This place has been a favorite of mine for the past few years. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I really appreciate that they serve grass fed beef. Their gluten free chocolate chip cookies are a great option too. This place is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The freshest tacos! The red salsa is so good that you could drink it! If you want a taco fix without the grease and guilt then this is the place to go!

Wagyu hamburger was excellent. Had the Beanburger with grilled serranos & jalapeños, and paid an extra dollar for wagyu beef. For about $ 8, this is a great deal for quality beef — I highly recommend it! It was delicious, one of the better burgers I’ve had in S.A. My wife had a regular burger with jack cheese on a gluten-free bun, she really enjoyed hers as well. Ordered some chips and queso, but the chips were glistening with oil and we couldn’t stomach them. The queso had a nice thick consistency, but the flavor was unremarkable, not much fire. Went back to order some fries for my wife instead, and she liked those; nice to have serrano ketchup for dipping. The Austin-brewed Maine Root lemonade with prickly pear fruit was a tasty alternative to the boring array of drinks typically found at most places.

I eat here every week. I never get tired of it. The hand-made pizza crust and sauce makes all the pizzas amazing. The sweet potato fries are a must. The nachos have totally spoiled me. There is nothing like Orderup hand-cut chips. They are strong enough to dip and still flaky. I can’t eat chips anywhere else.

Amazing burgers and fries! My family and I got the ABC burger, sweet potato fries, Caesar fries, queso and chips, and a cookie. All I can say is amazing! Everything held up great to take home and eat! They bagged everything seperate and put it in an easy paper bag with handles to take home. Customer service was great! And to go was quick and easy!

No. Won’t be back. Spent $ 30 for three people and one of those people is 3. His grilled cheese was super greasy I had to sop up the grease with napkins…$ 6 bucks… My pulled pork burger was insanely salty. Husbands three amigos was sloppy. All three of our meals came on one small metal tray so we had to lay down a bunch of napkins just to eat our food on the table. Got just the regular fries which were not crispy at all. Super disappointed we just wasted money here.

Fantastic burger! I had the«Order Up Burger», Fries and a Banana Cinnamon Shake. DELICIOUS! The service was great too with a friendly staff. Definitely going back even though it’s a bit of a drive from where we live.

I love the food, BUT the service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I go often so its not a random occurrence. It is suppose to be some place quick and easy but it not ATALL! I often wait 25 mins or more for a salad with grilled chicken. The cashiers are insanely slow and its not the customers holding up the line. You can only go at lunch if you have the day off and can spend over an hour there. Today I waited over 25 mins for my salad and then my boyfriend waited another 10 mins for his burger that was just sitting in the window, getting cold. More than once I have been there when people are getting refunds because they can’t wait for the food any longer.

Order –up has very tastey burgers and sweat potatoe fries. However, every time I order regular french fries, it comes out soggy. When it occurred first time, I addressed it with the casher. She acted like it was how it supposed to be. But she gave me a fresh one any way. After soggy fries came out few time, I gave up and started going to «in and out» burger. I think the orderup is a good fast food restaurant, but needs to improve on freshness on fries and customer service at the cahser.

Previously I would have given this establishment 5 stars, but a few months ago they changed their menu. Their new menu is quite small and hard to read.(People must not be happy with their new menu because their old menu in some form sits in the front of the store for people to reference for those in the know). They seem to have tried to simplify things, but by doing so they have added more confusion and now they are more like a generic fast food restaurant. Rather than purveyors of organic, hip, fast food, they are no longer special. Previously I had esp. liked all their versions chicken tacos. And they had«gluten free» options as well as local beef in their burgers. Theses still seem to be in place, but rather than 2 tacos, they have slightly lowered the price, but you only now get 1 taco, which makes the total bill much higher. Last time we went yesterday, we ordered our normal order, but did not order any fries or sweet potato fries or any of their dairy free smoothies that you could get with coconut milk yogurt, and our bill was the same. Not a good deal. If you look at their new menu which is plastered on their wall, they have columns for burgers, tacos and pizza.(The pizza as far as I know is a new thing). But rather than the cool specialty burgers and tacos that had special names, you now have to choose what you want in them and they are fairly generic. And they took down all the pretty pictures they had of their various food options because it would likely confuse customers with the recent changes in their menu. Needless to say, we used to frequent this place weekly, but it is unclear what all these changes mean and if the quality of the food will still be the same. My husband and I felt that the chicken tacos we had yesterday were not as tasty as previous. Unsure if they have also changed where the source their raw materials from, or if this was just a bad day for them.

