TGI Friday’s

Overall the restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean, the waiter that was helping us for the night was super cute, the prices were reasonable, the drinks were fantastic and the food was nice and hot when it came to the table.

Been a while since I’ve been to Friday’s. Had the Mahi Mahi sandwich. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Not what I expected and not what the photo looked like. McDonalds fish sandwich is a better value.

Horrible service. Waiter came one time to take the order. Did not bring the drink until I told him three times. Food was not the correct order. Worse service won’t be back

After reading some of the not so great reviews, we came mainly for the Spinach dip. We gave this place a chance but still had issues from the start just getting our water and dip, Then it took longer than expected to get our prefect Margarita to top that off it was the wrong one. To make things worse our food came out at different times. This place was not busy at all at 8:30pm. We spoke with the manager and he did apologize about all the issues and as a good jester he took the drinks off our tab. The food once we had it all was no issues. Hopefully they can work this out

Food wasn’t the worst. But the bartender gave me the feeling they were working community service. I would never step foot in there again.

Probably one of the worst experiences at a TGI Fridays. Our waiter was absolutely horrible and could not get our order right. We ordered the potato skins for an appetizer and they were cold. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich, but instead received plain chicken. I just ordered a salad and was very disappointed that the salad went bad. The lettuce and kale was brown. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after the appetizer was finished. Overall I was really disappointed that the restaurant really went downhill. We won’t be returning to TGI Fridays.

We use to enjoy this place for the service, food, and reasonable price. Well this past time we went it was just so dissapointing. We got potato skins that were now cut up into bites sizes, so that means we are paying the same price of 8.99 for only 3 skins compared to 6.
And my entrée was just so small for the price of 15.99, for 2 tiny pieces of nicely seasoned chicken cutlets. They were much larger the last time. And the shrimp were just sad looking. (Sizzling chicken and shrimp)

This place is just a DUD of a place now!

This place is in need of a serious remodeling job. Not sure it’s been touched in 20 years. Dusty. dirty and out dated. Apps and drinks at the bar are fine but the regular food sucks and way overpriced. Their entrees are as much or more than even a place like the Cheesecake Factory across the highway which is far nicer with good food

Food was ok. Disappointed ‘Jack Daniels burger’ means regular burger with Jack Daniels sauce on the side… Drinks were decent but it felt really dirty in there. Seats and tables not wiped or cleaned after and before each guest… And wow… DON’T LOOK UP. (The amount of dust and dirt built up on the ceiling and vents through out the restaurant is enough to make you consider returning. Especially when you’re sitting at a sticky booth crumbs all on your bench.)

Green bean fries were phenomenonal but the service was very slow at the bar. Happy Hour special was worth it. Looking forward to reviewing again when entrees are ordered

Long ago before I landed in San Antonio, the city of all food types and establishments, I loved enjoying a cup of broccoli and cheese soup, a Jack Daniels tower of succulent shrimp, tender soaked chicken tenders in JD sauce along with some JD ribs at TGIF. The food was tasty back then, presented in a way that was visually aesthetic to the eyes and even more tempting to the palette… But that was then… And this is now…
My date and I ordered the JD tenders as our app, a Tower for myself ($ 14.99) and a steak, mash potatoes and cheese macaroni for him. The tenders were tasty but thrown onto the plate which was just covered in sticky sauce. My meal looked just as unappetizing and the shrimp were anorexic and few in number. My ribs were just as anorexic and the tower that they had presented years ago on now was replaced by a plate that my food just seemed to be dumped on…
My date seemed to enjoy his steak and then decided to abandon his macaroni that was more bland cheese sauce then cheddar cheese in it’s dish. I sampled it and wanted to spit it out as it seemed devoid of pepper and salt. He finished his mash potatoes and seemed to enjoy his Long Island Iced tea at a reasonable price of $ 4 a glass.
I thank TGIF for its support of the military during Veteran’s Day, but with the hundreds of other establishments to choose from… why would I come back here.
Side note JD sauce is always Delicious. Sell it in the store just like its served here and I don’t think I’d ever have to come back.

