Writing this review for a good friend of mine… *9:30 on Wednesday evening(3/2/16)…* He went to this Sonic this last Wednesday, bought a full meal and Tea. Tipped the young kid working as his server. After finishing his burger, the jalapeño burger, and having already drank his tea… My friend, a 58-year-old veteran, asked for a cup of water. And was told he would need to pay for a cup of water, despite already having a cup, despite already buying a meal. Shocked, my friend asked if he could get some from the tap, a spicket, whatever! And the manager, continued to say he «wouldn’t give anything for free». And wouldn’t even give the price of what water would cost him! This man, as well as Sonic, has made my friend feel disrespected, judged, cheapened, and blown off. I will do everything in my power to find the manager who treated my friend so poorly, and report this incident to the proper supervisors. Additionally, neither I, my friend, or any of our other friends will be returning to Sonic.

C’mon people. You are rating a fast food joint. Compare it to other fast food joints. Sonic is always freshly prepared and tasty. Staff are usually pretty nice. Wait can be a bit, but again: it’s fresh. Who else gives you mints and brings the food to your car? Great place any time of day. Gotta love them Tater Tots.

Typical Sonic– great drinks, especially with happy hour pricing. Currently running a promotion for ½ priced shakes after 8 p.m. Not a fan of their food, but if you have a tater tot or onion ring craving, it is a convenient place to stop.

I’m a fan of this Sonic location. I typically(aka VERY often) go for happy hour, and I’ve only gotten an incorrect drink order one time, which I think speaks volumes for a business run by mostly high school/college age kids earning minimum wage. If you’re looking for quick, friendly service(especially during happy hour – 2−4pm), this is the spot!