I am concerned: This place used to have signs everywhere that said«Organic» I loved that they used organic produce. I loved that they had gluten free options. This would make this the second restaurant in all of SA that cares about using non-pesticide produce on food. This made me excited about eating out again. When I went in there the other day, all of the«organic» signs were taken down. Has this restaurant succumbed to utilizing cheap ingredients for higher profit like most other restaurants? I would bet money on it.(get the joke?) P. S. I also ordered a taco on corn tortilla, it came out on flour… that would have been bad if I was deathly allergic to gluten…

I’ve been stopping in every few weeks for a year or so for fish tacos to go. Great tacos and good value lunch for the area – about $ 5 for 2 and a 3rd for another buck or so. If really hungry, also some chips and(very good) green salsa… about $ 10 all in. Called in my order today and was greeted with a bill north of $ 15 at pickup. Their explanation: more fish on the tacos. My take: an unneeded 2nd tortilla on each taco(thanks Torchy’s, but no thanks) and maybe marginally more fish. For my taste, the proportion of fish, tortilla, cabbage and spicy mayo was perfect before the change. And unfortunately they jumped out of what I would call value range. Disappointing. Fish tacos were my only reason for visiting.

How is there not a line out the door every time I come here like Torchy’s?! That makes me sad but happy at the same time because I hate waiting in lines. This place really has a concept going with their locally fresh meats and vegetables. Love the fact that the meat comes from Floresville! I truly feel we need more restaurants like this around town! The mahi-mahi sandwich with pineapple and Serrano chipotle juiciness! You can’t put this sandwich down! Just try! You’re going to wipe your hands and your mouth just to pick it up and start the juicy process all over again. There’s a burger with all the fixings and fried egg-tell the clerk you want the egg runny. One time my egg was hard and it just wasn’t the same burger. Sweet potato fries are freaking soooo yummy, you must order the large portion and don’t even try sharing because no! The Serrano mayo is bomb! Serrano ketchup! Just die right there in the booth! Mmmm burgers and fries! Other key items are the shakes and the tacos but you’re going to eat here a lot. There’s time for you to review that.

Visiting San Antonio is always a treat. Not only is the food yummy here the service is really great. The workers didn’t even mind my Houston Rockets fan teasing them. We returned the following day for breakfast.

The portobello burger was great, but they’ve changed their menu quite a bit in the last year or two. They used to have a fantastic veggie burger, but have done away with this. It’s a great place for kids and they have extensive offerings for little ones. I also wish they still did plain nachos. They were phenomenal. The only nacho offering now appears to be some sort of loaded option for around $ 5.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been to OrderUp but I felt obligated to give them a great review because of their outstanding fish tacos that have left a permanent imprint on my brain. I still remember the perfect sized taco filled with flavorful fish and the freshest and crunchiest veggies… hard to do with hot fish! The tacos were absolutely outstanding(and for anyone that reads many of my reviews, I constantly order fish tacos everywhere I go… obsessed) and flavorful. The best part? They left me feeling light and healthy… not overstuffed or like I was missing anything. I used to have friends in SA and went went to a plethora of fantastic restaurants… somehow this fast food chain has always stood out as one of my most amazing meals on any of my visits. So sad that I have no real reason to visit there anymore… but if I do, I’ll be sure to go here numerous times. Bottom line: the fish tacos are a must. fries are optional.

I have been very reluctant to try this establishment because of how varied the menu is. Often when places try to do too much variety they end up failing at them all. A couple times I even made it as parking there before changing my mind and going someplace else. Today I threw caution to the wind, and actually went inside and placed an order. I ordered a burger. My expectations were exceeded. Was more like the kind of burger you’d expect from an old fashioned Texas burger joint than a place in a strip center. I got the ABC burger(avocado, bacon and cheese). So good. Nice bun to meat ratio. Excellent ooze from the burger. And avocado and bacon are just awesome. Very happy and have added them to my burger rotation list.

The problem with Orderup is their attemp to be all things to all people. Look, you have to specialize if you want to put out a decent product and unfortunately in this reviewer’s opinion, Orderup does nothing very well, a few things decently, and most things not very well at all. Let’s start with the burgers. Not entirely bad. They have an awesomely toasted but that still gave me a nice toasty«crunch» until the last bite. The patty also had that nice crust from the flattop. That’s where the good ends. The burger, its grilled onions, and mushrooms were just not seasoned enough. In fact, I had a hard time tasting any seasoning on the burger at all. Next, the fish tacos. I really have nothing nice to say about them. I found the fish to be bland, the seasoning, likewise, bland, and the cabbage«slaw» excessive. The only thing I could really taste of the fish taco was their mayonnaise-based sauce they put on the cabbage. Ah, fries. I love fries. In particular, I love hand cut fries. These appear to be hand cut. That’s where the magic ended for me. Like nearly everything on their menu, the fries were under seasoned. I am not suggesting drenching them in salt or some other seasoning but a light sprinkle would have been nice. Next, the chocolate chip cookie. Mmm, loved it. These are thick cookies with a moist center, and completely full of chocolate chips. For $ 2 a pop, they had better be good. Anyway, they were. I only wish I had a ½ dozen and a quart of milk. We also had a banana strawberry smoothie which was decent but nothing spectacular. Overall, I was not impressed. If you want to sell burgers, dig in your heals and make great burgers. What you don’t do is attempt to make burgers, tex mex, pizza, etc., all under the same roof. The only thing you succeed at is mediocracy. I would recommend this to anyone needing to appease a crowd who all want different things but not for anyone wanting a good representation of any one main menu item.
