with your friends or having a family party or just to grab a drink after work. Trust me if you have never been there you need to go. You will not be disappointed.

Worst service I have ever had. There was one server running the entire front on a Friday for lunch. We watched our food sit in the window for a solid 10 minutes. When we did get the food, it was fair, no complaints. But when it came time to tab out, she lost one of our cards while insisting that he never gave it to her. Sure enough, after the manager and the server searched for a good 20 minutes, another customer found his, AND another card on the floor by the bar. They offered no apologies and we’re extremely unprofessional about the whole situation.
Do not go here. And if you do, don’t dare use a card or they will blame you for losing your card.

Good for cheap bar food late at night but not a prime dinner choice. The wings are good and the beer is always ice cold!

I really like the place, but comes with warnings of being a dive establishment & sexy outfits.

Came here after Cowboys and was really irritated with the staff. The special was .10 wings which was cool, but you had to buy a soda and you can’t take any to go… but this is not posted anywhere. We took it to management and they blew us off. Too bad so sad.
The restaurant was generally clean but really smokey (no non-​smoking sections). I would really not recommend this place… as other reviews have stated the Hooters a few miles away is top class (yes, a hooters) and the staff is super friendly and polite — unlike our waitress here (although we admittedly gave her a hard time about forcing us to purchase a soda).
UPDATE: our waitress has turned into a complete [bad word]. Seriously. I’ve never had service like this… EVER.

Had the ham cheese sandwich for lunch awesome, fries were cooked perfect. Waitress is a knock out.

Extremely friendly servers and bartenders, always a good time when we go to show mes! They run a special each day of the week and have an awesome patio!!!

I go here a lot to get my wing fix. They are above average, and have a variety of sauce that I dig. I love their hero sauce. Extra spicy yet good flavor. Their huge beer mugs keep me coming back. It’s one of my few wing joints that I rotate to. And yes smoking is allowed here, which is a bummer for me. I try to find a spot away from everyone else, but it usually doesn’t help. I’d end up staying here longer if they cut that out.

Used to be good 4yrs ago. It’s more of a DIVE now-​a-​days. Super smokey & dirty. Bathrooms are disgusting & the waitresses are generally less than attractive.
The food is horrible. I used to love this place. I’d strongly suggest a change of management or have the owner remodel & re-​staff completely.
They need to «SHOW-​ME some changes» before I ever return.
Save your money & go to HOOTERS in St Peters. I generally dislike Hooters but the St Peters location is VERY IMPRESSIVE. The food is outstanding, waitresses are super nice & professional, & not to mention, they’re 1000x prettier than the St Chuck Show-​Me girls.

This place is supposed to be famous for their wings and the sipping sauces are served in prepackaged containers? Come on! That’s all I’ve got to say.

We went here for the first time with a large group of friends and our wives the evening before the July 4^th holiday. We were looking for a place to grab drinks and some bar food… and be able to sit together comfortably as a group to catch up. A friend suggested this spot and while I initially thought my wife would say «no way» she is a closet fried pickle and wing fan.
We were not disappointed… The service was outstanding, our waitress was attentive throughout the evening, not only with another beer but ready with an ice water refill without asking. When we finished eating a gentleman from the kitchen came out to check on everything as well. The fried pickles were crisp, the variety of wings we had were tasty, our burgers and chicken sandwiches were a hit, and an order of Philly chicken over rice was well received.
The fried shrimp Po-​Boy and Gumbo may have been a bit overly aggressive for a bar food menu. They were OK, but being a fan of New Orleans style cuisine they lacked the pizazz I would expect for those two items. Overall, I give this location high marks for their level of service and sticking with what they are, a friendly and comfortable destination for cold beers and simple food.

