Fast and friendly service the food was excellent as Arby’s tends to be. The dining room could have been cleaner as several tables were in need of a wipe down and the women’s restroom was also out of paper towels. While the staff was very friendly I feel that attention to the little details would earn this local the last star.

I’ve had numerous problems at this Arby’s, but today finally put me over the edge. I ordered a Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwich with potato cakes and extra Horsey sauce. I gave the order at the drive through. I repeated the order at the window. I then said, «Don’t forget the Horsey sauce!»(Because I like Horsey sauce on my potato cakes… I know, but that’s how I roll). I drove back to my office, and opened the bag with a big WTH? No Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwich, no Horsey sauce. I got a plain sandwich, just beef on a dry bun. No cheddar sauce, no Arby’s sauce, no Horsey sauce, no condiments. Ever eat a dry roast beef sandwich? I just say this because I know it is hard to find employees who give a damn about the customer, much less have the intelligence to take and fill an order. If there is a next time, I will sit at the drive through window and take my order apart to see if they got it right… and I was the *only* customer in the drive through at the time.

Even though there was only one person on the register and one person in the back, the service was GREAT! Mr. Pierce was attentive, engaging, friendly, not stressed, and accommodated all of the customers. Excellent, excellent service. The food? It was Arby’s and I still like the #1 combo…

Reviewing fast food is always difficult for me. Expectations are much lower than in a sit down restaurant. Unfortunately, my latest experience at this Arby’s location was worst than I’ve had anywhere in years. My friend and I were having a rough week so I offered to pick up lunch for us and take it to her office where we can sit out on the patio. She very specifically asked me to grab some Arby’s sauce for her sandwich. I told her no problem and headed to the drive thru. The line was pretty long and difficult to maneuver because it was the lunch rush and the awkwardly shaped parking lot. No big deal. The employees don’t really have control over this. I finally made it to the speaker only to be greeted with a «What?» I figured they were just having a bad day and politely placed my order, making sure to audibly say please and thank you, hoping that would make the rush a little more bearable for the employee. After placing my order, I couldn’t pull forward from the speaker to allow the car behind me to order because there were already two cars ahead of me not quite at the window. Eventually, it was my turn at the window and the gentlemen took my payment and handed over my drinks. I asked for Arby’s sauce and he disappeared… never to be seen again. After 2 – 3 minutes a different young man comes over and hands me a bag with nary a word. I check the bag notice there was no sauce in it and ask for it as cordially as I could. He slammed the window in my face. I waited around for about another minute at which point, I figured it was just easier to apologize to my friend than to make a scene over prepackaged sauce.

On an occasional basis, I crave Arby’s. It reminds me of childhood on certain days when my grandma – frustrated and out of ideas on what to feed her whiny grandkids for lunch – would pick up 5 roast beef sandwiches for $ 5. A good deal for a never-fail good sandwich. Anyway, I went here with a friend on Mother’s Day, hahaha. I tried their new roast beef and swiss sandwich on a Hawaiian bun. It was pretty tasty but got kind of messy. I’ll probably stick with the old standard next time. The service at this location is excellent. I have to say that the employees here are SUPER nice and friendly.

I don’t often write a Unilocal review for a fast food restaurant, since they are pretty much all the same most of the time, in my humble opinion. But for the case of this Arby’s, I will make an exception. Yesterday was the 5th or 6th time I have ever been to this particular Arby’s since living in S.A. and it hit me while I was leaving the drive-thru there that I have NEVER, not once, ever, ever had a bad experience here in all of those times. My food comes fast, it gets to me freshly made and warm, and the people working here are always SO polite. I mean, so polite that I notice how polite and friendly they are on a consistent basis. That is pretty darn good customer service, if I say so myself. Yesterday’s Roast Beef sandwich was not a disappointment, as it looked precisely the same as the photos of it do on the menu– which, let’s face it, NEVER happens in fast food. So, Arby’s on San Pedro, I commend you. You definitely have my business for many years to come.
