The service, food and pie here are great! They will be sorely missed, if indeed they are closed. I used their catering and they were great too.

Friendly staff and decent food. The pie is good but it has the«commercial» taste, which makes sense being mass produced. I prefer the Mom and Pop pie you find at hole in the wall joints. However, this is GOODPIE and I do recommend it. Nancy M.

Love the flavor of their Apple Pie. 13 different pie flavors offered today. All in stock and it’s 2:15pm. Great coffee as well. I’ll be back. They also serve sandwiches on bread, bagels, and Paninis. Wow. Will have to come back for lunch. Today, was Apple Pie and coffee. Great.

I bought the original pie. It came in a box, frozen, but fully baked. You can let the pie defrost over 4 hours, or heat it in the oven for an hour and a half. For best presentation the directions recommend you cut the pie while frozen, and then heat and serve. It was a little difficult to cut through a semi-defrosted pie, but it kept things from getting messy, especially considering the pie is about 4.5 inches tall in the center. I heated the slices individually on plates after cutting. My friends and I all agreed that the flavor of the pie was very good, as was the apples to crust ratio, even with the hearty amount of filling. My one qualm is that a full-size pie will run you $ 35-$ 40, which in my opinion is overpriced for a pie you have to defrost. I must say though, that you DO get a lot of servings out of it(I got 14 slices) so this helps balance out the price.

I really like this place. Kind of a small space but it usually isn’t too crowded. Lunch is your standard café fair. I’m a sucker for any good sandwich/soup type place though. Throw in pie and I’m definitely a fan. The staff were friendly and I loved the wise variety of pie options. I want to try them all! Their happy hour deal for pie and coffee is also an added bonus.

This place is ok and I will come occasionally. I have ordered the cucumber sandwich with dill on a plain bagel, fiesta sandwich with beans, bacon and cheese, roasted red pepper with smoked gouda soup. Sandwiches are made in front of you and service is quick. Everything I ate was good although I dont know how fresh the ingredients were because it seems like some stuff are bought at the grocery store. Such as muffins, breads, beans from a can and so forth. Prices for pies and slices of pies are very expensive.

Yummy pie, and the other foods is tasty too. Enjoyed the black forest ham & pepperoni panini, very good. Had a taste of the mesquite turkey & bacon panini, also very good. The coconut supreme pie was very, very yummy.

This café is fairly standard on all accounts. It’s comfortable enough and the lunch food is decent. The pie wasn’t anything amazing, but it’s good enough to satisfy a pie craving. They do have a happy hour from 2 to 5 with a slice of pie and coffee for $ 5. The staff was extremely friendly and the customer base seems to be comprised of regulars. It is in a convenient location for me and a quiet, cozy place to work… I have no complaints, so I will be back.

So I went in to use my Groupon and thankfully I only spent the 10.00 to get 20.00 worth of food. I was shocked to see that a slice… no wait a SLIVER of pie costs 4.99. My husband got the pecan pie and I got the coconut cream pie. They were ok but nothing to really rave about. I’ve had better and bigger slices of pie. I also took home a chicken salad sandwich which lacked in flavor considering it had celery and green and red bell peppers. They do have happy hour on a slice of pie and coffee which is pretty cool but again, nothing really to rave about.

Went today for«the sweetest happy hour in town» and was very pleasantly surprised! From 2−5pm you can get a slice of pie and a coffee for $ 5 and you can taste ANY of their pies before you commit! :) The Key Lime pie is delicious(and that’s coming from a girl who lived in Miami for 7 years and had her share of authentic and delicious key lime pies!), the chocolate pie and the cherry pie were also delicious! I didn’t care much for the buttermilk pie– it was ok. The coffee was good and you have unlimited refills. I will definitely be going back soon!