Two stars just because the food was halfway decent. Came with a friend and ordered a wedge salad and a simple burger… 30 minutes later, still no food. Just when I was about to ask, she brought out our order. She seemed so focused on pushing an extra sale and didn’t bother to fix anything. Took way too long.

The service at this particular TGI Fridays is awful. It was very slow the night we decided to dine in, but we had to flag down our waiter to get any refills. He was constantly popping in and out of the bar to check his cell phone. When we asked for a to-​go box, he snatched our plates away from us (without asking) before we were finished packing all of our food. We felt very unwanted and rushed. We called the store and spoke to a manager a few days later to tell him about our experience, and he laughed at our complaint. We were not being rude, but he said that we should have spoken to him that night and not to «blow off steam» after the fact. We’ll not be going back to this particular restaurant. If we ever want TGI Fridays, we’ll drive further for better service.

Garbage just do yourself a favor and skip this place… I went here with some friends otherwise I would have never gone here. It was dirty and old looking and the food was total trash

The food was great! We really liked it!!!
But the service… HORRIBLE. If I knew the guy’s name, I would mention it here. Maybe he was having a bad day, I don’t know, but he didn’t have to be like that. I asked him if the boneless buffalo wings were also included in the $ 10 appetizers and he said yes but gave me a huge list of things I couldn’t do. So I was like ok that’s fine, I did know that. He went on to do the same with my friend. He was very inattentive and dry.
Other than that, the food was delicious. I’d go back to TGI Friday’s, but not this one.

Not very impressed. The loaded potatoes I ordered were fried and so greasy that the potatoes actually changed color. I was able to squeeze oil out of the potato.
The waitress allowed me to switch out the potatoes with something different (which I did) but in the end it didn’t help.
I probably won’t be back or recommend it to anyone.

The green bean fries here are worth every visit! The meal was great we had the French dip and the NY cheddar & bacon burger. I went with a 4 on this review because the bar staff was a little slow but everything else was great. We sat at the bar and laughed at the very interesting crowd– overall was a good dinner with fair priced brews. we will be back… especially for those green bean fries!

This chain used to be half decent, but I noticed a few years ago the quality, especially of the appetizers is just sub par if not nasty. I haven’t been to this location for about two years, but was enticed by the endless appetizers for $ 12, and you can now switch between apps.
There are only about 7 apps to choose from and the only ones worth eating were the potato skins and the boneless wings (buffalo, sriracha, and BBQ). The cheese on all the apps was processed and separating from cheap oil and imitation cheese. The potstickers were over cooked and tough, the salad was wilted, the flatbreads were microwaved, and the bruschetta was downright nasty.
I still love that Jack daniels sauce, but I suspect if I ever get the ribs or steaks, I will find them gristly and fatty. This company years ago chain wide probably made a decision to go low quality on their basic ingredients thinking the ignorant public wouldn’t know. Well, this ignorant fool won’t spend another nickle here.

We weren’t super hungry so we ordered the 5 appetizers for $ 23 ordered the Thai tacos, bruschetta, the steak skewers, bacon& cheese in dip & the tuna crispers. The steak skewers the best! The service was really good because our server offered a free desert if we completed a survey, which we completed & ordered the brownie! Wow, that fudge just melted in my mouth… so delicious! Over all great experience! The only thing I was surprised to see was another family come in that were seated where the sun hit the table behind us & the staff refused to move them or offer to pull down the blinds instead let them walk to another better lit restaurant… what a poor excuse to give up service! Wish the manager would of been there to address this better!

Hostess very nice, so is my waitress. It’s pretty busy but we got our food quickly. Their potato skins and shrimp&cajun pasta is to die for! Not sure why it has 2 stars but I drove here from New Braunfels for this place, that says something because I normally stay within New Braunfels. This place will definitely see us more. Highly recommended to anyone! :D oh and the antiques on the wall are cool.
