Excellent local Italian joint! My hubby and picked up food to go, the lobster ravioli was delish! Just what I was craving … Fresh side salad and free dessert through Unilocal was a bonus. The limoncello cake was nice bit of bright citrus at the end of a rich Italian meal. 4 stars because the veal texture was off, and that could have been because we got the food to go. Keep up the good work, we will be back!

We, as a family, stopped in on a whim. This was the best suggestion my husband ever suggested. Our server, AJ, was a fabulous individual with a great attitude. The food was great and extremely delicious. Overall this was a great place. Thank you and we will be returning.

HIGHLYRECOMMENDED! We went to a movie with some friends and none of us had eaten so we first though about grabbing a late desert. Our Unilocal search pulled up this incredible gem so we decided to give it a try. We were all very happy we did so as this place was incredible! We ended our meal with desert, but once insane none of us could resist eating a full meal. We literally closed the place down and had terrific food, wonderful service, and an overall great experience. We all tried something different and every entrée was equally as delicious and appealing. One of the biggest surprises for me was the depth of their menu and the wide variety. I can’t wait to go back and try something different. Our waitress, Dulce, was so sweet I have to recommend that you ask specifically for her because she did a terrific job and made you feel like an old time regular. We normally find little hole in the wall Mexican restaurants where we frequent and gradually get to know the people. This place felt like an old favorite on our very first visit. Overall definitely one of the best dining experiences I have had in San Antonio. Even though it’s on the far opposite side of town there’s no question we will definitely be back.

Delicious and very good service!!! Server Dulce was very sweet and very attentive. This is my second time here and I am surprised that this place isn’t more full, better than Olive Garden in my opinion!

3.5 stars for a restaurant located in a not that amazing part of town, the ambiance is not bad! not fancy by any means, but it does have an italian kinda vibe. the menu has a ton of offerings, and the server was nice enough to point out some of the popular dishes in each section. my roommates and i decided to try the frito mix(calamari, mozzarella sticks, and fried shrimp with marinara sauce). i ordered the tilapia and shrimp livornesse, and my roommates got a veal dish and a chicken cacciatore dish. we all opted for the soup of the day instead of the side salad that accompanies each entrée. it was a chicken/veggie/rice soup, which went pretty well with the cheese-topped herb bread. the frito mix was also pretty decent, with a good amount of calamari, 3 mozzarella sticks, and 3 shrimp. perfect for us to share! by this point though, we were actually kind of full. girl problems. but the entrees came out shortly after and all looked great. there is the option for fresh parmesan cheese on top, which was a nice touch. my tilapia entrée was great! the fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and it was a fair-sized dish for the price. i tried a bite of my friends’ chicken and veal dishes though and both were disappointing. the chicken was dry and the veal was weirdly chewy. i would consider coming back for the tilapia dish if i were feeling some good fish! also, be sure to take advantage of the Unilocal deal($ 25 for $ 35 of food) and check in for a free dessert! we got the tiramisu, which was underwhelming(small, too much cream, not enough ladyfingers) but it was free so i can’t complain!

There are a ton of positive reviews for this place but I’m not sure what the hubbub is all about. I like that the food is cheap and the portions generous but it tastes just ok to me. The lunch specials are incredibly generous. You can’t beat bread, salad and lasagna(or other pasta) for $ 7. After having lunch at Supper, I felt like I was robbing this place. You mean I get all of this… even the bread… for just $ 7.00?!? I was really looking forward to digging into the bread but was incredibly disappointed by how boring it was. It was chewy and lacked flavor. A little bit of olive oil would have helped this immensely. Now that I’ve had Rossini bread… I think all Italian restaurants need to step up their game. The salad was a huge joke. The vinaigrette is actually just olive oil and vinegar in 2 bottles, you make it yourself. No problem. But the house salad was just a few huge pieces of iceberg lettuce and a tomato wedge. Well… I guess it is complimentary so can’t complain too much? I liked my lasagna but again, I’ve had better. It’s fairly generic and hard to mess up. The lasagna was soft and there was plenty of filling. And the sauce had a good flavor. For dessert we checked in with Unilocal for the free desserts. We got the tiramisu and cannoli. I’ve had terrible luck with cannolis lately. Why are the shells always so horrible tasting? They are hard and smell like they were fried in old oil. The tiramisu was good but it didn’t have a strong espresso flavor. It tasted like what a tiramisu ice cream would taste like– more cream, less coffee. I liked the tiramisu a lot more than the cannoli but I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for either. So overall, I feel like the cheap prices come at a cost to the ingredient quality. If you want a cheap, filling lunch, come here. If you want an incredible Italian dining experience — maybe skip this.