Let me get this out of the way early: I’m not much of a pie fan, I’m on Team Cake, thankyouverymuch. So for years I’d ignored this place, convinced that it was a pie-lovers paradise in which I’d find absolutely nothing of interest. Oh how wrong I was. We went in around 2pm for a late Sunday lunch– we were immediately greeted by two cheerful employees who seemed genuinely happy to be there and proud of the products they served, and it totally set a positive tone for our entire visit. We ordered the Pacific Coast bagel sandwich(salmon, cream cheese, capers, dill, red onion, tomato) and the Italian chicken Panini(chicken, roasted red pepper, pesto mayo, cheddar cheese) with a side salad, a cup of the roasted red pepper and gouda soup, and dessert for the BF: cherry pie a la mode with a coffee. Items are well priced and despite the name of the restaurant showcasing it’s desserts, there are healthy options aplenty. Food came out quickly and was brought to our table with a smile and genuine offers to get more condiments, silverware, or anything else we might need. Tables are few and small, so groups larger than maybe three will probably not be able to sit together, and at lunch time this place may be mostly carry-out rather than dine-in due to limited space. Both sandwiches were awesome– we split them half and half, and the Pacific Coast was a perfect breakfast or brunchy option, while the Italian chicken was savory and warm. The soup was super tasty, and not at all watered down or diluted as at other places. The side salad was fresh and crunchy, and BF said the coffee was phenomenal– and it certainly smelled that way. A placard stated it was made from freshly roasted local coffee beans with hazelnut, and it smelled like there was a hint of chocolate, too. And now for that dessert review. You know, with the pie I said I didn’t have any intention of eating. Well, I ate it. And it was amazing. The pie was hot, the ice cream was cold, and it melted into a delicious mess of sweet and tart, perfectly balanced and delicious. We may or may not have been one of those disgustingly cute couples taking turns spooning one another bites. In short, it’s safe to say we’ll likely making this place a regular Sunday brunch spot. I loved the sandwiches we got, and am very much interested in trying others– not to mention more of that phenomenal soup!

I didn’t realize that Tootie Pie also offers sandwiches and salads. I picked up a chicken salad sandwich and a couple of slices of pie. The sandwich consisted of just bread and the chicken salad, no lettuce, tomato, etc. The croissant it was served on was excellent, but overall it was pretty underwhelming. The pie was delicious, but just a sliver of a portion. When I think of southern style pie I think of a nice wedge, not a sliver. Overall, I would stop in if in the area for a slice of pie, but would probably skip lunch.

First time to Tootie Pie Gourmet Café today. I ordered the ½ gourmet sandwich and a cup of soup. I went for the vegetarian sandwich, not because I’m a vegetarian… trust me, I like my bacon just like the next girl… but I wanted something light. The wheat bread was really good, but the sandwich on the whole was a little disappointing. If it had sprouts and avocado and maybe some grilled eggplant, and/or a little less mustard, I would have been ecstatic… The roasted red pepper soup, on the other hand, was outstanding! Creamy with chunks of smoked gouda cheese and peppers(or tomatoes) to give it a heartier feel, made it amazing. I will go back for the soup and make a wiser decision on the sandwich part!

I’ve had a few different menu items here and while the sandwiches are alright, it is the pie that gives this little gem four stars. When I get a craving for buttermilk pie, it must be satisfied by Tootie’s as this is the only place/company/person who can make that one of a kind flavor. The pie slices are amazing and they have a plethora of delicious flavors but the one complaint I do have would be that their slices are a bit on the smaller side and are expensive. $ 4.99 a slice is a bit much no matter how delicious. The pie is rich enough to where the size is sometimes filling but even so the price seems a little steep. The staff at the Huebner location is very friendly and incredibly helpful and always go above and beyond. As I’ve mentioned in my other reviews, customer service is pretty high one my list so this a positive attitude is always welcomed.

Didn’t realize this was not just a pie place. The location has been several things but nothing ever worth visiting a 2nd time. «Love at first sight» occurred when the Staff came around the counter to greet us. They were all super nice and flexible with the menu. I had a cup of soup and half of the club sandwich. The bacon in the club was much appreciated, it was cooked perfectly and there was a generous serving in just half of the sandwich. The soup stole the show! Roasted tomato with smoked Gouda soup — better than la Madeline. There were actually chunks of tomato. On the menu what stood out was that they have a taco bagel! Refried beans, bacon and cheese on a bacon. Did I find heaven at a pie shop? For $ 18 we had two lunch specials and one slice of pie and I think it was totally worth it.
