Came in here with my friends on a weekend and had a decent experience. All the workers were nice and fast but the drinks seemed watered down. Also with a name like campfire lounge you would expect to have more than jut 2 fires going with a bunch of people taking up all the space so others can’t enjoy it as well. The tater tots were really good though !

Seriously one of my favorite bars around Sugarhouse. Their menu is super creative. Nothing too extravagant but their use of the campfire theme is brilliant. Their s’mores desserts are a must try! Also – if you’re going on a weekend, expect it to be busy so go early if you want a table around a campfire outside!

This bar is perfectly chill for any occasion. The outside deck is awesome in warm weather and their food and beverage selection are fantastic. The Shrimp Po’Boy with the sriracha aioli is by far my favorite but their hobo dinners don’t disappoint. The service is always excellent!

What a cool place. The inside is nice, including the back room with the pool table, but this place is all about ordering some beers and sitting outside around the numerous fire pits.

This place is a small wonder. The atmosphere is great; it’s small enough to feel cozy and welcoming, but big enough to not feel crowded. I didn’t get a drink while I was there, so I can’t speak to what they were like. But the real highlight was the food. I ordered the Harley — a Jamaican jerk sandwich and a side of spicy fries. And damn were they good. The sandwich had a piece of marinated, perfectly cooked chicken, with just enough pineapple to give it a hint of sweetness, balanced by a sriracha aioli to make it spicy and delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection, with enough spice(cayenne pepper) to give it a great flavor and leave your mouth watering and tingling for the next bite. I will definitely be back.

After a long time fighting crazy Sugarhouse traffic on a Friday afternoon, me and my mate finally made it to the Campfire Lounge. We wanted to sit outisde, however the wind was a little crazy so we went inside. The food was good(omg spicy tots!) Decent drinks but expensive for the amount you get. The vibe: Hipsters, pool table, hockey on TV(huh???) and loud music. The acoustics weren’t great so you have to shout to speak with the person next to you. But the best part: Our waitress. She knew what to say and how to do what made us happy. Big tip for her, and big thanks to her as well for making us feel welcome. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it was just a little less loud and had a little more hefty drinks for the price. Great place though, be sure to check it out.

This place is pretty good. Food and drinks are fairly inexpensive. I like their fried tofu bites. And also the shrimp po Bo. It has a divey atmosphere inside(waiters will not be taking your order, you have to grab attention at the bar to order food and drinks). My husband likes the cheap Jack and cokes. There is also an outdoor patio, dogs welcome! The patio is noisy though as it sits facing a busy road. Fun place to chill and a bit of a mixed crowd, hipsters, old folks, and some nearby sugarhouse residents… Interesting for people watching when it is busy.

If you want to listen to drunk ‘brah’ scream… not ‘sing’: S*C*R*E*A*M along to all the horrible music they play on the jukebox while lazy hipster bartenders refuse to speak to them, look no further than Campfire Lounge!

LOVED this place. so perfect when the weather is good outside to have some space outside to eat and drink by the fire or your own table. It’s a fantastic date-night spot. They had a few gluten free vegetarian options, and I opted for a hobo-dinner. I probably won’t be back until the weather is good again(even though they have an inside bar), because it’s the outside experience that is the best :)

Hobo dinners and smores are fine but the true gem of this place is their 3 for $ 6.00 sliders/lil’ burgers. Both the sloppy joe and pulled pork sliders were delicious enough that I’ll be back for more soon. The only downside was coffee was not readily available and actually never made it to my table before I had to leave. No big deal though as I was the one on a tight schedule.

Ive given this place a lot of opportunities to be likable but it just isn’t happening. Slow service and not friendly like other Sugarhouse bars. Being a bartender/server I’m sure my expectations are high so give them a try anyway.

I recently went here for some breakfast, Bloody Mary’s and football on a Sunday afternoon. I’m so stoked I finally tried it out! The service was great and food awesome! I got the Bubba and it was everything I need to soak up all the booze I drank the evening before! Will definitely be back!

This is the old bay leaf. It still has a bunch of the great classics you crave from the Main Street location, like the big bubba, chicken and waffles, the Elvis, and they have home made ramen noodles. Unfortunately it is as hipster as you can get. Suspender wearing bartenders that have not showered, wearing bandanas to hide their dirty hair. The food is great and the prices are good, but go to stay for a short amount of time unless you are very patient with idiots. I even witnessed a group come in for the Elvis and the establishment was out of bananas for their peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich. The group stated they only came in for that sandwich and they would leave anyways if they didn’t have it, so they asked if they could leave and get the bananas so the Campfire could fulfill their order. The bartender said yes and after the group left, he walked around telling the story and stating how«hilarious» it was that someone was doing their shopping for them. Even worse was that the owner, Seth, just sat and drank and laughed with the staff while their patrons made sure an item on the menu could be fulfilled. Very offensive. This place has the buildings blocks of great food and cheap drinks, but needs some class, some customer service, and some showers.

I used to be a regular at The Bay Leaf and was sad when they closed but was really happy when I found out the owners were opening a new establishment in Sugarhouse instead. I wish I could support Campfire the way I used to support bay leaf, but literally every experience here has been negative. Last night was the last straw when they refused to allow me in because my new puppy is 10 weeks old and therefor not old enough for a rabies shot yet. No shot, no service, even with my older dog being with me and having both his rabies tag and county license. With everything else being sub par, I will now just take my business elsewhere.

Great place to relax. Cheap drinks, great food and pinball. Lots of pinball definitely one of the best places for it around here. Jack Daniels is three dollars. Oh did I mention the Mac doggy? It’s a Hebrew National hot dog mixed with their house made mac n cheese. Perfect

I love that you can hang around the campfire and you can get smores. the smores are made to order, so don’t expect a big gooey charred marshmellow, but they’re still good, i promise! I just had high hopes and a huge huge craving. The beer here is good, the staff is really nice and the crowd is pretty chill. i like you salt lake city…

Decided to come here after work to grab a cold beer and sit on the patio because it was such a nice day. When we got there, there were already a good amount of people there. Best thing about sitting on the patio is that they are dog friendly which is a hit for the sugarhouse area. They also have fire pits that would be awesome for the night time. This place doesn’t have a waiter/waitress so you have to go inside to order anything and they will bring it out when it’s ready. We ordered some wings and the Harley sandwich and they were both ok. The beer and alcohol selection is decent. Not a bad place to hangout with friends and chill.

Smores, smorestinis, specialty drinks, and hobo dinners. what more could you want? Not sure if it was because I was inebriated or not, but the hobo dinners were probably the best things that I’ve ever had the chance to eat. It’s VERY small inside and it’s not good for large groups, but during warmer weather you can sit outside near their firepits.

I just discovered the hobo dinners they serve! OMG. They’re delicious! I ordered the sirloin and veggies and it’s delicious! You can bring your dogs here and sit on the patio. The downside is it’s called the«campfire lounge» but there’s kinky 2 – 3 fires on the patio swarmed with people. The s’mores they make in the kitchen, you don’t make them yourselves. Oh well. This place is cheap and walking distance from my house!
