I’ve been coming to this location for years. It’s always been a hit or miss. Somedays you get these beast chicken tenders that are juicy, hot, fresh and on fire! Somedays you get a dry, tree bark like, Poor boy. I don’t like how you gotta grab your bread and pickles at the register instead of the usual middle area they have at most establishments. I recommend their new spicy bbq sauce, it’s good with everything. My verdict, I’ll still come here, as long as this place keeps cranking out some hits.

Ham was extremely fatty and no flavor. BBQ sauce tasted like none I had ever had before, this was terrible. I travel for a living and have eaten at many BBQ restaurants, but never again at this one.

Our first visit to a Bill Miller BBQ. Disappointing. It’s basically a fast food restaurant with mediocre brisket and sausage and BBQ sauce more like watered down ketchup. The best part of our meals were the pumpernickel bread and meringue pies. Likely will pass on this place on the future.

I’m from Dallas, but go to San Antonio often to visit family. Bill Miller’s is usual place that we hit up on trips to San Antonio. Usually we get fried chicken, which is usually pretty good, but we decided to go with barbecue this time. That was a mistake! We got barbecue sandwiches because they were $ 1.75. Save yourself a sickness,(I puked afterwards :() don’t get a barbecue sandwich. It is flavorless and very greasy, honestly don’t even think I would feed it to a dog! Also got sausage, very greasy as well. The barbecue sauce is not good at all, very watery. Highlight of the meal-sweet tea! The tea is still really good. The service at this location was iffy too. I wanted two loaves of French bread and orange juice on top of my order but the cashier just didn’t feel like ringing it up or just simply did not want to listen to me. I also wanted condiments and extra pickles and onions on the side, that didn’t happen either. I will still go to Bill Miller’s, but I will not probably go to this location or get barbecue ever again. Stick with the fried chicken and sweet tea :)

I dined in when I visited this location and didn’t have a bad experience. I didn’t read the reviews prior, but I guess I’m glad I didn’t go through the window. Don’t skip this location if in the area. Most of the negative reviews are old. I went during the week at lunch hour. There’s plenty of business people, cops and everything in between dining. It’s a good location for lunch and fresh BBQ by Bill Miller’s.

This location has the worst WINDOW service ever! Quite hiring young kids that have no patience or customer service skills! The food is never disappointing, BUT when it is served to you with a horrible attitude I’d rather drive across town then deal with rude staff! I understand that this is a prime location so it is always busy, but that should noteffect the amount of customer service given at all!

Well I guess a word for Bill Millers is «Consistant». They are never bad, and never exceptional. The sweet tea is always good though. Chopped beef sandwich and fries was only $ 4.40…not bad for a cheap lunch.

Bill Miller never disappointing, consistent good food fast and friendly service. This location gets busy in the mornings, so plan an extra minute or two if your stopping in for tacos to go. My favorite are the potatoe and egg, they are unique and delicious!

Ugh no me gusta. Brisket and chicken were dry, fatty, and tasted like they were bathed in sugar. The only good thing was the cole slaw, which is the vinegar kind and not the mayonnaise kind. Avoid.