CONS: Ambiance feels thrown together, Caesar salad seemed to be an iceberg bag lettuce mix with store bought dressing. Service was disorganised and inexperienced. Horrible wine list. Overly sweet marinara sauce, even for my 10 year old, with which also seemed to be paired with frozen store bought meatballs. Bad lighting, no music. Overly cooked cannoli. PROS: garlic bread, cheap wine prices. Never will be back. I’ll stick with Tiu Steppis, the BEST Italian food in San Antonio.

This place is a GEM nestled in a former Soup or Salad it is a wonderful addition to the area! I had been to Louie before and had a wonderful experience which is why I decided to return today. I went with my mom for lunch and the lunch specials are so generous! When you arrive fresh garlic rolls are ready for you at your table. I had never had anything like them they’re truly yummy! Our waiter was attentive and very knowledgeable. He asked what we wanted to order and my mom and I both decided on a Cesar Salad with the lunch trio. If you have the Unilocal app they have the offer for the FREE dessert and we opted for the limoncello. Our salads arrived and they were so fresh and my mom commented how she appreciated that they put the salad dressing on the side. I thought that was really nice as well. Our food arrived in a little boat with the trio of lasagna, manicotti and cannelloni. Where else can you get a trio like that?! so awesome! Then we finally ate our limoncello which was SO good! Our waiter the whole time was very courteous and attentive to whatever we needed which we were grateful for. The staff here truly cares about your dining experience and you can really feel that as soon as you enter the door. The lunch specials are wonderful! Overall this establishment is great and I definitely recommend! Wonderful Job Louie!

As usual, the service was fantastic. Had a completely different server this time but she was just as good as the rest. I had the pasta sampler again and was not disappointed… The baked ziti is fantastic as well. Overall a very good experience once again. The music is fabulous as well. ****** must try the desserts. They are super yummy.

Lobster Ravioli 5 stars Philly Cheesesteak 5 stars Chicken Parmigiana 5 stars I love their customer service here. I haven’t met one waiter/waitress that didn’t show good customer service skills. They always seem happy and like they love their job. They keep smiles on their face and they always remember their customers. They also go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their service and food.

First came here based on the hot and new moniker and the positive reviews. This place used to be a Souper Salad when I worked in the area. The service was hospitable and attentive. I had the eggplant parm and it was good. The bread was delicious. I’ll definitely make this a regular spot for an Italian fix. This place deserves to succeed. Have been here five times so far and each time it has been spot on. Love the eat one roll with butter. Then save one to wipe the sauce off the plate. Love the modern music they play including Adele’s latest single. I like Olive Garden and Maggianos, but this place way out does OG and holds its own against Maggianos and certainly is more conveniently located. Right after dinner I’m going to make a convenient stop at Sam’s Club next door.

Delicious and pleasant establishment! The atmosphere is warm and inviting that makes for a great date night, or just a place to stop by for good food. You can dress casual if you please or go dressed up, either way the atmosphere accommodates any occasion. Service was impeccable with our waitress meeting all of our needs from«More bread please!» to refilling our drinks in a timely manner. Even the manager came out to make sure we were well taken care of. He was very genuine and caring to our needs. The food was delicious! The complimentary bread was absolutely addicting! It went perfectly with our salads and entrees. I got the Baked Ziti and my date got the Chicken Tetrazzini. Both dishes were flavorful from the chicken down to the sauce and pasta. Of course Italian food is heavy, but I did not feel as full as I do when I eat at other Italian restaurants. The food and dish presentation were on point! There is also a bar you can order drinks from before or after your meal. It looked very cozy and had t.v.s on with different channels playing. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food and warm service. I will be visiting again!

This new establishment has a great Unilocal deal right now! For $ 25 you can get $ 50 worth of food! My friend and I took advantage of this amazing deal and had a great time. The manager of the restaurant, Randy, is so kind and all of the servers there were great too! Bread(5⁄5): The bread here is AMAZING! It blows all other Italian restaurants bread out of the water. NO competition! It’s so soft and buttery to the taste. We had to ask them to stop bringing it to us so we could eat more food! Frito Mix(5⁄5): Shrimp, Calamari, Cheese Sticks with their homemade marinara sauce. Really loved this appetizer. It comes with 3 friend shrimp and cheese sticks. Everything was really good! Lobster Ravioli(3⁄5): I got this as my main entrée and the sauce was so salty! I couldn’t really taste the lobster inside, but I know they put shrimp in the dish because I coud taste the shrimp. I feel like the sauce was either cheese based or some type of heavy cream. Not a huge fan… wish there was red sauce instead. Chicken Parmesan type dish(4⁄5): It wasn’t chicken parmesan, but when I looked on their menu online I couldn’t find what the dish was called. I think the marinara sauce was delicious and the noodles were cooked well too! They give you two whole pieces of chicken though! Buffalo Chicken Pizza(4⁄5): The pizza was pretty good too! I liked how there was a spicy kick to it. I give it a 4 because it was good, but it wasn’t like omg I’m going to die if I never eat a slice of this pizza again good. Overall, really enjoyed coming here. The team that works here seems really sweet and attentive.
