The owner is always nice. I always, always crave the spicy noodle soup (no meat) — Even on hot days! This café is conveniently located behind my work so I just call in and pick up my food 5 min later.

This place is great! The coffee is awesome and the breakfast is on point. Everything is very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cool and laid back. I love that the staff is always friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place for someone who needs a quick coffee fix or some great well-​priced food.

In a business park but perfect for a quick snack/​coffee break! Homey vibe with couch and TV set up. DELICIOUS blended frappes. Personal fave: milky way, and the caramel is good too!

HINT: When you drive in you must turn on the first entry way to the right and it will be at the end on the right side, very hard to find that’s the only reason not 5stars. The New Yorker was delicious and made promptly. When im in this area and craving a sandwich I will Definitely be back.

If you live or work in Sorrento Valley /​Mira Mesa area and have not tried this place, you really need to check it out! It used to be called Angeli’s Café, and it is now under new ownership and called Aliya’s Deli.
I was a loyal customer before the change, and I have to say it is even better than it was before! This place is amazing, and the owner is amazing. She is nice, friendly, hard-​working and always remembers my name and my order. This is a small little place tucked away in a business park, but do not let the size or the location fool you. This is some of the best food in the area!
It is perfect for a quick and easy breakfast… you can get a breakfast sandwich on your choice of bagel, croissant, English muffin or in a burrito. I get the combo croissant: ham, bacon, sausage, egg, cheese and chipotle sauce on a croissant. ITS DELICIOUS! She custom makes every order the way you like it. They also have drinks and snacks if you are on the go, and their lunch menu is amazing!
I rarely write reviews on Unilocal,but I had to write one on Aliya’s. This is my favorite place to go, and it feels good knowing I am supporting such a great local business with such a wonderful owner. The best part? It is off the main street so it’s nice and quiet and you almost never have to wait for your order. Would give 6 stars if I could!
If you type the address into your GPS it will take you to the end of the cul-​de-​sac where the restaurant is located. Off to the slight right there is a driveway, and you should see a small sign for the deli. The parking lot is down that driveway, and the place is at the end on the right. Check it out!
