Chipotle Mexican Grill

At at Chipotle today and had a steak bowl. My stomach has been bubbling and I’ve been in and out of the bathroom ever since

Tried to be healthy with two sides of chicken, salsa cheese and guac for extra. Cost $ 12. It was as expected, good, but costly.

When ordering the quesadilla, double-​check to make sure it turns out a Quesadilla– and not a tortilla with shredded cheese. After mulling it over for 15 minutes, my daughter took the initiative & asked them (nicely) to reheat it. Due to sanitary reasons, they refused– understandable, yet I wondered why they didn’t just put it in another foil and press it again, but whatever.
–I eventually got fired up, opened the quesadilla more, snapped a photo and was ready to post it on MCCS Miramar’s facebook page. Instead, I took it to the counter and (nicely) told them I understood why they refused to reheat it, but that THIS (showing them the shredded cheese & tortilla) wasn’t worth the $ 7 I paid. I told them, «I could’ve done THIS, on my own– for free.» I let them know I wasn’t angry, but in the future, they should consider a timer for their grill.
–She apologized & made another, which I really appreciated. But by this time, everyone was done eating and we were headed out the door.
–Gave this place 3 stars because although Quality Assurance was lacking, the food was still good. I ‘only’ gave it 3 because they didn’t even bother looking at the quesadilla my daughter showed them. They (unapologetically) shut her down without a glance– it took an adult to get any leeway.

Staff is friendly. Portions are great! I always have leftovers. One of the best chipotles I’ve been too so far!

Had an excellent experience here staff were very nice and polite. They listened to exactly how much I wanted on my meal. Awesome customer service. A lot better here them other locations I have gone to in the past.

I give it two stars only because when I ate there we had a clear view into the back kitchen and saw a worker (girl that has plugs in her ear) while mixing a batch of guac she got some on her hand in which she wasn’t wearing gloves, then proceeded to lick her fingers and then wipe it on her pants to dry them off, then mixed it some more and then walked out to serve it. I kept watching the two girls back there kept on working with no gloves and same girl from before coughs or sneezes into her hand and then kept on working.

Friendly Service with a smile, and as chipotle always is… GREAT FOOD!

I already love chipotle. Good healthy food with great hours. The people at this specific chipotle were very friendly and nice even though we showed up very close to closing time. Thumbs up chipotle at Miramar base!

I usually really like Chipotle, I just think it’s a bit pricey. But the day I came here, I ordered a chicken bowl and the meat was pretty burnt and really dark, compared to the other chipotle restaurants I’ve tried. Like I said, maybe it just happened to be this day that the chicken was just cooked terribly, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt because the staff is really nice here and generous with their meats and all other toppings compared to other Chipotle restaurants.

There was no sign stating that it would open later, and as a customer was waiting outside an employee put a sign saying it was closing earlier. He didn’t bother to come to the door and say they are opening later. Waited out side for approx 30 min

Just like another chipotle but not gunna lie, I feel a lot safer eating around grown men in uniform. I love this base. Not because half these people are my customers but because I like how nice and polite all military branches are. So respectful & proud. This place always gets busy I never go here truthfully. Once is good enough.

This Chipotle is on the Miramar base.
It is a nice alternative to Panda Express and McDonalds.
It is your typical Chipotle, nothing extraordinary about it. The place is new so it has the «new car» smell still… lol…It looks pretty sleek compared to other Chipotle’s I have been too.
The ingredients are fresh, everything is made right in front of you and the people behind the counter are very nice and polite.

Taking a Miramar College class that happens to be on base. We take a break at 6:30 and I was looking for a quick and light dinner/​snack. I love Chipotle and this location had awesome, quick service. I was ordering to go so I could eat in class and I asked for a bottle of water, they told me the price and suggested a water cup which I thought was nice.
The one thing I was bummed about was they didn’t give me a tortilla with my chicken bowl. All other locations always include it, I’ll take half a star off lol but I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this spot to anybody on base.

Well first off, I want to let everyone know that you need to be able to get on MCAS Miramar to get to this location.
This is a brand new Chipotle and I have never seen one on a military installation until I came to eat at this one!
The look and feel to it was very modern with a divey ambience to it. The restaurant was clean and still pretty busy during the late hours. The service was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the «secret menu». The food was up to Chipotle’s standard along with no missing items.
The parking was spacious and the location was great! Outdoor seating was available as well.
I’d recommend this place and also the quesarrito (quesadilla and burrito combo). If you haven’t it tried it and you’ve been to a Chipotle a hand full of times then you’re doing something wrong hahaha
Overall 5stars for the food, service and modernized establishment.
