Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The family and I visited Freddy’s on Veteran’s Day and I returned a few weeks ago to redeem my Voucher of a Free Entrée and Drink. I’ve been to Freddy’s often and have enjoyed all of my meals and today’s Visit did not disappoint.
As I approached the counter I noticed a 2 Star General grabbing his meal and quickly started chumming it up as it is rare to get this close to a General without his annoying aids playing interference. He looked at my voucher and inquired where I had gotten it from and I told him that it was our Veteran’s Day reward. I’m sure he can grab one next year but it’s not as if he needs a voucher to eat here being at the Tippy Top of our Pay scale and all but it was cute that he asked.
I browsed the numerous choices and ordered the Philly Cheesesteak but swapped out my fries for onion rings. The Wonderful ladies behind the counter also let me swap my drink for a milkshake which I added marshmallows, brownies and other goodies to. The meal was amazing and very fulfilling, but I must say I had to work out for two hours at the gym and didn’t even burn off the sandwich. I whole heartedly thank Freddy’s for their support of the military and hope perhaps that they will entertain some leaner healthier choices in the menu.
It’s hard to eat something that I regret consuming before I’ve exited the establishment. But if you don’t do it often, everyone Deserves a cheat Day!

If you feel like a good ol fashioned burger and fires place, with desert to top it off, come here!!! I ordered a single steak burger with season fries. I should’ve ordered the double because the single was a lil skimpy, but hey, it left room for desert! Lol. They serve string fires and have their own special dipping sauce. The sauce was really good!!! I ended up dipping my hamburger in the sauce (like a fatty!).
After I polished off my meal, a sundae was calling my name! You get to build your own sundae and they have plenty of toppings and options to choose from.
Good place, I’d come back if I were in the area.

Custard has great consistency, friendly service. Other than that, not much to rave about.

Fun place! Great food! Clean restaurant. Our first time here. The burgers are thin but tasty. For a combo they add shoestring fries and a drink. We added a pumpkin pie large concrete frozen custard. The custard is delicious! We were even able to pay for it all at once and place a «hold» on the custard, which means we could come back after our meal and get our frozen treat. Nice perk. Thanks for a great lunch!

After eating here for the very first time, the old saying «don’t judge a book by its cover» comes to mind.
At first I was put off by the franchises red and white exterior. It definitely gives a «circus» vibe, but once inside the aroma of burgers fills the air.
This place has one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned and made to order, I couldn’t wait to bite into it.
What really set the whole meal off was the special fry sauce and the flavorful frozen custard.
A must try at the Quarry Market.

Started with NITROJAM and now at Freddie’s! Next we go to Walmart! (Just kidding, I draw the line at Walmart and I ain’t crossing that line.)
This Freddy’s place is really good tho. Chocolate malt and a double California burger. I thought it was going to be like a whattaburger crappy joint. It’s not.

Good comfort food. The shoestring fries are amazing. I’ve found SA locations all consistently good. The chili is not amazing, but the custard sure is.

Great. Great food. Great experience. Great establishment. Consistently great. Clean restrooms. 5 stars-​nuff said. Custard beats all ice-​cream I’ve had in SA. Sundaes are on point.
Calorie count aside, one knows what they’re getting into when eating at this type of establishment. I firmly believe that calorie splurging should be done on something that’s worth the calorie splurge – this place allows for quality splurging.

Great milkshakes!!! Very authentic tasting and smooth down the throat. Will return for more.

Pros– it’s clean, family friendly establishment with friendly staff and fast service. The onion rings were really crispy and fried perfectly. The mini sundae (peanut butter, chocolate, banana) was a really good but then again, how can you mess that up?
Cons– the biggest downside was that the burgers sucked. The patties were thin and dry. Even all the condiments couldn’t hide the blandness. The Chicago style hot dog (4 $) was also disappointing — the dog was tiny and tasted way too salty. Fries were just ok. The food was just a little better than what I would expect at sonics.

This place is a nice fast food place, one of the better places to have a veggie burger, very tasty even though some of the ingredients were left off. The French fries are skinny like shoestring potatoes but were very good. Glad I ate here while traveling across the country! They are really slow on the clean up, tables stayed dirty for a long time.

Came here with the wounded warriors. Never been here and was a little apprehensive to «steak burgers». They were very good and interesting in the same. The Custard is by far the best custard I’ve ever had. Ill be coming here more. Freddy’s was started by some brothers who are are veterans and are well into their 80s. Thank you for your service and apart of the «Greatest Generation» and for the courtesies during our visit. Hands down, top notch!!!

Great place to get a fast and good burger before watching a movie recommend the number seven and the fry sauce is awesome. Their sevice is really good too even when they are busy.

Manager answered the phone in the middle of taking our order. He did ask the person to hold, but, someone else should have answered.
Food — good. Custard — better.

I love Freddy’s — yum! But, this location just always seems dirty. The floor looks dirty. There’s a leak in the ceiling that’s formed a big spot if mold. Yesterday, one of the tables had a big bucket on it to catch the water from the leak! Yuck!

My frozen custard cherry was popped here at Freddy’s back in 2011 and I don’t regret it one bit! :)
Not only is the custard good, but their fries and burgers are outstanding as well. Freddy’s is the perfect venue for your on the go cheat day :)

Grabbed a quick bite around 2pm. Place was pretty dead, so service was quick. Food was done to order. Like the option of having the dessert held til after you are done eating. Only issue was the dining room was kind of messy. It was post-​lunch rush and they seemed short staffed.

Came here to grab a quick bite before going to the movies and BOY was I impressed. The service is great and the quality of the food is just as good if not better. The steakburgers are seasoned and prepared just how they should be made.
I’m a big fan of the fry sauce! Not sure what it is made with but it compliments everything perfectly.
This place is priced reasonably for great food and good service.
Definitely will be coming back to have other items on the menu.
