Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I love Five Guys and I’ve never been disappointed with any location across the country. This one is no exception… Staff is always awesome and the food is always delicious.
But I want to give a special shout out to the guys that worked this Sunday night because they just made my day… Y’all are my Cajun fries heroes!!!

I’ve had five guys at other chains. This one for some reason just doesn’t taste as good and has had tons of excess oil on the burgers.

Yes, the food is good and is served as fresh as can be. However, it’s a bit overpriced. A double cheeseburger with the smallest drink available — $ 11??? You’ve got to be kidding. No burger is worth that. I was going to order fries but that would have been an additional $ 3. Once again, you’ve got to be kidding.

One of the best burgers anywhere. I first had them in Corpus Christi and been to all their San Antonio locations since then. Their food quality and their awesome service is very consistent though all their locations so far. They also have a really good beef hotdog and their fresh cut fries are awesome. You can’t go wrong with Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

When paying for the food (for 2 people) I was thinking, «wow, this is kind of expensive.» And then we were handed the food– and it was totally justified.
I wish I got a picture of our burgers, but my goodness, they were worth it. If you order a regular burger, and get full on a normal level, I recommend cutting the burger in half and saving the rest for later. Because let me tell you, YOU WILL GET FULL. See past Unilocaler’s pictures for examples. The burgers are a good handful.
And also, being the fools that we are, we ordered the large fries. We were thinking this would be like a McDonalds serving of fries. Oh, man, oh man, were we greatly mistaken. The large order is more than enough for 3 or 4 people, let alone 2. Needless to say, we did not, and could not finish the meal.
So granted, for a bacon cheese burger, another cheese burger, 2 drinks and a large order of fries, we spent a little over $ 20 for 2 people. We’re broke college students, so this was an ouch. But as I said, that order would probably feed us both for another meal had we saved half of it. So really, that’s a $ 10 meal for 2 people. Not to shabby, and oh so delicious. Dare I say, it’s better than In-​and-​Out?
Again, YOU WILL GET FULL if you do not order properly. Heed my warning. Research your noms.

I love a good burger and five guys hit the spot! Cajun fries were delicious. Their burgers are very customizable and perfectly seasoned. If you’re hungry I would stop here.

Great burgers and awesome helping of fries but ordering online DOES NOT save time at this location! I was supposed to have my meal 15 mins ago… Still waiting people have come in ordered and STILL get their food before me!!! Other places have it together a little better than this location with online ordering. otherwise as usual Five Guys burgers are AMAZING!

This one of my favorite burgers in town. They are very consistent with the flavor and the service is very effective

I loved his location. The people were friendly and fun. I don’t care if the burgers are greasy they are supposed to be. The large fries are enough for 4 people and worth it. Great if you like being adventurous with combinations of flavor.

The burger was small with luke warm toppings and soggy fries. To me the taster burger is across the street or at a McDonald’s.

Really great food and incredibly nice people!!! I had the bacon cheeseburger with lettuce tomato pickles and mayo my wife had a cheeseburger with lettuce tomato pickles grilled onions and mushrooms and we shared a regular fries. Well worth the money.

I was expecting more of gourmet burgers from a so called restaurant. The burgers have a good taste but it’s the same as getting them in the burger king drive thru. I gave it 2 stars for giving the impression that they serve better burgers. Whataburger has better burgers in my opinion.

Had a great experience for my first time there. I will be going back again. The sevice was speedy, even during lunch. The staff was very helpful at explaining the orders. I like when an employee will go out of their way to take care of your garbage from your table or offer you a refill.

Awesome burger, all the toppings you could want for free. Delicious seasoned fries! The burger was afforable, the place was well lit. and the staff was very friendly!

After visiting the Quarry for some holiday shopping this past Monday, my friend offered to take me to lunch at this local Five Guys. I had not had a good burger in quite some time so I was quick to agree even though I had never been to this location and I know sometimes franchise spots can be a miss. There is no doubt in my mind that this location of Five Guys is one of the absolute best the company has to offer.
I mean– WOW. First, the main reason for my effusive praise, the customer service is impeccable. I suppose it says a lot about the general sad state of most customer service in restaurant or fast food establishments for me to take so much notice and be so thrilled by it, but there it is. From the moment we walked in the gentlemen behind the counter greeted us warmly and weirdly (a thick cartoonish accent he was affecting certainly brought smiles to mine and my friends faces this holiday season). The employees behind him all seemed to work like clockwork together, and it was a fairly busy lunch hour so it was further impressive that they were smiling.
We each ordered the little variety of cheese burger and one order of the Cajun fries to share since neither of us had tried them before. Our food took very little time to make and within minutes of us getting it and sitting down the young man was asking if there was anything else we needed. We were digging in and everything was GREAT. The burgers were fresh and warm, the lettuce and tomato crisp and delicious, and the sauteed mushrooms I added to mine were the perfect extra touch to a solidly delicious cheese burger. The seasoning on the Cajun fries was YUM. I could have eaten one order by myself, probably, which is saying something because their orders of fries are HUGE.
Before we left we were checked on by two different employees, asking how we were and telling us that if we needed anything else just to ask them. They were so friendly and nice that it took my holiday spirit levels to a completely new place, so I thank them all for that profusely. I was having a quasi-​rough day so far and being able to smile was as good for my soul as the food was good for my hunger pangs.
In conclusion, great atmosphere, clean location, quick service, friendly employees, and delicious food served fast. THIS is my burger spot of choice now.

Now this is what a hamburger is supposed to taste like! Their name says it all they make burgers and fries, and there’s isn’t much else on the menu, but let’s face it, you seen’t going here for a salad. I ordered the large bacon and cheese, and my wife and son both got regular cheeseburgers. We got one large order of fries. The fries are taken very seriously. Fresh cut in the store and they have a blackboard that lists the appellation of their spuds. I love the array of toppings they offer, many are free like mushrooms and grilled onions. They even have A1 to put on your burger if you like. We shucked and ate the peanuts as we awaited our dinner order. It didn’t take them too long and our order was up. As I stated before this is an excellent hamburger. It struck that delicate balance of having a well seared exterior with a juicy and meaty inferior. And the fries, they’re next level good, and that large is an understatement. It was a gargantuan order. I couldn’t stop eating them. I want to go back this week!

Great customer service. Love the burgers and fries and peanuts while you wait (which is not very long). My son who is 6, asked for a second burger and he hardly ever eats. I was impressed. Simple menu. We will be back.

Really big, really good burgers. If you eat all the fries they give you, you will die. Lots and lots of potatoes in this place. Seriously, there are sacks of potatoes all over.
Burger was a little sloppy, but that might’ve been my fault — they give you so many options to put on there, I got a little carried away.
Overall, quite good, but a tad expensive… it is just a burger and fries, after all…

The burgers are very good with a nice ooze. The fries are tasty. The selection of free topping is good also son upcharge toppings.
it is fast food without the drive through window and the burgers are made to order not kept under a heat lamp for hours.