Bad food, warm beer, even worse service…

I went to this place with some co-​workers the other day and I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect other than I figured it was a Missouri-​version of Hooters mostly due to the name. «Show-​Me» state…“Show-Me” boobies… etc. I am totally cool with that, although I’ve never actually been to a Hooters before (heard the food wasn’t good, and boobies aren’t enough alone to get me to go!) so yeah, not much of a basis for comparison. My one co-​worker did mention to me that the place is a «dive.»
It was a Wednesday afternoon around 5:30pm when I showed up, and the place wasn’t crowded at all. I ordered a plate of toasted ravioli and a beer. Sean was with me and he got a bacon cheeseburger. The service was pretty good and the girls were all very friendly which is a plus. I actually didn’t mind the «dive-​y-​ness» of the place… every now and then I like going to dive places, sure. I wasn’t expecting sparkling clean floors and bathrooms. Lots of TVs so good place to watch the game if you don’t have cable like me, lol.
Unfortunately the part where my experience went bad was the next day… I swear to god, the toasted raviolis I ate just TORE apart my digestive system. Sean wasn’t feeling so great after eating his burger either. He’s got a much stronger stomach than mine in general too… I felt pretty miserable. I think it was due to the grease as they were somewhat oily and the filling was kind of… liquidy. Blegh. I’d possibly return for cheap drinks but I would stay away from their food, end of story!

Honestly it has gone downhill since last time I was there. Girls need to eat more salad and less wings.
Service was so-​so at best, nothing great to look at, hero employees there on their days off hanging out.
Overall, disappointed…

Show me your dudes Showmes! Today for lunch we went on a dude safari, and dudes did we find. To my surprise, my boss didn’t even know what a Show-​Mes was, so I promised him they had THE BEST food.
I squealing with excitement as we pulled up and spotted an outside table of old dudes. And, even more delighted at all of the dude cars, jaguar xj80, suburbans, explorers, gmc trucks, suvs and trucks in muted colors everywhere!
AND GUESS WHAT! The first thing we saw when we walked in was an ARMY DUDE, in FATIGUES! SMOKING!
Withdrawing from the smoke, we found a spot by a huge table of balding to semi balding office dudes who were all gnawing on chicken bones. The other end of the dining room also had clusters of dudes, but I didn’t get a look at what type.
I had 5 hot boneless and a cup of chili. As my previous review of Show Me’s LeMay contests, the hot boneless are pretty good. The chili was also not gross.
MAJOR BONUS: Big Buck Hunter Safari. I whooped azz.
I give Show Me Saint Charles 2 stars (one over lemay) because the waitresses were hotter, and the space in general was not disgusting and didn’t smell like the inside of a vultures colon like LeMay did. Plus, BBH, Plus, Navy Seal Six by the door.

I travel a lot on business and am always looking for a good beer and wing joint. As it turns out, despite all my travels, the one place that really satisfies when I get a craving for wings is just a few miles from my home… Show Me’s. This place is nothing fancy, and I will admit it bears a striking resemblance to a certain owl themed restaurant chain, but the food here is better and it didn’t take more than a few visits before I was treated like a regular. This is one of my favorite hangouts.

We love Showme’s downtown, so we expected this location to be just as great. We were sorely disappointed. We went on the day of the World Cup Finals, excited to spend an afternoon drinking beers and eating wings. Imagine our shock when we found out there were only TWO waitresses working the entire restaurant of more than 50 tables! All tables were full. We were told that the average food prep time was about an hour and 45 minutes because they were understaffed.
We weren’t too upset about the long wait time because we had planned on being there for several hours, but other people were getting pretty upset. Plus, we ordered buckets, and reordered while the buckets were still half full so that we didn’t have to spend too much time waiting for beers. (One table waited 45 minutes before a waitress even came to take their drink order!)
We tipped the waitress well because it wasn’t her fault that the owner or manager had only scheduled two of them for the day of a major sporting event. We continue to patronize the downtown location, but, we haven’t been back to the St. Charles one since that day.

Can’t believe there are no reviews here! Before I moved to Las Vegas, this was our weekly spot! From friend pickles, great wing specials after 9pm, lots of sauce choices, great price, great atmosphere. We’ve had two people up to 20 people with us. They have HUGE draft beers for around $ 4 for domestics. I think they were 36oz. I really wish I could find a place as good as this in Vegas! We would spend hours and hours there. Tons of TVs with lots of sports, UFC, and lots more! If you can, get Andrea! Awesome waitress!
