We decided to try this place since they are opening an Alamo Ranch location next month. The value for your dollar is very good. An upscale gourmet sandwich, soups, salads and bakery. Very much love that they offered unsweetened flavored tea. Was disappointed in the chocolate mint brownies. The brownies were more of a cake and the icing lacked mint flavor and the chocolate icing also lacked flavor. The sandwiches and soup we ordered were very good. Really nice alternative to Jason’s Deli and Schlotzky’s.

I got the key lime tart and LOVED it – I had to go back a few days later for more. I also got the veggie sandwich and a raspberry smoothie, and both of those were great too. I’m a little confused as to why this place sells wrapping paper and home décor as well, but the food was good enough that I didn’t question it too much. Also every time I go there, good old music is always playing, so that’s a major plus.

I loved it! The food was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere! I walked in for breakfast this morning and I didn’t have to wait in line to order. After ordering, I went to get my coffee and by the time I was finished pouring it and whatnot, my food was ready. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant and it was amazing. It was hot and delicious. The restroom was nice and clean, which is a big plus for me. The only reason I deducted a star was because the staff wasn’t the friendliest. I would definitely go back though!

Kneaders is a chain… like Panera. Nothing special. I happened to be in the area for an appointment and I was hungry. A friend suggested going to Kneaders. So off we went. My chicken salad was decent. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Greens were fresh. Orange pieces, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and shaved Parmesan cheese complemented the salad well. My friend’s Ruben sandwich however was an awful, soggy mess. The corned beef was extremely dry. So perhaps they tried to over compensate by adding extra sauerkraut & dressing. Didn’t work. We couldn’t even eat half the sandwich. It was that gross :/ Cupcakes and cookies were too sweet for my taste. Service was good. Friendly staff. Private lot parking is always a bonus. It was busy around lunch time. So, others seem to like this place. For me though, it’s not good enough for me to go out of my way to come back.

Good food. Short on the meat but all other food was great. Excellent, friendly service. Occasionally ran out of coffee which is self service. So if they are busy just wait and they will refill the carafes for you to fill up again. Great omelettes. I had the American Omelette and liked it. The baked goods are amazing. Great goodies at a very reasonable price. We will be coming back on our next trip to the north side of San Antonio.

All I wanted was a brownie and it took over twenty minutes for a brownie. That’s beyond slow. And the brownie was 70% frosting and the other part tasted exactly like HEB’s brownies just I paid four times as much for a tiny piece. Sad day. I love the fact that this is a made fresh daily bakery but the slowness is a def turn off.

My favorite time to come is an hour before Closing time on Saturday nights when all their wonderful and delicious pastries are all on sale for half off! It’s so hard not to try them all but I always come back and tempted to try a new one or one that’s already sold out before we get to the head of the line. Gotta get there a bit early ’cause the line is out the door by the time we get there. And then from there it’s a good 30 min wait and you’re not even sure what you want is going to be left. I love the little tarts, pies, eclairs, cheesecakes, cookies, everything! We try to limit under $ 20 in dessert(12 – 14 desserts maybe?) So yummy! They even have so awesome fresh baked bread. They sample out while you’re waiting for your food and it’s delicious. Just check them out. They’re always busy. Kinda hard to get In and out of lot but that’s ok. Worth the trip! =)

Our fav café in the neighborhood. Salad and sandwiches almost good all the time, presentation and wait time can be a little off during busy lunch hour. Cakes and pies are why we frequent this place all the time. My daughter almost always order the chocolate mousse dome. Their brownie and loaf cake are very good.

Love the fresh bread, soups and salads. The cinnamon bread is to die for. Place is always decorated nicely and great gifts for sale. Great service and friendly staff. Freezing cold at this location. A little pricey. Great day for grilled cheese and some soup to keep me warm.

Have always loved this place. This is one of the few places I can go to and have the same service and food quality. One of my favorites is their grilled cheese and if you add chicken it’s sooooo good!!! The drive through is ok but for optimum service go inside :) They have a whole line of preserves and butters too and all of them have satisfied me! Aside from the food being amazing, they also have a small section for jewelry! I have bought 2 of my favorite necklaces from them :) They really do have a very nice staff and it’s worth going back. Especially when my family is picky with requests, they have always obliged.

I’m embarrassed how often I eat here! The service is always amazing. The food is great! The sugar cookies are to die for as well as their breakfast sandwiches. The only downside is that it does take awhile for them to make your food, but it is worth the wait.

The food here is SO good! Fantastic place to grab lunch with a friend or just get some coffee and a pastry when you’re feeling like a little afternoon sugar rush is in order. They have a huge variety of bakery items: cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, breads, cheesecakes, bread puddings, etc. I dare you not to find something you like!

I’ve been going a few times a week while on maternity leave and I am obsessed. Everything is soooooo good. I bring a loaf of bread home a few times a week. Their pastries are ridiculously delicious. They also have the nicest staff ever. I love Kneaders!

I’ve been here three times and the service is slow inside and at the drive thru. The food is okay but not good enough to wait this long. It’s disappointing because I expected so much more for this place. I didn’t get an apology for the long wait. And there just first seem to be any sense of urgency here. I’m done.

I love all the food at Kneaders! The sandwiches are packed with meat and the soups are so flavorful. Kids meals are @ $ 4.00 and include an entrée, chips(or grapes), a drink, a cookie and a cute toy/trinket. My daughter loves to eat here! The desserts, pies and pastries are amazing(and half price after 8pm on Saturdays). We come here on almost a weekly basis and have never had a bad food experience. Everything is fresh and delicious! They have a cozy fireplace in the winter, great gift/sale items and an overall wonderful atmosphere. Sometimes it’s a bit of a wait but well worth it!
